It's the OG D020-D but the can should be the same size. The 187 is taller but has a slightly narrower chamber.
The GB-187 will hold 1/4C more volume of vapor.
It would actually be nice to see the NEW D-020-D in between the OLD D-020-D and the GB-187 to complete the collection, and even perhaps the Ion next to the GB-187

I was looking at buying the YQ-42 from Sunshine. I looks like it has ice notches from the pictures but can't tell. It looks like the mouth piece is really narrow so was wondering from anyone who owns it if you could fit ice.

Just purchased this, going to try a hookah style setup with this as it has two upward joints (love the modular design). Vape on one end standing up, OGB whip attachment + silicone whip on the other.
edit: oops now I will have two of these. My order from americanglassstudio did finally end up coming in. Was way more $ but it is cuter with a little turtle in it
Oh and less diffusion.

Its extremely slow moving for what I an used to. It left a place 90min away 2:45pm and hasn't been scanned since. 5 hours later.
You don't ship much using first class postage do you? That PO 90 minutes away is your regional hub. It's taking the slow ride to your PO from there (It's first class, not priority). If it was scanned this afternoon that close to you, it'll be in your hands tomorrow. I'll bet money on it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like the honeycomb is there as a splash guard only.

A honeycomb can't really be a splash guard by definition...
There's really no scenario I can think of where a honeycomb would reduce the amount of splashing going on...
I'd say it's just there to help the showerhead get the water up in the egg section...

It is pretty narrow, and the ice catcher is not really worth the extra effort IMO. But you can fit ice, you just have to make sure you only fill your ice trace half way. You could perhaps buy an ice cube tray that makes smaller cubes if you really wanted.

Why would you use ice for a vapor path?
Does not make sense?
If you want a cooler path why not reduce the energy to the device by turning it down a bit?

Ice is better to cool SMOKE. Adding Ice or cold water to the vapor path will cause the vapor to condense before it hits your lips
