I couldn't find much research against it but I read a few accounts of people that smoked MJ to alleviate the painful symptoms of Polycystic Kidneys and were quite happy with their decision. That was just a quick google search, I couldn't say with 100% certainty what the true answer is but I also could not find any information about MJ's relation to the worsening of / development of the disease. Wait for some more experienced users to chime in; but I have a feeling you're in the clear

I have had time for it to sink in now and have come to a healthy understanding. I was told I could get kidney failure tomorrow or i could last upto a couple of decades so its scary but better to have been the man with the courage to smile at life then one remembered for mourning his fate. Life is still good today

Hey @technique Very sorry to hear of your diagnoses .
I cant be of much help but I some experience with PCK.
My father had it although he never smoked of vaped .
But my brother also currently has it and is a everyday herb smoker and has been since he was a teenager.
I am trying to get him to switch to vaping ( and to get a med card the idiot ) But as far as I know it has had no effect of his kidneys at all .
