Will the Ophos kiss globes fit on either the Persei or Omicron? Without an adapter? I'm not wanting to bank on getting my 8 pre order before I get home at the end of the month, but I want to take advantage of the sale at the same time.

I think the O phos carts only work on the O phos, however, the regular Omicron/Persei carts should work on the O-Phos, they will just have a little gap instead of the long skirt of the O-Phos cart.

Hi Gary, I've been looking to buy the rebuild kits and some batteries but I'm not sure how that would work out. Would it ship all together once the rebuild kits come out or do I pay double shipping?

What do I need to do to get this added 10% discount?

Also how necessary is the ohm checker for the rebuild kits? Is it necessary for the hercules?

guys we will ship orders once we have all the items, so if you pre order an item along with another item we will ship it out soon as we have both items.

@Soflo its sitting at the dock waiting for customs clearance in HK, there seems to be a crack down on illegal shipments so its going slow.

Hopefully well see some movement this week so that we can ship end of month.

Yeah Kiss Globes for the Persei were sold out before the sale even started. Word last week was that they would be back in stock in 3 weeks. Can't wait to grab one, a new ti coil and a Nibbler GN!

You know the 8 has interchangeable top caps in both 601 and 510 threading, so that you can use carts threaded for either, right? What else do you need to know?

yeah I understand my friend -- I guess when I did the pull down and realized maybe I could just get a 510 thread n use with the new 8 --- but then I saw 2 separate 510 types ? ego or mod -- which I assume the 8 would be MOD -- but I was just wondering ---

I'm just gunna wait till its back and thats ok (ill grab that when I grab the rebuild kits) -- was happy 2 see such a nice sale ! much respect THCSCIENTIFIC

Your assumption is correct, the 8 is a mechanical mod. It should take a standard 510 thread. Ego e cig carts have a skirt, like the o-phos.

Greetings everyone.

While I have never posted anything on this site, I have used it a considerable amount, so I thank all of you who participate regularly. I'm a former TET (Cera) user, and since their closure, I realized I had to find something better (in the sense that I want to find a unit that better fits my needs). While I love my Cera, it had to be sent in to TET several times for various reasons.

With that out of the way, I just purchased a Persei Vaporizer from Vaporwarehouse. I understand there is a huge learning curve, and I plan on reading all the literature that the unit comes with to have a better understand of what I'm getting myself into (along with checking out some youtube videos). After reading the forum here for the past few weeks, I realized that I need to eventually order the SR74, and Nibbler XL (Presuming it's in stock by then).

I see that the Persei is a variable voltage Vape, 3.7-7.4. The Unit I ordered only comes with the KISS cartridge 7.4. With that Being said I have a couple of questions.

1: Why would I want to go any lower than 7.4 volts??

2: Is the only way to change the voltage by changing the type of battery I put into the persei?? (1 18650 as opposed to 2 18350's)

3: Is the SR74 easier to load than the KISS cartridge??

4: Going back to question # 1, I noticed the Kiss Cartridge comes in 3.7 or 7.4, which one do Persei users prefer??

5: Lastly, are Kiss Globes supposed to completely replace a KISS cartridge?? or are they supposed to be added on top of KISS cartridges??

I completely understand that these questions probably sound really really stupid to most, if not all Persei users. I promise I'm not being lazy. I've read through at least 300 pages, and my head is spinning a little.
My persei gets here tomorrow morning. I'm literally counting down the hours.

Thanks everyone in advance.

So far so good. Enjoying it but still a dangerous amount to learn. Now that I've experienced the payoff its worth learning it and living with the "what ifs" and need to upgrade etc.

I already want the 8 for simplicity of mechanical vs tops to fry etc. The herc itself is wonderful so far and I want to learn how to rebuild it etc. I'll stock up on spares once I know I'm really in it for the long haul lol.

Thanks for bearing with me everyone. It was a rough journey haha. I do think it was worth it and I know some issues would have never existed if I bought the latest persei to start with. Some would. Either way its been worth it for this first chamber full of oil so far.

Ok guys
I just got my big box of brand new UPTECH gear. I need some guidance as to where to go from here. Is it necessary to boil the SR-71 clean ? What should the voltage meter read on the SR-71 with the white rod?? Do I need a top cap, because it shows one in the instructions but i did not receive one. I am very excited to get rolling with this.

The SR71 should read about 1.5 ohm. And the top cap is needed to avoid airflow problems. Might work without it. Drop the parts in ISO or boil them. Your choice

Thanks everyone in advance.

1. Some people prefer the SR's and the KISS carts at 3.7v. You get better flavor and cooler vapor. Some people (like me) are cloud chasers and just want huge hits. We tend to go 7.4v.

2. The Core is an insert for your Persei that plugs into the wall, providing constant power and the ability to dial back the voltage incrementally. The Iris (V2 should be released soonish) is a top for the Persei that also allows you to dial in the voltage, but for batteries.

3. I don't think it gets much easier to load than a KISS cart, but the SR's have the benefit of holding more so you don't have to load as often. That said, once you have an SR set up and buffered you just open the cap and drop in whatever you've got. Easy Peasy!

4. Once again, preference. I almost exclusively use 7.4v but I've got an excessive tolerance and a need for clouds.

5. The KISS carts and KISS globes serve the same function (load as you go type cart) but none of the parts are interchangeable. No parts of the Globe attach to the KISS cart so you need to order a complete KISS Globe unit to get it going.

I know this stuff can be confusing so I hope this helps!
