JyARz Storage Containers

stay true to yourselves
I properly got my Jyarz out of the house this week, they've been to quite a few places with me and they are great. I use a large green Satchmo for my ABV and i've got 3 of the small jyarz in rotation for my favourite strains. Great to open and use every few minutes, and also great for long-term storage!
Love these things. 10/10

How 'bout a MD for just a Chico & Satchmo?

At the moment I have plenty of the regular ones, but would like to get a few of the new ones. Just a thought...:)

Checking the box again today for a direct order placed on the 28th.
How long does it typically take for orders to arrive to domestic customers?

I would have thought it be here by now...

Right. I passed on that because I have a classic and didn't really need another. I want to get a Satchmo but the $22 buy in is putting me off. I get that they are worth it and probably the best jars out there, but I haven't bought a SCS for the same reason. I'm sure I'll get one (a satchmo, not as sure about SCS) but I may wait until it is discounted somewhere. If I had local buddies interested I would just order 6 at a more manageable price, but I don't so I can't. I'm not in a huge hurry.

Yes but that $22 will buy you a product which will most likely last you forever barring loss or catastrophic accident. Its not a consumable or overly fragile item by any means and it's made to last.

Besides, on top of all that, it's an amazing product and we'll worth the price IMO.

Yep, I'm sure you are right. I have a classic, so I do get it. It's a great product. It just costs a little more than I am willing to spend for another container. For most of the last many years I carried herb around in a film can. That gave me none of the protection or security of Jyarz, but it worked fine. ;)

Love the blues! Nice choice!
Also @JyARz I emailed you regarding the tracking info a few days ago :)

I presume we took care of you?!
Mine just arrived. Completely exceeded my expectations!
The plastic, the packaging, the secure tightness of the lid, the jars themselves, the gaskets.. the vibrancy of the colour.
10/10 in all areas.
Thank you to this company, I am 100% satisfied :) You have a lifetime customer!

With my EVO I would just suck up the herb from my Jyarz into an ELB. With my herbalizer I have to tap out the herb into the magnetic bowl. This makes me wish I had some jyarz that were about 20 percent less wide because it would tap out much better into the magnetic bowl without spilling. It can't be too much thinner because the herb is sticky and it would clump together too much making it hard to dump out.

EDIT: Mine had metal shavings in the swivel. I just kept moving the tools back and fourth under water until I had no more shavings. Havent had a problem since.

I have this same tool but it is still another tool i have to use. I am just trying to tap it out into my bowl. If I am careful I can tap it out without spilling but I have to be really careful so I always end up spilling a bit and having to pinch back up into the bowl.

I have a black classic JyAR which I've been using for several weeks now and it's hands-down the best storage option I've used for small nugs and/or ground herb. The original glass core I received had a minor imperfection around the lip (a small dip). Aldo immediately told me he would get it replaced. Even though I offered to return the original, he told me to just keep it, which was unexpected and very nice of him. Great customer service. The replacement glass core took a few weeks to arrive (international post), but, as expected, it was perfect.

Unlike some of my other storage containers, I have not been able to detect any odours escaping from the JyAR. It really does seem to be 100% airtight. I have also successfully tested its water-proof capabilities.

I also accidentally dropped it from about 6ft onto concrete (and then kicked it down the road as I unsuccessfully tried to cushion the fall with my foot). It survived totally unscathed bar a tiny blemish on the outside plastic sleeve.

I can definitely highly recommend the JyAR. Both my MedTainer (good, but all plastic) and Tight Vac (not very good and all plastic) have gone into early retirement.

.

I have noticed that over time my Jyarz have more of a smell with them if you get right up close to them. A human with a sensitive nose or a dog would easily be able to detect it. I believe this is due to the fact that bits of herb get caught in the plastic screw threads from repeated taking the lid on and off. I think a good cleaning of this would eliminate this tiny bit of smell but it is something to be aware of. Has anyone else noticed this on a Jyarz they had been using for months without cleaning the plastic?

I would very much appreciate it.

I've noticed small small amounts of (herbal) material build up on the threads and get crushed/flake off from use. Would be good to give it a good clean if planning on traveling with them.

I believe any odor you detect is the result of product getting in the threads and from "surface contact." Which from my perspective isn't really a flaw in the product. A thorough cleaning, I would put in a dishwasher (take it all apart first), should do the trick. Or an alcohol wash.

"MD"? I'm not sure what you mean? Please expand on it.

He's referring to Massdrop. I agree that a lot of us have plenty of the regular size and it would be great for a combo deal of some sort to get both of your new sizes out in the market. It was said that there wasn't enough votes for the Chico on MD, but I'd bet that you'll see different results if you run your own poll.

Ask and you shall receive!

I've been waiting to turn this new feature on, this exchange convinced me that the time has come.

Now you can receive discounts up to 25% off when you purchase more than one of our products. What's different is that the discounts now apply "across" products. So if you combine more than one product (Classic, Satchmo and Chico) the discount will apply. Previously the discount only applied when you bought more than one Classic, or more than one Satchmo or more than one Chico. Now if you buy a Classic and a Chico or Satchmo the discount will apply. You can pair any products for these discounts.

Make sense?
