The pH of most of these cleaners is very alkaline so I do a citrus juice dip before I rinse with reverse osmosis!

Most products are pretty good.
I use PWB because it's cheap and works in my case. Citrus is free so I use that as well.

You could just let your glass get dirty?
I'm so picky about flavor I keep mine sparkling. (over kill!)

For that request I would say the D020.
The D022 is my favorite piece however it may cost $3.00 more? The D020 is a all around good piece. I use it a lot!

$3 isn't a relevant price differential. I meant smaller and cheaper than the YQ42. If I went with a D020 I think it would be the -D or the D022. My problem with both of them is they land the vape right in my face. That's why I'm considering the GB-228/9 and Kathy's Recycler over them.

PS: The YQ-42 will fit an E-Nano with no problem, yes?

If you have a 14mm wpa you need a 14mm x 18mm reducer bushing for the transition!

WPA is a water pipe adapter I'm guessing? I have the 19mm GonG, but I just wanted to make sure the space between the stem and the tube is large enough for the Nano to rest there.

WPA is a water transition fitting.
A GonG is the same thing.
The term GonG is use for the SOLO usually.
GonG = Glass on Glass

Can anyone with a YQ42 take a quick measurement? Or anyone with a Nano and YQ42 weigh in? I'm willing to spend the extra money for the YQ42 presuming everything fits properly.

Do you mean if it will fit on the downstem on the side? I have never had a problem with any of these chinese pieces. Even with my two Clouds which i think are some of my bulkier vapes.
I don't have a YQ42 though.

In other news my Kathy recycler arrived today.
Very well packed, came with two free 18 to 14's i didn't order.
The bubble wrap didnt look gross and nasty like some places *cough* sunshine store *cough*

It's in great shape. Vortex slightly offset so it works. Very loud indeed but a lot of fun.
I'm enjoying using the vortex downstem as a holder. I can put my fingers through it and have a travel mug style grip on it.

I asked for a 18 - 14 reducer with my order because I needed it for another piece, and I only got one. Wonder if Kathy thinks I used it for the recycler.

My problem is the YQ42 has much less space between its downstem and main tube chamber. I'm not worried about my GonGs, but the actual mass of the Nano. I know it's a pretty small piece, but the YQ42 only seems to have an inch and a half of clearance.

So the last time I had an update to my tracking number was 9-12-14. Should I e-mail Sunshine or is it pretty typical to go that long without an update? Also will it let you know when it's delivered to the destination, or did it just kind of show up randomly for you guys? Shipped the 9th initially said estimated by the 21st so I just figured if it was on track it'd be getting close.

I need to order a new nail before all this gets here too. Was going to go with the new-vape ti-nails since I can get one for $36 shipped. But part of me just wants to try out an eBay nail. I've just read such mixed reviews on them. Some people swear by them and others say they are garbage. Guess it depends a lot on the vendor as well.

It won't update between the time it gets on a plane and lands in the USA and is processed. It will take several days to update. Be patient, I haven't heard of one shipping complaint regarding Sunshinestore

You just have to be extra patient with China glass. It has to go through customs and all the annoying processing. And on top of that it's not as high a priority because it isn't express shipping or anything like most packages are now a days. You can probably thank amazon prime for that lol. So the timing is really unpredictable.

But for reference I ordered a piece from Sunshine on the 1st and got it on the 11th in New York. It was estimated to get here the 13th so it was early but there was a 5 days gap between updates from China to the US so hopefully it'll update really soon for you.

I've ordered things from China before. I know how the whole customs and overseas shipping process works. I just do not have any experience with dhgate or these vendors. Thanks for the answer. If I don't have a tracking update by Friday I'll shoot them an e-mail.

I think I'm just going to go with the newvape domeless nail as well. It's realistically not that much more $$$ than an eBay nail and I can have peace of mind. Plus they claim a 1-minute cooldown from 700 so that seems pretty legit.

I really want to try one of those domeless quartz nails on eBay as well.

EDIT - I just googled my tracking number for the hell of it and tracking ePacket via USPS shows it's in San Francisco. I'd say there's a good chance it'll get here by the weekend. :D

Ohhhh. I thought you had been using USPS to track it. USPS is better for tracking ePacket shipments. It's updated more often and it's more accurate. Seems like you should get your glass in the next few days. Hopefully all is well with it. :tup:

I recently got the Pinnacle Water Tool for my solo. It's been working really well but I've noticed each time I clean it it take forever to fully dry. Any advice on speeding up the drying without any chance of damaging the glass?

Plenty of room. Don't really think there's too many pieces it won't fit on. I would definitely recommend it, not much drag, still has good flavor even though it has two percs. Using the nano through the YQ42 is what I imagine hitting a cloud evo through a hydratube is like (though I have never used one) but for much less cash.

Please update us with your opinion. I love the sleek look of that. Got two pieces today from Kathy. Not sure how to post pics. Waited gladly about a month for shipping. The piece dangus got from Alina I got after about 7 weeks ,no problem , mine had a glass nail and a non related extra piece. It's funny how sometimes I have to sign for shipment other times not. Thanks to guys like ataxian and dangus and others for their opinions
Ps where on site do I learn to post pics or copy Dhgate links.

How thick is dhgates glass. For example the D022. Im use to 5 mm thick glass from grasscity but these prices are awsome. They just dont show the thickness.

You'll never see official thicknesses listed on these pieces, and anything you see on reseller's websites is usually bullshit (I've seen everything from 3 to 7mm listed for the same piece). Typically the pieces we mention and love are around 3mm though I haven't tried to use calipers on one to confirm, but I don't think anything I have is 5mm. Be careful though, these vendors also sell shit less than 1mm thick which arrives DOA (just had my first DOA ash-catcher last week, luckily Sunshinestore is fair and refunded me the full price).

Build quality is always hit or miss - depends on who made your piece in particular - QC is obviously quite low. If you have extra funds, I suggest ordering two or three like @BoogerMan does and pick the best of the batch and sell/trade/gift the others. I personally have never had a fully defective piece (excluding the paper-thin DOA AC) though I have had a few pieces which have slight imperfections which are tolerable at these prices (at $150 like my LHS charges for the D020, no way in hell would I accept any flaws!)

I am digging @FUnhouse 's D020-D, nice action and minimal resistance are all sweet!

But realizing this is not my ideal piece for concentrates. The proximity of the nail to my eyes is too friggin close with the m/m gong- I am getting painfully cross-eyed trying to focus on dropping a bhomb.

As soon as my other adapters come in, I am going to use it for flower. It is my first 18mm piece and the unrestricted airflow is just what I am looking for.

IMO most of the best dh pieces are 18mm. My whole collection is 18mm and its all from dhgate. I sold my one Toro oil rig and bought 10 bubblers and a fat sack of the good stuff, all thanks to this thread!

I can't believe I ever payed that much for glass. When selling my Toro I almost felt bad for the guy who bought it knowing that I can get a fully functional replica of it for 36$ vs 500$ but to each their own!

anyways end rant. Just browse and if you fancy any water pipe, than go for it. Worst case scenario is that you sell it on Craigslist for a small profit if you don't like it.
