Discontinued Haze Dual V3

@Vape Dr., great pics. Where did you purchase your Haze? Also, if possible could you give a review on how well it vapes wax/shatter? I've got an Ascent I've been using for about 9months, but it doesn't do straight oil/wax very good at all. It does bud very well and I have very few complaints overall but the more I see and hear about the Haze the more I want to try one. For me to purchase the Haze I need to know that it vapes oil/wax very well, good taste and decent clouds. I'd like to hear more about the taste from vaping buds and wax. Does the vaper get very hot on the throat? Do you have to draw hard to get decent clouds from buds and from wax/oil? I really wish that I could use one before I purchase it but since I cannot this thread sure helps. Thanks.

Hey Guys,

It has been a while. I have been dealing with some life stress nowadays. It is nice to see that there have been many new posts/members on this thread. I love that custom water tool attachment. How do we order that? I googled Eds tnt but I could not find this particular product on that website.

@Norcalsun

Haze works very well with wax and oils. I had a video posted a while back (i copied it below). Tiny dab - nice clouds. Hope this helps. I am looking forward to Vape Dr.s review as well. I promised some more pictures with my dad's new Haze but never got around it. Will do that shortly. My Haze is still going strong and loving the experience. I saw that the new release is up. I will see if I can get an upgrade from Haze gals.

My wax and dry herb in can experience:

@Norcalsun I purchased the haze direct from the manufacturer.
Wax & shatter, that was my first thought as well.

The Haze is just a wonderfully crafted device with tons of great unique extras (I love the tweezer/shovel!).
@trevorzamani thank you for all your advice and reviews on how the Haze vapes waxes and oils!

The Haze comes with everything you need and then some.

I loaded up one of the cans with some shatter. The same amount as the DVD shows.
I would call it a dab, maybe a large dab but no more than .1g.

I fired the Haze up to 4 and enjoyed some of the most delicious vaped shatter only to be rivaled by W9 Tech.

I LOVE my oil! I have now pretty much everything W9 Tech offers in the way of oil vaporization.

For me to compare the enjoyment of my oil/shatter to that of any W9 Tech oil device is astounding to say the least!

YES YES YES! YES 1000% times! The haze vapes shatter like a freakin champ!
I am truly as amazed, as I am impressed at how well the Haze vapes oil. Shatter non the less!

Will have a review after a week of testing.
Thank you Haze for putting out a great product.
I look forward to doing my review!

Has anyone tried using glass flowers with buds, or is it not necessary at all? With other portable vapes glass flowers seem to help. Just curious.

Never tried it but I really don't think you need it. All three methods (conduction screen/convection screen/multi-purpose cans) provide a slightly different experience but all work well as is.

I think if you were going to take a pole for which is least preferred I am guessing most would say the convection screens. Between the cans and the conduction screen it's a toss up but I would suspect most may choose the cans because the performance is similar, the portability factor and it's much easier to keep things clean.

I don't have experience with oil/wax but I can tell you that the amount of herb you put in and how you push the lid down with herb is critical! If you don't have the lid on correctly you won't get the proper air flow through the can and you will in fact waste your material. This happened to me early on before I realized how important this was.

Other big factors are battery level (the unit performs best with good batteries) and how you seat the cans in the bowl. You should have the hooks facing the opposite way of the door hinge.

I hope this helps.

i pack it roughly 3/4 full and do not compact it at all. I always put the can in the right way, like in the dvd, I belive it to be how i put the lid on. I'll edit this post later about how it goes

I pulled the E-juice pads out of the can and put a dab at the bottom.

As @NickDlow said hold the Haze with the logo up, so the cans are upright.

Make sure the silicone lid on the can is properly seated.

Turn unit to 4 and you can start vaping oils as soon as it reaches temp.

I am going to try using wax with one of the E-juice pads to see if the taste diminishes at all, and to see if the "pad" holds the oils at a vertical angle without leaking out.

All you literally need is a small dab as shown in the Haze DVD.
Maybe you over filled the can and the oil clogged the air path holes in the silicone lid.
Try using just a small dab and see if that works.

You will get it my friend! I have faith in you!

@qaz! There are no discounts I know of my friend.

I can tell you I have had had my Haze for less than a week and I wish I would have purchased one way sooner.

The ability to enjoy your finest herbs and oils with one convenient unit is absolutely priceless!

