@THC SCIENTIFIC how do you recommend using the donut? I put in some wax and ran it for awhile but didn't get any vapor or taste anything much. Do I need to use a lot of wax? Soak the wick? I'm just worried about using too much since the hole in the middle goes straight through it.

Which vape are you using? And what batteries? How much was loaded to start with?

@SamuraiSam thanks for the support and kind words.

@TommydCat yes that pin is like a fuse, with the 71 being break proof it actually damaged lots of older Persei's so we have to change it a consumable. Plus the fact that people had to adjust it every once in a while.

We are thinking of bringing back the 71 bottom adapters and just using the 74 center sleeve. Not sure yet.

And for the rest a great man once said "because it was there"

Hi everybody, im looking for my first concentrate vape. I have read from page 750 to 900, still going on. But I feel ripe to ask and clarify what would be best for me. There is a promo ending soon as well..

I want the most options I can get. I thought the 8 was it, untill I read it wouldnt be comptatible witht the iris :( Less options for on the go (I think the core replaces an iris at home if I understand correctly). So im I better with a persei?

Are the hercules comming back in stock soon?

I never had any vape pen, but I want to start with the quality equipement aka W9 UpTech. I feel it will enhace greatly my shatter vaping exp compared to vaping it in my solo.

If you are asking if the 8 bottom tube will fit the iris v1 the answer is yes. In fact that is what I am using right now. Matches my bottom 8 battery tube perfect. The logo does not match however but no big problem for me for such convenience and freedom. The iris v1 is stainless steel, with the polished finish 8 looks awesome. And yes a core can adjust voltage settings just like the iris. In my opinion you are better off with the 8. No voltage dead zone with the 8 mechanical top.

It's aluminum frame.

I was using the hammer top on the core at 3.7. I wasn't sure how to load it. I filled up the the middle with wax and breathed in until it melted into the wick. I never got vapor though, I'm guessing I need more wax. I think I may have blasted it with 7.4v for a split second, I'm worried I broke something.

Split second blast at 7.4 could damage it but if it fires at 3.7 it's still good. Do this load about .2 and just bump up the voltage to 3.9 and go have fun.

Is there any more 510 threaded okeanos? Also any plans for a 7.4 globe or doughnut?

No on the Okeanos and yes on the donut, the original 100 was a test run only to see customer feedback, but a 7.4v version will be available by end of the year.

Balls, I broke it. Old globe coil still works, fired the donut at 3.9v for over a minute and wax just melted a little. Oh well, I'll order another one soon.

You know you can rebuilt a kiss cart inside right ?

Just saying it's our universal body that it's using AO you can also order the rebuild kit and as well as a new donut when we have em available.

@THC SCIENTIFIC ~ I tried to use the "compare products" feature on your website, but it really does not reveal much differences between your models. Do you have any easily readable charts that show the specs and features of each, something that would be digestible to compare at a glance? I am overwhelmed by all the different vapes and options on your site.

In the end, I think I will likely end up with the 8. On top of the purchase of the unit, what else do I need to add to my cart? What size and how many batteries do you use in this one?

so i ghetto rigged up a water tool to the herc. it wasn't even a good setup and i achieved the nail size hits i've been looking for. the herc gets the vapor too warm before my hit is that sized but water filtration fixes it and the herc is quite capable of keeping up with my lungs. as soon as i can afford it i'll be picking up a more appropriate water tool. suggestions? portable size is a plus but honestly the water tool would likely almost never leave the house. the nibbler tempts me as a potentially portable piece though.

seriously the only reason i continue to use it without water is that using what i put together is an colossal pain in my ass. the entire thing is held together with mid-grade bubble hash which i tend to use as glue.

Do the globes not get as hot as the kiss carts? I just got home to my brand new 8, brand new AW 18650s, and a 3.7v kiss globe... But vapor production is weak. Any advice?

IME the Globe takes a bit longer to heat up. I had an issue with my 8 that was similar. I went to the instructions and took it apart to see its guts.:science: What fixed it for me was to adjust the center contact (2 small gold threaded collars. Mine needed to be adjusted up ever so slightly to make better contact.

@Hashassin the Herc mouthpiece fits into a 18mm female Gong. The flat mouthpiece that comes with the Nibbler xL fits an 18mm even better. I had success using it like this, but it doesn't like to be upside down so much when it is hot.

Edit:
Same concept except with a Herc whip adaptor.
(Sorry, the slo-mo is excruciating in this video.)

When used upside down the Herc leaks its oil very easily. If you want to connect it to a bubbler using silicone tubing is nearly as ideal as using a Nibbler XL... Core + Core 18350 insert+ 8 top + Any attachment = Unlimited voltage control.

I rebuilt one of my KISS Globe coils today for 7.4v operation. You can see in the picture that it is much the same idea as the regular KISS cart. The only two parts missing from the picture are the center pin and insulator which are similar in function as the regular KISS. These are actually easier to rebuild IMO than the others because the center pin sits on top of the insulator and the housing rather than almost nested inside. Also a nice pair of clean cut snips are a great help because they tend to leave a blunt end rather than a point on the wire.(http://www.amazon.com/Hakko-CHP-170-Maximum-Cutting-Capacity/dp/B00FZPDG1K/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1411922617&sr=8-1&keywords=Chp-1 You can see the broken wire on the old coil.

No matter how I adjust the center pin, I still get weak hits from my 8 top. But I put the same cart and battery on my double top, and it hits much better.
However, that being said, I still can't seem to get the kiss globe coil glowing hot, even if I try.
Kinda confused... medicated, and confused. I've never had so much problem with a w9 cart of any kind.
