Do you think it is possible to load about half that much (0.06g) two spacers if needed, and the unit still perform?
Like I said I am not looking for large clouds, nor do I care if it would require a longer heat up time because of the small load.

If it can't handle this then it just isn't the vaporizer for me. There are many times recently that I just can't afford to load larger amounts, even though I would really like too.
I think it would definitely work with .06 and the 2 spacers. Out of all my vapes I find myself using the Indica the most. The taste is exquisite plus the efficiency of the unit and the long battery life plus easy cleaining. I will definitely be adding the black Indica to my arsenal when it is released! I was going to pass off my OG Indica to a friend when I get the black one but as the sheppards used to say... FLOCK THAT! I'm keeping both!

Thank you all for your input! I am still very interested, and will most likely be getting one, even if I don't get to use it as much as I would like.

It has been a while now since I have purchased a new toy. If one can't get a new toy once in a while then what is the point of life?

Yeah it works fine with .05, it just doesn't last as long, and its not the easiest to reload on the go. That's why it works so well as a portable though, pack and go. .3 is only if you really stuff it though, I usuay use about .2, and it will last two 10min sessions at blue and two at green and/or purple sometimes too.

But yeah basically its quite versatile! It can be used in a number of ways, and is one of the most efficient session conduction vapes I've seen/used.

If the unit you get doesn't come with the silicone I'm sure you will be able to get one at some point. I never felt a need for it myself though and took it off my beta...

Also the oven door has been magnetic since the start of when the production run went on sale in April, my original bought a week in has it

I thought I had covered this somewhere in this thread but I might be confusing it with something I wrote in the beta test Conversation. During beta testing I pushed hard for the ability to work with small loads. My standard load is .07 g and I knew that many people are like you and me, they want good performance without using a full chamber. The way to get this is exactly the way you described: use two spacers. This works really well. You can strike it off your list of objections.

The door has always been magnetic. I only recently discovered that it only sticks to the bottom of the Indica, though. The magnet is fairly weak, although it seems somewhat stronger in the black version.

In search of the best terps and smoothest vapor
I was reminded last night how easy this vape is to use and reliably works well. I was trying to get over the learning curve for a different new vape last night, ended up experiencing some problems. But I pulled out my Indica and was back to vaping in a few minutes. My Indica has yet to let me down from day 1.

Thank you for your input! I went back through and it seems somehow I inadvertently skipped 5 or so pages in the early days of the thread. These things just happen sometimes when I'm medicated. Again thank you and everyone else for your contributions! This vaporizer will be making it to my collection soon enough.

Not minding my own business here and this might have been suggested already but maybe you could use your .06g + some ABV if the small load + 2 spacers doesn't work for you, granted that might alter the taste but it could help when in low finance?

I have used this technique in the past with other vaporizers. It certainly does work but is something I only do when I am the bottom of the bottom of my stash.
I prefer to extract all the goodies in one sesh, simply so I get to start over with a fresh load and fresh flavor every time. I do re-vape ABV when I am out of material and can't sleep, although I prefer to use my ABV for edibles.

I normally just to a super long ethanol extraction with my ABV and then throw the resulting oil into a batch of snickerdoodle cookies, mmmmm. Sometimes brownies but I am not big on chocolate most of the time. If I do brownies I wait til I have much more ABV so I only have to eat a small piece

@Krazzykid Yes, you can absolutely put .03-.05 in your Indica with 2 spacers for a nice mellow single session, I did it all the time.

You can also put .5-.6 in the oven with no spacers and be good for the day, works great!.

@c76man I couldn't agree more I totally took my Indica for granted! I didn't realize how much I loved and used it until it was stolen!:goon:

Now I'm remembering all the good times we had....such flavor:p.....:rip:

For me the word that comes to mind is flavor. I was surprised that I was even getting flavor towards the end of my session when I used the Indica for the first time.

The other thing is adjusta-bowl You can have a large load, medium or small bowl. The amount of herb you use is entirely up to you, it does not interfere with the flavor.