Especially when The haze works as well with wax/shatter as it does with herb, and the taste is amazing!:p

if I remember correctly, the vaporizerusa coupon on my blog only works for the accessory?!

i feel a bit sorry today, that I had doubts about the haze vaporizer at first and I love to see how this thread helped them to improve their vaporizer. Crowd sourcing is for me the most honest and respectful way to show that they truely care for your opinions.
Unfortunately, there are just a few companys who have understood the importance of this.
Will see myself very soon, if that's the one that could finally send my solo into retirement.
Thanks to @Ed's TnT water tool adapter I will be able to attach my hydra tube, too (which is one of the main reasons why the solo is still my number one)

@mrweed Pls hang in there with me bro, I have every intention of adding them to my site and making them available soon. I just have to kill a few rats first and do a few days outa town but when I'm back the Haze stems and wongs will have my full attention! Thanks for thinking of me and your interest in my work, I wish you well and a great day!

Mr. Weed you are correct on your code. It would not work for the device but last time I checked it worked for accessories. I haven't seen a code anywhere on the device since it launched.

This is still good though because I think folks might want to pick up some extra cans cuz you can use them in so many ways and they really help keep the device clean.

I am also going to buy some extra tweezer/shovel tools to be used with my other vapes. These things are so useful and work well with my other portables. I just love one tool to pick/scrape/whatever and flip to the other side to scoop material and reload. The end is narrow enough where it fits nicely within the diameter of the bowl on most portables so you dump the material directly into the bowl with no mess around the bowl.

People also might be interested in some extra batteries and maybe a car charger if they are going to be out of the house for an extended period. I usually swap my batteries out after four or so sessions because I don't like to run them down to zero (and this thing is fickle about low batteries). You get two in the box but if you think you think you'll be away for an extended time the extra batteries will help.

Mr. Weed if you were to try the Haze I don't think you'd be disappointed. It really is one of the most versatile devices out there (dual bowl/use for wax, oil, herb/multipurpose cans solution/removable batteries) which is really where it stands above a lot of its competition. What's better is it also performs well with these different options. But don't take my word for it, get your own and try it! I look forward to your opinion.

I also want to take a moment to thank Ed @Ed's TnT . Ed is a pleasure to deal with and I have just put my order in for a Wong and backup wood stem. Never tried wood before so I can't wait to see what it adds to the flavor. But like I told Ed, if I don't like the taste I still won't be disappointed. I just love the look if his work and that is worth the price for me! I can't wait to put this beside my Haze and just stare at it all night!

There has been mention on this thread of a WT attachment from Haze themselves. I will also be purchasing one of those to compare but is not fully developed yet (and possibly might not ever make it to market) so I am going with the Ed's now and eventually will have both.

Ean...when I pack my cans I use a fine grind and pack it in relativity tight pressing it down but not jamming it in there like my Pax.

If you've read up on this thread you know that I pack a bunch up at a time to keep me going for a couple weeks at a time (unless I am binging ). I use pretty fresh material that I get it straight from the grower and store it in a CVault.

After a couple days of the material sitting in the cans the herb dries out a bit. Like I said it's tight so I have been experimenting a bit with poking my tweezers in the load to mix it up a bit. Still too early to comment on the effectiveness but the logic for me was to increase airflow through the herb in the can. I will get back on my final thoughts but so far I like this.

Also you probably know that the cans take a bit longer to heat up and get going then the screens do. The updated unit is much faster (more in that later) but there is still a difference.

I have tried multiple methods of drawing before the lights stop blinking to waiting 30-60 seconds after they stop. If you are chasing clouds it will serve you best to wait but I find I can start feeling the affects on the first couple draws either way. I might add that the first four-five draws on the Haze are extremely flavorful and the taste doesn't degrade significantly after that. That popcorn taste you get with a lot of other vapes is not an issue at any point I can recall when using it on temp 3 and only comes around in my experience after a 20+ minute session when you end on level four.

I am not trying to convince you to use the cans. Do what works best for you. I am just trying to share what technique works for my material. Yours may differ which also may be a factor.

Performance differences aside I just love the convenience of the cans for preloading and cleaning. In my experience the performance of the cans v. screens is on par and even if were a little less I still might opt for the cans for the portability and cleaning.

Does the Haze vape bud throughly and uniformly? Do you need to stir the cans to get all the bud to vape? This is one of the most impressive things about the Ascent. No stirring and the whole bowl is completely and uniformly vaped. As you might have guessed I'm trying to decide if the Haze could replace my Ascent. I'm really disappointed that the Ascent doesn't vape wax/oil straight, you can mix it with bud and vape it but not alone. I'm throughly satisfied with the way it vapes bud.

Thorough and uniform abv with no stirring. Nice even brown on setting 3 and dark brown if you go to setting 4.

I had an Ascent and I MUCH prefer this. It's not that the Ascent is bad, it's far from that. I just think all the features of the Haze outweigh the digital temperature control. If Haze added more it would be no contest IMO.
