L.A. People - Dispensary Question

Hey All you Los Angeles area FCers

I had a question about Cornerstone Collective .

Is it that different from anywhere else ?

I have been to many Dispensaries (mostly in the SFV )over the years and find not much difference . Well yeah there have been some sub par shops and some just bad ones , but for the most part they are all about the same to me .
There are aesthetic difference and different menus and yes some just have bad quality products . But once you find a few good ones nothing stands out .

I have heard good things about Cornerstone Collective here on FC and am thinking about going there But it is about a 45 min drive (on a good day ) from me and just want to know if it is worth it .
Are the people there more informed (that the general stoner bud tender ) Are the meds that much better .

One thing I see on their website is that they almost always have some high cbd strains available and that is one reason to go . I am also interested in some of the tinctures etc ... But not sure I cant get that somewhere closer .

Also if you have a place you love to go or just want to post your Dispensary experience feel free.

To all the non LA of CAL. people out there , I don't mean to complain and I am very lucky to live in a place where I have easy access to my meds . I am just looking for the best and most informed experience I can have .

Sorry I'm a bit south of you. Perhaps @ataxian can suggest a good place? I think he's closer to your neck of the woods. I'd suggest thegoddessdelivers.com (they are in Santa Barba and deliver all over) but apparently their website is down and their weedmap contact info is off-line.

Thanks I am actually ok with the places I go I just thought this place (Cornerstone Collective) might be special in some way .

I have heard of thegoddessdelivers.com but have not checked it out . I will do so now !

I've been to many LA dispensaries and for me, nothing compares to CRC, especially if you are using MJ to address medical issues. I know of no other dispensary that keeps records of how each strain helps to alleviate specific symptoms from each of their customers and than passes that knowledge onto other customers.

The most knowledgeable and professional staff in the business that I have seen and the quality of their bud is beyond reproach.

Regarding atmosphere, it is not set up to look like a stoners party den nor is it set up to look like Trader Joes, but it is set up to look like a medical dispensary which again, is totally in line with what they offer.

I guess it would also be helpful to know if you're looking for edibles, flowers, or concentrates since it's been my experience that dispensaries specialize in different areas like these. At least here in San Diego County I've found it best to go to specific places based on the type of medicine you want.

I assume CRC is Cornerstone (sorry kinda slow today !) If it is I am going today !

Edit Called them and found out that it is CRC .
now I just hope they accept me !

I agree @Caligula I find the same thing here .
I am usually just looking for flowers .

When you go in, ask for Morpheus or by his real name, Michael. He's the guy that created it and owned it up until just a few years ago. If he happens to be there, pick the hell out of his brain. He loves to share his knowledge. Also, just by asking may help you get a membership.

If ya go there and they accept your membership, do me a favor and let me know if they have any Kilimanjaro (African Landrace Sativa) in stock. I LOVE that strain. Hasn't made an appearance in a few years though.

Great. I hope I haven't over-hyped CRC for ya and built your expectations up too much but if ya can, can ya report back your experience there as well as that strain request?

I always go with low expectations (everywhere ) So if its good it will be that much better .!
Haven't heard yet and my have to work so might not get there until the weekend.
But i will post my findings here .

Just got the call Going at 2pm tomorrow .
Now to watch that video

Sorry for the Double post but they are a day apart !

So I checked out Cornerstone collective and it was my best collective experience yet .
Cool people and they actually took notes about what I was there for .
Some very good looking herb too.
The most clinical experience I have had if you are looking for that .
Little bit more expensive then where I usually go but it was worth it . Its a long drive for me but I will defiantly go back .

Now back to the new stuff with my new Nano!

One of the things I like the most about CRC is the fact that if you find a strain that works for you, chances are they will have it back in the rotation at some time in the near future (except of course the elusive Kilimanjaro or Blue Oly) there are so many strains they carry for years, I'm sure you will find more than one for your condition, and the quality, wow! consistent and always top notch.

My favorite dispensary, CRC, just started selling UnderDog vaporizers. Sooooo nice to see this.