Ease of use, there is no learning curve with the Indica. Just add herb, tamp down, add a spacer or not, close the magnetic door and you are good to go at home or away. You've got places to go, now you have a small discreet portable vape. Whether you are a medical or a recreational user this one will get you where you need to be.

If you're curled up on the sofa, walking the trail, the Indica is ready when you are. It can be tucked away in a pocket or carried in a bag. The long lasting battery keeps going when you are ready to quit. Battery time on the one I'm using is still 9 - 10 min sessions. IMO the black V2 is the best looking portable, it's even as pretty as the Firefly, a real beauty to see in person. It will be available sometime in October.

Hey everyone, this is my first post on FC. I am experiencing problems with my brand new Indica. Perhaps I was expecting too much; I spent the better part of the waiting period extensively reading through this thread. But even after preparing my ovens properly (fine grind consistency, packed tight with spacer), I can't get much vapor production, even on red. My loads come out dark brown so the herb must be getting vaporized. Any suggestions? Could it be because I didn't get the full 12 hour initial charge?

As @queefermadness stated, make sure the air path is unobstructed. This is vital when using no screen (I prefer no screen myself).
Dip a bristled pipe cleaner in ISO, (squeeze off the excess ISO so its not saturated) pull off the mouth piece and run it down the chamber into the oven several times while the unit is warm.
You might have a piece of herb or a pipe cleaner fuzzy blocking the path. Your symptoms are usually a result of a restriction.
Shine a light through the top and make sure you see a "circle" of light in the oven from the down tube, not just the essence of light shining in the oven.
The oven is vaping the herb, but it can't get through the chamber fast enough so it tends to over cook the oven.
This is is common and simple to address so no worries.

As for the herb, IMO a mid/fine grind is perfect. Just make sure you pack it with the spacer.
I usually push the spacer in with my pinky, put the door on and if I shake it and can hear spacer move I add a little more herb until its tight.
If your used to the PAX start on green. After heat up, and in between hits try to wait 10 seconds to allow the oven to maintain peak performance.

The real flavor is in the 2 blue settings, vapor is a bit wispy but the taste is unrivaled!
However vapor production does increase quite a bit on #2 as you vape.
Temps #3 and up produce wonderful flavor and impressive vapor.

This should result in an excellent vaping experience for you.

I hope this helps my friend!

Welcome to FC!

Try all the suggestions offered. However, if you still get the same results, you may have a faulty unit. Mine displayed the same problem as you describe. I'm waiting for a replacement from Mike.

How is the taste/flavor with your unit?

I'm enjoying some Blueberry Dream in my Indica this evening. Superb flavor. This unit is perfect to add to your vaping arsenal. Always be prepared and have more than one vaporizer. No need to combust ever again. Keep your health first and foremost.

What are you using for comparison? This is a pocket portable with a small vapor path and you really shouldn't expect big hits/vapor clouds. I've used a few beta versions of the Indica and even the first beta model produced vapor and got me medicated. You saying your unit is producing vapor but you're not getting it? No effect?

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I cleaned the air line with a pipe cleaner dipped in ISO and it is perfectly clear. @max, the only two vapes that I have used is an acquaintance's PAX and my MFLB that I owned for about 4 months. On red, I'm getting about the same size plooms as I regularly got with my MFLB. But, I am not getting nearly as big of clouds as demonstrated in this video. I can taste the herb and I feel a little out of it, but definitely not highly medicated.

I'm currently performing a test on every heat setting, I'll have the results up by this afternoon. Then we can see if it is user error or a defective unit.

you might want to try running it thru water so you can see the vapor build up in a piece of glass. that helped me with my technique. i used some silicon tubing and a wpa from my ssv.

i start on green for a few draws then go to purple for the rest. usually finish a full load in a 10minute session and a half. i get nice flavor on green, then thick vapor on purple/red.

fwiw, comparing your/my results to someone else's video can be misleading given the difference in herb quality.

If the load comes out dark brown then it's not a heat issue. The most likely explanation is that you haven't found the right technique yet. Try waiting a few seconds for the vapour to build up after it reaches heat and between hits. Use gentle micropuffs. Pulling too hard is a common mistake. If you feel resistance, reduce your draw strength.
