MiniVAP Vaporizer

THE KISS FREAK

Rock & Roll All Night & Party Every Day!
Hello everyone, I've been unable to review my new Gold MiniVap yet. I got it on friday night, but unfortunetly for me I had to have a emergency tooth extraction late friday afternoon & have not been feeling good. Plus I couldn't smoke or vape till late yesterday, No Suction per dentist. And being that I don't want Dry Socket, I followed his instructions. But anyways........
So I was able to unpack it sometime saturday and I've gotta say it looks and feels like it's a quality piece and very well made. Everything was there I think, gotta double check "includes" list on vapornation. I checked it out visually completely and all is well except for 2 or 3 Pin like prick marks in the body of the vape, I was a little disappointed by this being as expensive as it is, I felt like the Finish should be PERFECT. Am I being Anal? LOL. I might contact vendor to see what they say.
I follwed instructions and charged up the battery and gave it a quick little test late last night, little basket on green with the hard mouthpiece and the hard cone and vapor was ok, once my gum heals more I will test better, afraid to suck too hard right now till I'm healed. I got to say it did heat up quickly, about 4 min to green, faster than I thought it would take.
More testing and thoughts to come soon, as I get better, just wanted to quick update you all and not leave you hanging. Peace :)

Almost there...
@lazylathe -- looking forward to your thoughts on this one since we are so aligned with our other vapes. This has a lot of appeal and I have long thought it should be more of a hit.

I will do a full write up once testing has been done!
I am trying to find a Vape that will complement Herbie but be portable, I am hoping that the MiniVap will fill that niche!!

Trying to thin the herd down to two or three top quality vapes!

Not in excess, but need to access, accessories, with accentuation on the baskets and flexicones. Any kind suggestions as to where one might locate such necessities?

Hi everyone, i really want to buy a minivap with Vapornation.I'm living in France, when i place my order, it is said that i need a converter 110v/220v.But the minivap is a Spanish product, and in Spain the voltage is 220v.
I asked the question to vapornation. They answered that the unit will run on 220v but it woulld be better with a converter...:\.

Do i need a converter or not?

Thanks for yours responses.

Maybe Hermès Medical made a US version...IDK but you can ask them to be sure...

I agree Vapornation answer is funny! mabe they think about an adaptater...
but it's a good choice it's a high vapor quality vape and very solid unit, mine is fallen several times (dogs, cats, child, mistakes,....) and it works better and better, I'm pretty sure my Cloud+ would be dead if I treated it like my MV!

The new metal liner will convinces people which wants big clouds quickly (not as quick as the Cloud+, but really near and the taste....oh!)

After almost a week of use (boy do I love this vape!) and comparison to the Herbie here is my take on it: They both are convection so they both have exquisite taste. The Herbie heats up in a flash where as the Minivap takes a few minutes and which is a nice window of time to load your basket and whip and pop it on the top. And no sweat at all considering this is a portable. The ABV comes out the same nice even medium brown color in both units unless you push it then darker brown. :rockon:The only real remedy that we seem to have for VAS at this present time is to get both.:myday: So much the same they are, yet totally different.:D The build quality on the minivap is SMOOTH! It is definitely nice to hold and behold. Hey does anyone not use the baskets and just load into the chamber? That chamber looks like it can pack a bunch and therefore WHALLOP!

Well, i placed my order!!
With the coupon MINI on Vapornation, it's really a good deal.
All the minivaps are sent with international charger:).

Actually i use my lotus and sometimes my solo.
But i want portability( just when i'm walking around my swimming pool:rofl:),
taste and clouds! I hope i won't be disapointed !
Cheers from Reunion Island

The MV works just as fantastically whether from AC or battery power. The battery is heavy. And adds substantial mass to the unit as a whole, however it does last a decent wee while too.
And I too have used the eq elbow baskets. They have more angled sides too.
Roger D.. You should get a Y adapter and get those two babies up n running on a single hit!

