Vaporbrothers VB2

Hi there Everyone,

I wanted to stop by and post some fun stuff. However I'm am so sorry to hear about some of the recent heater problems people are having. Rest assured youve got Vapor Brothers attention and hopefully your receiving the same A+ service I'm used to experiencing. Know that there is positive CeramFam vibrations being sent to you from the Captain. You'll be obliterating all types of high-end concentrates soon my friends.

Me and VB2 #61 have been getting a lot if travel as of late. First the Beast Coast Secret Cup than a quick trip up north to relax. Now just back from the Boston Freedom Rally and NORML VIP party. So many of the Industry folks LOVED trying the VB2. One of my favorite parts of sharing the This little unit is the ah ha moment when smart people get just how easy it is. I've turned newbs into dab masters In Seconds. At the party on Saturday night in Boston after about an hour and a half of tending the VB2 and hitting off different patients I left an extremely well-known notable figure, an executive board member of normal to man the VB2 station. At one point I looked up from hitting my buddies H Nail and saw him with delight describing how to hit the DVB2 to his friends. I'm telling you guys this unit just brings people together!

Well that's all for now I'm working on a few neat things so I'll keep you posted. Hang In There CeramFam!

I'm proud to say I've just joined the CeramFam! Since recently gaining access to concentrates, I decided to bypass the entire torch and nail method and go right for this beast. Following the sage advice of my fellow FC members, having friends who rave about VaporBro's support, and combined with my love of the bleeding-edge of any technology, I took the plunge. VaporWarehouse had this thing on my doorstep in no time.

Having only experienced concentrates via vape pens up til now, I don't have a whole lot to compare, but WOW does the VB2 work flawlessly!!! It worked wonders with some amazing Blue Dream shatter I picked up from a local caregiver—rendering my friend and me (both experienced vaporists) giddy like we were kids smoking our first joint!

The device is actually smaller than I pictured, has a good weight and feels like a very solid build. The knob feels heavy-duty, and all attachments fit securely. The medium setting provided decent results, but was leaving remnants on the dish. Once I kicked it up to high, the vapor came quicker and thicker, and the dish completely cleaned itself on every run. The inner walls are (not surprisingly) already showing signs of use, but it looks like it will be easy to clean. The automatic shut-off timer kicked in once, but no need to turn it back on as we were ALL SET!

So... Bravo VaporBrothers! Congratulations on giving birth to a monster—the VB2!!!

Congratulations and welcome to the CeramFam@Scrimshaw so happy to read your post!

May I say wonderful 1 st post on the VB2. Not wanting to play around with my fire was a reason I opted for the VB2. My friends who love their nails seem to love hitting my VB2 when I'm around so... Know that the VB2 to also works fantastic with good old school bubble hash. Just an FYI.

So happy the Ceramfam is growing!!!!! Come join the fun!

Wooks young and old agree this is the droid you've been looking for!

So nice to have my VB2 back in the house . . . From the searing heat on my hands to the power and the glory behind my eyes I do love this device . . . :luv:

Great experience with @vaporbrothers customer service taking care of everything super quickly, the whole thing including shipping was 9 days end to end. Their attention to detail was incredible as I spoke with several folks, even an engineer, and was able to communicate my wishes for adjustments which was fantastic. Everyone was pleasant to work with as they seem to truly care.

All in all an awesome experience . . .

Wait LESS than a year, hopefully much less. Kick my ass to get it done please. We have to build a bigger next batch and reorganize the kit to trim the costs. I want to make a new basic kit that comes with the bare minimum to get vaporizing. You'd get our standard warranty and have the choice to buy additional warranty protection, such as the accident protection that comes with the higher priced unit. :)

With @Captain Comply taking on VB2 as his mission to share with as many movers & shakers as possible we're scrambling to keep improving and expanding!!

The latter.
That would be one helluva battery pack!

When checking the watts with a kill a watt I found the vb2 is under 100w so an inverter from dc to ac will work for cordless. Soon as my unit returns I will definitely see if it works on my vans outlet. I wonder with an inverter if I could use an 18v tool battery ?

Edit: I also have 12v batteries that run my kids electric riding cars at 5mph for hours on a charge. Not the smallest things but a bag for the battery and inverter and a bag for the vb2 would make it a go anywhere device, lol.

My feeling is that would work, but would eat power rapidly, if it was planned on for a continuous use, or long term.
It would get you an hour of dabs I am sure.
Sure would be cool to bring the vb2 out to the camp fire without the 200 feet of extension cord! A car battery should be good at 100w for 6hrs until dead or 3 hrs to 50% discharge. I will have to look into these smaller 12v to compare.

All this thinking of running the vb2 off of batteries has got me thinking, shit all I want is my vb2 to run off an outlet! Lol. Missing her a great deal. I am no a amateur to a torch and nail, 80% of the time my nail dabs are dead on, it's that other 20% of the time that haunts me. The VB2 gets things consistent dab after dab after dab, no drama, no fuss. The lack of having the vb2 the last two weeks has made it cut and dry, I prefer the vb2 over a torch and a nail, it is just that good. Now I can only hope it works for more then 2.5 weeks this time, lol.

Vito where did you get your custom stem? How did yoh put the stem on if it isn't custom?
If you mean this one:

I got it from VaporBrothers. It is a 10mm ground glass joint. (with ground glass lip space, to prevent "lip crust")

It's the Direct Draw Straw with the 10mm ground taper. A bunch of VB2 accessories are available online now. See the VB2 Parts page on Vapor Warehouse.
NICE!
This is what I like to see.
You guys done good.
Fair pricing for well made glass.... and this is well made.

I recommend for any user these essentials for versatility.
Not including the "consumable" goods, such as tubing and inserts...
that page has everything that anyone using VB2 could wish to perform Waxy Vapor Magic in any configuration possible.
Disclaimer:
  • Don't be a little prick and try to outthink this claim. When I say any configuration I mean within reason.
  • By "within reason", I mean you would have to use a small 14/18 adapter to use a hydro-tube, or water tower. If you are that whacky that you want to do that balancing act while doing a dab, this vaporist would request a sneak peak at the video of that action!;)
I love the VB2 Parts page guys!
Again... That whole page... every item gets my thumb a flyin'

Should I wash my ceramic pads before I use them because I didn't. Please no one use this unit on high without water. Instant death.

Without water... You mean "with water" right... Any water droplet on the heater is instant crack. Heat it up only when all parts are dry.

I don't think you need to wash the ceramic pads but you surely could- water or iso. Seems nothing gets them cleaner though than running the unit on high. As it heats up fingerprints and other stuff may turn black on the surface. But eventually everything burns off the surface until it's pure white again.
