Firewood Vaporizer

I usually don't have a lot of vapor, but decent effects. This is also my first portable, I have an extreme q for home use to compare it to (I know the firewood won't produce clouds as big as the q).

I would try a minute heat up, then varied draw speeds, I find the FW can hit just as well as the EQ if not better.

Okay, thanks. That's not a dealbreaker but I'm always looking to save bucks. Probably just gonna order an unfinished with a couple accessories (capsules, maybe an extra full mouthpiece and power adapter). I'll probably go with the unfinished maple. I had my eye on walnut, but if I lose a mouthpiece somewhere down the line I'd like it to all match up.

I ordered the walnut with an extra mouthpiece, and the extra mouthpiece is only the glass part, not the wood lid, so I wouldn't let that make your decision for you. The walnut is beautiful and was well worth the extra cost for me. With that said, the only benefit is aesthetic, so if cost saving is more important, definitely go for the unfinished.

I see Dude. My dugout was walnut, and I've got many memories with it :spliff: I ended up springing for a finished maple in the end (it matches the floors and furniture in my house). Also, the pictures on the front page of the Firewood site of the maple were beautiful. Love the pool table pic. No doubt the walnut is on par.

Hello folks, it's my first post here!
I will buy the firewood 2.1 (unfinished) probably beginning of October, but my question is knowing what accessories are worth to buy with it?
Is 1/3 extra capsule worth it? what about the maple mouthpiece?
What is the difference between the charger and the power supply adapter?

So, to help you answer, my consumption isn't high, i would say i smoke 1gr or 2 per month, and maybe like 5 gr for holiday period just after the exams.

And i apologize for my English and the mistakes in the writing.

Have a good day, and thx in advance for your precious answers guys!

I think 3 capsules are more worth it but one would be really nice at least. You just wouldn't want your capsule to break leaving you without options.

Power supply will not charge but will provide usage if your device has no juice.

I don't think you'd need an extra mouthpiece, the only thing I've needed to replace are capsules.

thx a lot for your message, are capsule easely breakable?
I cannot decide between buying 1 or 3!

And what is the purpose of the Mouthpiece Glass and Wire Filter Cap?

I have only broken mine from modding but have had so many accidents where the capsule could have slid out of the Firewood and fell my wooded floors. I would go for three. Losing or breaking one would make using the vape a little more difficult/impossible (for some) and it would be demotivating to want to continue using it.

Backups in case you lose or break the original. I don't think they are really needed until it happens.

It it matters at all to anyone I put a Solo screen I got from puffitup in the mouthpiece's hole and just removed the wire cap, no airflow gets reduced and I can move the screen for loading bowls directly in the mouthpiece for even smaller bowls.

Just to chime in with a different idea, I got the Firewood specifically to use with a smoke buddy jr. at concerts. I bought the three extra capsules so that I could load four capsules, with one in the chamber and three wrapped in foil in a carry tube. Worked beautifully. Easy to use and change out capsules without drawing attention.

I like doing the same, but with an UD tube to hold the stems and UD cords to plug the chambers.

So does anyone use concentrates in the 2.1? If so, what is your set up?

Also, is the power adapter worth it for anyone who purchased it? I'm considering getting it for a little extra power while connected to a water piece for possibly more milky rips

Here's what I have done,

Place cotton inside mouthpiece, then place spring back with it holding the cotton so you don't inhale it up.

Place cotton on screen of chamber

Place dab either on the center outer tip of spring or if you're accurate enough place on the cotton in the chamber.

I place my chamber and mouthpiece together before sliding the FW over.

It looks like I could just apply the oil on its heater as it glows red in less than 15 seconds but that sounds like an uncleanable mess.

Solo is easier to pull clouds, Firewood will require patience to master.

Firewood can extract quicker and works better with smaller loads but its harder to get the same size clouds.

I love the FW but suggest starting with the Solo its just pure simplicity.

My FW bowl sizes are always under .1g, while Solo is exactly .1 or .05g above.
