Can't remember who pointed it out, or if it was several that did, but regardless....thanks for pointing out the Arizer Q screen baskets work perfectly in the minivap for a fraction of the price of the 'originals'.

I received my MiniVAP from Vapornation today! I will most likely post a more detailed review after spending some more time with this little baby but I am initially very impressed. My kit included a flexicone and a flexicone +, and I have successfully used the MiniVAP three different ways so far (hard mouthpiece, flexicone + w/ glass mouthpiece, Ion Matrix). I was very pleasantly surprised to find that Vapornation also included an A/C adaptor in addition to a battery! This makes the "MINI" code a really unbeatable deal, comparable to the Cloud EVO massdrop deal.

It's really knocking my socks off. The vape signature is wonderful, providing both immediate and long lasting effects. And the taste... wow. The dry hits through the flexicone + w/ glass mouthpiece are providing what is probably the most pure flavor I have ever experienced. Hits through water are also brilliant. I love the clean and modular design of this vape... it's clearly very well thought out and seems to be very well built as well.

Thrilled with the purchase so far. This thing has got to be the finest portable on the market by a large margin and it's performance actually rivals that of the high end desktops. This makes it totally unique. I've only had the MiniVAP for a day but I'm kind of shocked that it is as obscure as it is. Should definitely get more love on this forum. Thank you all

I really think it's the price tag .
When I first saw the MV , it was priced at aprox. $ 800 .
For a portable ? That's the price for a high end desk top .
Now I was hoping the cost would depreciate after a couple of years
on the market .

I have P-VAS !
So with the ' Mini ' code ,
It's $ 349 at Vapornation ?

The thing is, this thing could easily serve as a desk top. No problem. Not to be rude, please understand where I am going here, but would you be more comfortable paying for it if it had a large plastic enclosure and required that you plug it into an electrical outlet? It's almost like the fact that it is portable somehow takes away from it's perceived value, when in fact it is a huge bonus.

I think I remember when it was $1K? I agree that this device has been prohibitively expensive (for me anyway) for years. I honestly never thought I would own or even try one. However I just paid less than $400 for a new one, which is cheaper than the top desktop units. No regrets here so far

Agreed 100 % .
I was replying to why it might still be obscure on FC ... the OG price tag .

I currently use my Solo as a plug in at home , and saw the same benefits
with the MV . But from $1K to less than $400 is quite the discount/sale .
And hopefully the latest version , minus all the teething problems .

By all accounts and testimonies , the MV is a step up from
the Solo . I just hope the vapornation sale will still be on when my next
paycheck arrives ....

Hello together, I am completely new to this forum. I just bought my new minivap portable and in the delivery there was missing the adaptor to use the vaporizer with electricity without the battery. I spoke with the guy from Vaposhop who ensured me that it is ok and the manufacturer do not include the adaptor. May I ask you, is it true? To me it sound rather strange not to have the possibility to use the machine plugged in to electricity without battery.

Here's my improvised solution for using the MiniVAP through glass:

DKuqJdt.jpg

I just used what I had lying around (14mm whip adapter and a tiny section of MFLB whip). Just slid the little bit of MFLB whip onto the adapter and pressed the small end of the flexicone into the other end of the whip. seems to be a perfect seal and works like a charm. it makes it really easy to make sure you have a good seal between the flexicone and the heater

I tried this setup with just a 14mm jhook last night on the pink heat setting... wow such flavor. hit after hit of clean and citrusy goodness.

if this thing proves reliable, I think I could be happy with it as my only vaporizer. it's much better than I had expected. my EVO is giving me a funny look right now

You didn't get an adapter/charger? You should have gotten one with either the portable or the AC version. If you did get a charger, then you're not missing anything.

I believe most MiniVAPs are sold either with the battery (called the MiniVAP "portable") or the adapter (called the MiniVAP "single"), but usually not both. I don't think you got ripped off.

I received both with my MiniVAP but after doing some more reading, I think that was a mistake on the part of the vendor! got lucky

X2. One version comes with only the battery and charger. The other version comes only with AC adapter which I call the AC puck 'cause it looks like a hockey puck.
kimura lucked out and accidentally got both.

At this price it should come with both but does not. The AC puck looks like it should cost $6.99 but miniVAP is mighty proud of all their accessories = priced too high

Thanks, I was quite unsure. Just tried it and it works really good, maybe I`ll use it more than my old Volcano.

If the $65 MiniVAP Charger (listed under accessories) charges the battery AND runs the unit on AC, it seems like buying the cheaper AC version plus a battery would be the way to go. Or is the ac adapter that comes with the 'Single MIniVap' a different version that won't charge the battery?

Pardon me if I'm asking something that's already been answered. I can't keep up with all the vape threads anymore.

there is a MiniVAP charger ($65), a base ($65), a battery ($109), and an adapter ($66). you need the charger and the base to charge the battery. you also need the charger to use the adapter (don't need the base). so you need the charger no matter what, and you cannot run the MiniVAP directly off the charger without using the adapter.

the prices on these accessories are insane

I must have lucked out also because my Vapornation MiniVap came with AC puck along with charging base.

That explanation is clear yet I still find myself confused. Seems like they like to make things confusing.

They also leave you :hmm: over what you need in order to 'upgrade' to the portable.

When I first saw the MiniVap on-line years ago, it was priced at $1000. Obviously a lot cheaper now, they still want too much $ for me.
