Vapor Sloth
Just reading the thread I found these:
As for vaporizing in the dark, try to use your hearing senses more in this case. You will notice that the whistling sound is not just caused by how hard you draw, but it also has to be quite centered in the opening of the intake stem to cause the sound.
One thing I would like to comment on about your review. The "WHISTLE SOUND" you mention. That whistle is indicating that the airflow has a lot of turbulence. From our research and experience, the turbulence is great for CONVECTION vaporizing. Turbulence agitates and scrubs the compounds to be vaporized. This equals more cloudy heavy hits.

I don't really hear any "whistle" per say but a slight change in the sound of the torch. Nothing like my ss vg bat and a Bic that'll have the dogs barking every time you try to take a hit.

Edit; That said I've old ears that have been subjected to a lot of abuse with way to many loud concerts and shows, years of playing Bass and shooting large firearms so the higher tones may be lost on me. I have shared the Daisy with a number of people half my age who never mentioned hearing a whistling sound at all. I'll make sure to ask about it next time.

My fluid mechanics said the whistle implies orthogonal/heat flowing through the tiny hole, which sure has been designed.

Oh yeah they all whistle as the manufacturer said, the airflow organized resulting the sound make the cream we love for sure.

Tested and aproved

Ive been enjoying daisy for a good week now, and its been quite an adventure. Here we go...

I dont think that i have ever had more fun with a single vape. Its comical and brilliant to take her apart, and try to understand the complex simplicities that make daisy tick. She reminds me of a childs toy, so innocent and sweet. Like lemonade, on a hot summer day. maybe a beach and a sexy bikini... But daisy doesn't wear a bikini.. Oh no!.there aren't any tricks up her sleeve and shes got nothing to hide from you. She is the beautiful loving innocent being who came into this world naked in oil covered walnut, and who we look upon with awe and wonder. You wont find her in the shed banging your ex or pouring bleach on the neighborhs lawn. shes that gal you just get, and shes not gonna disapoint! and she sure dont need any manuals or special acessories. And that Macys one day only sale has no affect on daisy...you can relax knowing shes not going to open a new line of credit for 10% off a pair of shoes.. shes always available,.. and when you need her sweet suculant vapor, and you come drooling and leave OH so satisfied.. Like after a nice day of chopping wood. Uhmmm..?.. I digress..

And then you add some sweet marry jane and kapoww! Dense thick vapor that hits hard. The whistle is the key, as mentioned many times. Simple amd easy to use and understand how she functios. No butane taste or negative effects. Just the power of love that keeps me coming back like a lone puppy dog wanting more. Oh daisy, sweet daisy, her beautiful vapors always in bloom.

More serious stuff later :p

A classic "Nah na nah na nah.......".
Minutes after I ordered, a visiting patient from another city tried from my computer to order the same, and it was too late.
I felt badly about that, so I hooked him up with like value in herbal matter to use when his Daisy arrives.
I am anxious to try the Daisy.
I want to whistle too!

hey guys I'm owner of a Daisy as well and I just had this crazy idea for a water rig. The hole where the mouth stem is in is almost big enough for a pinnacle watertool or something of the likes with same diameter to place in ;). It just needs a little sanding to make it fit on the top snugg.
The outer rim where the O-ring is placed in is deep enough so that you can sand it and still make it fit with the O-ring and the Original mouthstem. It is an idea haven't set anything into motion yet(a bit scared that I will ruin Daisy) but this might be something to get on for @TriiKLe :) to experiment with. Just wanted to share.

Btw I wanna thank Triikle for making Daisy She rocks!! She is definitely every bit as strong as my Sublimator. It makes me wonder why i even have it (except for some sublimate once in a while). It is easy, fast to use no waiting times and packs a punch. enough said!! Anyway they both have there place in my life.
Daisy is more versatile!

Thx @TriiKLe!!!

Volute of Vapor
I got mine from the vip link on Trihouse website, so it was 120 (free shipping) and it's still a very good deal, I never thought I payed too much!

