Salutations VaporNation,

Although personally i didn't seek answers actively this is what i was hoping to see on page 1 of the present dedicated FC thread:

1z5nald.jpg

It's on page 3 of the english User Manual linked previously, but i guess it will have to do.

:peace:

Great vid, Vit, but man, the amount you put in that filling chamber would last me a month.

I understand, lwien. My usage and dose exceeds that of many patients.
While I can also fill my PD stem with a pinch, and feel it's effects pleasurably, I also appreciate solid incoming medicine at doses that affect me more seriously.

A half cup of my Cannabutter for example (113 grams) contains the meds from a half ounce of flower.
This is about 14 doses ... 7 grams of butter in each(7 grams of cannabutter holding a grams worth of meds). This is a good dose, that most patients find very satisfying, and often 2 cookies is overpowering to some.
I eat a 25-30 gram chunk of cannabutter in my morning Oatmeal, after my first morning session.

However, I can tell the effect from a tiny pinch and know if it is a strain that will help.

The large amount of meds in the VapirRise basket were twofold....
to demonstrate the capacity (after all 4 people can be hitting this unit at the same time!)
and
I am not just vaporizing to make self feel calm and happy.. I am vaping to inch ahead of the symptoms that would otherwise force me to double up on Narcotic prescription drugs.

The meds you saw in the chamber would:
after 1 hit make me smile....
... after a few hits have me fully medicated
.. and when I finish that entire chamber, on a good day, I can completely
bypass a dose of Diazapam that controls spasticity, and I can often skip the next dose of Breakthrough meds (Oxycodone)

Not sure how many of you own one of these bad boys, but I do and I am more than happy with it. Saw some stuff on here about quality and warranty, and wanted to weigh in:

In terms of design, it's beautiful. If you've ever used or owned a Volcano, you know that it's shaped to fit it's name. Unfortunately, that makes it a bit bulkier than one (me, at least) might like. With the VapirRise, I was pleasantly surprised at the size. Much smaller than you'd imagine from photographs.

The touchscreen is wonderful--just gives it a sense of effortlessness.

Was a bit unhappy with the first bag of vapor, but soon realized that I had the heat too low. You got to try out different temps for different herbs to find the sweet spot, but when you do:  MONEY.

Having the 4 whips option is clutch. Nothing quite like having homies over, and not waiting for the bag to make the rounds.

As for the fan: yes, it's continuous. But that's to keep the herb chamber cool. If you have a Volcano (at least to the best of my memory,) you need to remove the herb chamber between bag fills so the nugs don't burn. With the continuous fan, you don't need to really worry about that. People have complained, but I think they're just basing it off of expectations. Because when you're using it, the last thing on your mind is the fan.

It doesn't do concentrates--but maybe they'll raise the temp capacity in the future. In any case, I'm not doing dabs frequently enough for that to be a deal breaker.

The warranty is a year long, but they try and help you out even after (also own Vapir's NO2, so I've been dealing with them for a minute now.)

tl;dr-- Love my VapirRise. Perfect when I'm just trying to relax and watch some shit, or when I've got people over. Fan keeps the herb chamber cool, pumps the vapor (makes for minimal effort when using the whips thankfully,) and is easily ignored. Vapor is tasty and smooth. And its well designed. Great investment.
u mentioned it DOESNT vape concentrates?! how come it comes w a concentrate chamber and says it will vape concentrates??

I just got my vapir rise today, and I'm having some trouble with it. For starters, it doesn't seem to be heating at all. The first time I got it set it worked fine, but now I'll engage the heat and I'm stuck sitting here watching the temp slowly drop. when it finally does, somehow, heat up, I don't seem to be getting any vapor production at all. I'm using a bag, as the whip seemed to be missing from the box. Anyone have any helpful wisdom? I'd really hate to have to just call this purchase a loss.

If you are using the bag system, make sure the ball-cock valve is open
It has a shut-off to prevent vapor loss.
It is metal (the valve) and if I am not mistaken, it has a sensor that can stop unit if it gets hot and the valve is closed.

I've made sure the valve is open each time, the bag is filling just fine, but with air, not vapor. I've experimented with different fan speeds and temperature settings, but nothing seems to have any effect. Plus, like I said, when it should be heating it seems to be losing heat, I've been searching for a few hours and haven't been able to find any similar reports.

The only time I've had issues like that was when I neglected to open the valve on the bag. If you have checked that, then I would look inside the chamber and make sure it isn't clogged in some way. You know screen gunked up, etc.

Is the heat backlight turning to red (heating) when you press it?

Other than that, I'm out of ideas what the issue could be other than a defective unit.

If the whip is missing its probably an open box, I would guess defective.

On a side note, if your erb isnt completely dry, it can take up to 5 minutes to get thick vapor....in my experience...

It's pretty dry, what worries me is that it will take 5-10 minutes to heat up, if it ever does, and most of that time it's actually cooling off, according to the temperature reading.

Sounds defective, hope you can send it back.

One last thing to double check, make sure the plug is all the way in the unit, mine was going on and off when loose.

Good luck!

i was just wonering, bc i got most my info from u on my DBV since im new to vaping somewhat... if it came down to it for an effient best working vape, would u choose thos vapirise or the dbv? just was curious what ur thoughts might be... thanks i feel like since ive gotten used to my DBV, i def made the right choice in my eyes over 2 vapes i coulda picked in a giveaway i won, the others being the extreme q, or the vapirise, and i went w the cheapes 1, which wa kinda hard to do but maaaan am i glad i did. i dont wanall that digital bs! i mean all that futuristic crap looks coo, but thibk about it, alls that REALLY means is more problems bown the road. w my dbv, its made soo simply, but soo nicely also! VERY sturdy, ijst love the thing, once u get past like that wk learning curve, im glad i picked dbv out of ALL 3! funny i do m research and ended up taken the cheapest one, (not by a whole lot) but what do ya know, its by FAR the best 1 i think i coulda got!

I have difficulty making comparisons, between vaporizers in an FC thread, when it comes to which may better or worse. It just does not feel right to me, unless some glaring manufacture flaw makes a vape obviously a bad choice for a patient or user.
I do make recommendations privately on an individual basis based on special circumstance or need, but unless somehow beneficial to public awareness/education I can not compare.
Each vaporizer made has strengths and each has weaknesses.
I can answer questions about Vapir Rise here.
I was insecure as to whether I would like this vape. I am always skeptical, but I like Vapir in general.
It turned out I enjoy the unit very much!
It has earned a place in my rotation.

Damn, wish I waited a month! I really like version 1 so no complaints. Will give a review soon.

Hey Vitolo, how do you clean yours? What's the best way to clean the whip? Can the bags be cleaned?

Thanks!!

Yeah, the VapirRise is my favorite, and I'm glad that I purchased it. But, the extended temp and fanless option are very tempting. I wonder if it is possible to upgrade the original?