Hehe, great idea indeed, I already asked my blower to make one Y adapter especially for me but it usually takes a little while for him to make and ship. That's going to be so sick :) I'm expecting the strongest hit of my life !

Thanks @ShayWhiteGrow for the review!!!
Mine should be on it's way to me soon and i am thinking that between the Herbie, MiniVap and most likely the E-Nano i will have all bases covered!
Since Herbie arrived almost 9 months ago i have not looked at another desktop vape.
Been on the hunt for the best portable and now i think the MiniVap will fill that niche.
Love my Solo, will hold onto it as the more portable/pocketable version for outings.

How are you finding loading the MiniVap? Looks like it has a few small parts that may be quite fiddly?
I have no idea of the scale of the things yet. only seen pictures.
Apart from that it looks like it belongs next to Herbie!

I couldn't imagine going back to my solo now. The disparity of flavour between the 2 are night and day and the MVs unrestricted draw just seals the deal.
Really might go the Roger route and get another for a spare. Plus the clouds this thing gives amaze me everytime.
To anyone that requires their vaping to be more on the stealthy side I highly recommended that you grab up one of those smoke buddy personal air filters.
Simply put.. They work an absolute treat. Zero stink. Your grinded herbs will still honk a touch, though won't really linger with a window open.
Also loading the MV is oh so simple. Use the baskets with the flexicone and your unit will stay virtually crud free!

This exactly. Flexicone/screen/basket with a bubble or water tool of choice. I have cleaned the basket combo once, and even that was just done but not really necessary. My MiniVap heating chamber is near spotless.

Tried this today to see if forcing the herb as close to the heater as possible would have any discernible effect on vapor production and what not..
It seemed to work but will test more extensively tomorrow.. Day off.
Flexicone/screen/empty EQ basket/then the standard larger basket. The rim of the larger basket isn't enveloped by the flexicone, instead it's the Eq baskets rim that is seated there. Instead of the herbs getting pulled against the first screen they instead are only pulled onto the bottom of the EQ basket thereby staying almost twice as close to the heating elements as per usual.
Someone else have a go! And let me know.
*WARNING@ anyone with not that many spare flexicones.. The Eq baskets are just a tiny bit bigger on the rim so they seem to ever so slightly stretch out your flexicone.

Thanks, I think you just answered my perplexing question as to why my wire basket gets much hotter when vaping directly vs inverted in a bubbler.......Inverted , the herb all falls "down" in the basket/ farther from the heat source! It is compounded by my using very small loads. If the basket was stuffed full, probably would not do this. Light bulb going off in my head.
Thanks

The MV likes tighly packed loads, because it forces more hot air in the material. For a small ammount, the new flat baskets are very appropriate.

I don't grind my stuff, I cut small bits with spring scissors, nothing gets cut twice, so it's fluffy and not powdery, makes a even and good pack and doesn't destroy terpenes prematurely.

When inverted in a bubbler, the loads automatically kind of packs itself on the screen with the pull force, witch concentrates heat on the herb since it makes it tougher for heat to get through without being absorbed. When it's too lightly loaded, the heat kinds of passes through without vaporizing the goods in a fast, enjoyable way.

Aww man. I don't think I could be arsed sitting shearing up some nugs. I just santa cruz shredder my bud and then tap it into my space case. I'm always real careful to keep agitation to a minimum after dumping so as to maintain as many trichomes as possible, this serves to allow only the teeniest dust through to collect.
I know people who grind up all their goodies right away and jar em up. This makes no sense to me.

code "MINI" initiated... thanks very much for the heads up on the killer deal and for all the great information in this thread. I've wanted this vape for years, finally just pulled the trigger and feeling no remorse

The "oh man I hope this is worth this cash" feeling didn't last past my first basket.
I was a solo 7 man for over a year and this is beyond a step above. You won't be disappointed or dissatisfied.