Some days ago I made a little comparison between my Daisy and my VG, I loaded them with my better flower (here the no threading daisy win a bit, easier to load and unload), there is a big size difference and for stealth the VG wins.
Both heat up very quick, it depends the flame size but you can get clouds in 1s if you want but I prefer a 3-4s technique to preserve taste, both uses the same technique.
but for the taste the Daisy wins, the longer vaporpath helps to get a fresh vapor, VG's vapor is a bit harsher in comparison and taste faster as abv.
With my VG the load is done after 8-10 draws (with stirring), I can get a lot more hits from my daisy with lot of stirring, it's more conservative for herbs, imho!

Hello everyone: Just wanted to chime in with my thoughts on Daisy. I wrote a brief review earlier but I feel like I just gotta shout out loud how much I love this vape! Daisy is indeed a GREAT deal for 120 bucks and anyone riding the fence on this one should just go ahead and treat themselves. That's about the only vape of the seven or so that I have which I would say that for too. No qualifications whatsoever, you will love Daisy. The special vapor she produces, which Mr. @steama so appropriately termed "cream" will get you blazed with one good hit! It is the ultimate fast hitting vaporizer. Equivalent to any bowl you may have smoked out of in the past. And you can watch the show as the vapor shoots through the tube in spurts as you tap and release the carb. Also, FWIW, my cat loves the smell of Daisy vapor! She comes rubbing against my leg when I'm exhaling Daisy clouds but doesn't bother to interrupt naptime when I'm using any of my other vapes. I have noticed this enough times now to see a pattern, so if you don't take it from me, take it from Ms. Lille Pumpkin! Seriously though, I have to echo what was said above: this is hands down the best vape purchase I have ever made. (And I, too, could have taken a pass on about three others if I would have gotten this one first).

I just upgraded to this torch:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Regal-MT-10...492?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item35c75bea8c

And it's the bomb. Metal not plastic and super easy to line up with Daisy's stem. I highly recommend it for the serious Daisy enthusiast!

Excellent tip, G Hog! The torch that came with my Daisy started giving me problems, so I've been using that one that looks like a small gun, but it's too small for my hands, and I have to pull my fingers back to use it, which is kind of a pain in the ass. I think I'll pick up one of these to try out.

@lwien: Arizer EQ(all modded out--I seem to recall you from years of commenting on the EQ page,no?), Hot Box Vaporizer, Vaporblunt 2.0 w/ double shower head and star perc water tools, Davinci Ascent, Flowermate Vapormax 5.0, VB Palm, VB Palm 2.0...... and I just won a Vapman on Ebay for 86 bucks shipped (Mica model)! It was my experience with Daisy which completely helped me let go of all my preconceptions about lighter based vapes and after seeing what other Daisy fans had to say about the Vapman I pulled the trigger. It'll be my go to portable if it works out for me while Daisy has largely replaced all of the other vapes I listed (even though I am very happy with many of them--I just love Daisy that much more!) for home use .

One thing that has really been working out for me is taking a huge hit off Daisy, stirring and taking another hit then saving the herb and using it to blow bags in the EQ. I feel like I get every possible bit of goodness out of the herb and there's very little popcorn or burnt taste even though the final EQ extraction is so thorough. So it's the best possible scenario for a weed miser like myself: two mind melting Daisy hits that are as magically delicious as a bowl of Lucky Charms, then a delicious bag of EQ vapor off the same stuff.

Also I have had great success dropping a little ball of bubble hash right in the center of Daisy's bowl. The milky hits are incredibly dense that way. I also put a tiny scoop of kief on top sometimes if I want to turbocharge a hit. So again, to all those potential buyers who are looking for a fast way to medicate, there you go. If the kids are playing upstairs, or the in-laws are in town and you gotta work fast, just add a dash of something extra to the top of the bowl and one hit can really and truly do you the way--at least for me!

And to the poster above who was talking about hooking up a water tool: I've pondered this at length as well! Let us know how it works out if you take the plunge. The only thing that might improve Daisy would be some sort of water pipe ability.
