So I just got my evo in the mail today. Let me say holy cow it is amazing. I didn't get a chance to get one of the hydra tubes because of budget reasons so I just have the normal mouthpiece. But still, this thing is amazing.

Also, does any of your globes keep switching from green to red every second? Mine has been doing it but it seems to be working good

Maybe that's true of your units, but that's not the majority perception, and I, and others, go from the original Cloud beta units to the current EVO. Harsher vapor for the most part, when comparing like designs, means a higher temp, and you can't get much more similar in design than the Cloud units. The Cloud has been an ongoing refinement. So far it seems to be a big refinement, but that doesn't mean a big performance difference. No one who has used both of my models has ever commented on any significant difference in action, but I know where to set both units so that at least the resting temps are the same. I think the biggest refinement may be repairability (made that up) and reliability, hopefully a lot of the latter leading to little worry about the former.

I picked up my Cloud Evo via the last Massdrop. I've been missing flowers since using my UP tech oil gear so much, figured if I upgraded from my Volcano to something a little tastier it'd help me out. And man, it's so nice to get back to the full spectrum of cannabinoids. Does a lot more for my back pain than just oil. I am just learning the ropes the last 2 evenings, and I love it so far. It's so freakin easy to use!

What I didn't expect was the flavor of the VapeXnail. I have used two different e-nails and have two Hercules vapes which until yesterday was the best flavor I've ever experienced out of oil. The Cloud Evo blew my tastebuds away into another dimension.

I'm freaking STOKED about this thing.

Thanks @max, can you tell me where you sit the temp on your OG Cloud and your EVO? I'm now realizing that you are correct, the Cloud+ is harsher because it's hotter, and all my old thinking about the EVO not getting hot enough and using it on max has changed. I now think the Cloud+ is too hot....i've been consistently dialing it down from 2:00, and now i'm less than at noon on dial. I'm thinking that 11:00 or noon on Cloud+ is about 3:00 on EVO?

I think it may soon be time to upgrade Cloud+ to EVO! After buying a Herbie, I think i'm becoming a vapour snob, and the vapours from EVO are alot more similar to Herbie than Cloud+. I think I finally see the light!

Mine stays solid green , once it reaches set temp .
It blinks when the auto-shut off feature activates .
Then I just toggle the off/on switch to reset it .
I don't think it's suppose to blink constantly tho .

btw , I use my side-circ dry when doing concentrates .
The flavor and taste is less diluted , I find .
You can always acquire Water gear to add on later .

Congrats on your new Evo .

I think you have to consider each unit to be a little unique. If you want to try and figure out where to set 2 different units so the temp is the same (at least the resting temp), put a meat thermometer into the gong and see how much you need to adjust one to more or less match the other.

Flashing the green and red back and forth normally means the auto shutoff has been tripped. Red means your selected temp (up or down) hasn't been reached yet, and green means it's at selected temp and ready to go. If yours is flashing all the time then something's wrong.

A pump? You mean an air pump like you'd use with a vape that fills bags? :hmm: That's the only kind of pump used with a vape AFAIK, and I see no point with the EVO. Am I missing something?

I think it was because I was using a brand-new pump; it worked really well besides that, but I haven't tried it since which is too bad because I have a well broken-in pump available to use now but no more evo.

this could very well be the case for me as well... I've never actually measured the temps so maybe my Cloud+ is hotter than I think it is.

the EVO and the Herbalizer have significantly contributed to a big change in my perception regarding both ABV color and what "quality vapor" actually is

here's to progress :science:

I LOVE LIFE
Just got the New Neoprene Sleeve and its awesome. Very thick and comfortable to your hands. It also makes the EVO look even more sleek. I bought a Honey Bun Skillet Tool as well but I don't use concentrates. I thought it'd be good for scraping keif out the bottom of my grinder and I was correct! It also makes a splendid toothpick!!

Sometimes my unit does flash between red and green during usage as the heat escapes I guess and the unit re-warms up. It doesn't do this for very long but I have noticed it occasionally.

I don't know exactly thats why I'm taking responsibility for it. I know I was splashing a lot of water around cleaning in my lab at the time and I was pretty faded . . .
