The addition of concentrates to a can with make it last a solid 20min IME and concentrates alone as Trevor said last a long time too

Well crap. When did this little beauty enter the market. My next vaporizer purchase will be for a portable concert vape, and I have been focusing on the Firewood for that purpose, but this one catches my attention also, especially because of the dual bowls that would allow me to pack enough for a full show rather than carrying and having to install extra cartridges. On the other hand, the Firewood is on-demand, so I'm thinking using it with a Smoke Buddy Jr. would work well (anti-MJ state, small shows can be tricky). With this one being dual convection/conduction, does this unit emit a strong odor like the Pax when heating?
I am not sure of Pax smell but Haze does not emit as much as my Ascent. The fact that it is small in size is a big plus for the concert setting I believe.

Hey dude! I use a smoke buddy all the time as well. There are just those situations when it is needed and your example is one of them.

I have not used the Firewood yet but I have read some nice things about it. Not sure how comparable these are as this one is more than double the cost but does offer more features for those extra bucks. I would love the on demand though. No replacement for that!

If your serious about this I would encourage you to read the whole thread. Lots of useful info here and it will no doubt answer a lot of your questions.

I will throw you a bone on your smell question though. Three of us early adopters all had a Pax prior to picking up the Haze and I think we all agree that the Haze doesn't smell as much. In fact I can attest it is better than the Ascent as well. It does smell though as all vapes do.....

Your example of the show is a perfect one though. The preloaded cans are extra handy for situations like tha and two bowls is enough to get you through most shows so you may not need to bring extra cans along.

I like that a lot of vape companies are utilizing cans/capsules/cartridges ect. It really enhances the benefits of a portable and I think it should be pretty much standard in any new vape design.

If you read back you will find that the Haze cans were originally designed for wax and oil but we figured out dry herb works too!

Good luck on your quest for your next vape!

Excellent info. Thanks Scott! I like the natural wood of the Firewood, the on-demand heat, and the exchangable and pre-loadable cartridges as well as the price. I also wonder if the FW would be a little easier to palm for stealth. On the other hand, liking the replaceable batteries and the dual chamber of the Haze. I thought I had my concert vape chosen, but now I have more research to do. I guess it's a good problem to have, eh?

So nick, you're saying Haze and VaporizerUSA are under an exclusive contract that gives the distributor rights for VaporizerUSA? Sorry, I like to know who I'm dealing with if I spend $249.99 on a unit.

I would deal with wherever I purchased the unit from (if something was wrong when I first opened the package) or deal directly with the manufacturer if anything goes wrong with my product in the future since it comes with a 10 year warranty.

If you look back into the thread you will find the explanation to this.

"Buy more batteries" is not a good solution. Vapor quality is directly linked to battery life. They take four hours to charge and vapor gets wispier after the first session, in my opinion. Beyond that, the charger only fits 2, there is no way to use the unit while charging, and the base unit already costs $250. I can get over the initial cost (obviously I did, I bought it), but I have very little budget for additional accessories.

Also, I feel $6/can is a little high, in spite of its stellar design. There should be a 5 pack for $20. An easy buy that offers 1 can per day of the week. Perfect for med patients and discreet stoners.

The battery state also makes it less than totally portable. I purchased this instead of a Solo because I wanted extra portability. Now I HAVE to bring everything with me or I'm stuck waiting four hours for the batteries before I can vape at home. That's a huge bummer for a $250 device when there is a $125 unit that offers on par vapor; albeit in a (slightly) less portable form factor.

Discretion isn't even a real factor in buying this over a Solo because this looks like a flask. At least the Solo looks like a vape and more people are using vapes instead of tobacco everyday. I'd hazard to guess a Solo would draw less attention, in spite of it's significantly larger size. Obviously the draw to the Haze is the dual bowls and oil cans and I believe it was right for my needs over a Solo, but these are some pretty big usability problems for the Haze.

I'm also thinking there is something wrong with my silicone pads/door. I'm getting mostly good vapor production now that I understand how these batteries are, but there is definite movement when turned up to 4. Audible clicking and smell leakage seem to be happening as well. The clicking happens when the clip slips in or out of place, I think. I'll contact YourVaporizers tonight and Haze tomorrow. How intensely do I need to clean it before I send it back? The conduction and convection screens make a huge mess.

EDIT: I still don't understand how anyone is getting multiple sessions from one can. Maybe I just smoke more than most? I start it on 3, smoke it until I stop seeing vapor, kick it up to 4, and do the same. It's about a 10 minute session. It gets me well medicated, but I can't really see stopping halfway through and returning to half spent material. The battery ends up with a blinking middle indicator on the charger after that one session.

This is defiantly not the most stealthy of vapes out there but IMO it's a lot more stealthy than a solo. You can easily palm the haze that can't be said with a solo. Also it's a POETABLE vape if ur looking for a vape to use while charging at home look into a desktop unit that plugs in. Also if u don't think your oven door is fitting properly I'd email haze about that. The multiple sessions we are talking about is with the ADDITION of CONCENTRATES not just bud. Also if your batteries drain after one ten min session there is a problem. One fully charged battery last about an hr of using time for idk how urs last ten min. Also the point of having removable batteries it to have multiple batteries so u aren't waiting. I've seen other vapes in this price range that come with a lot less with the original unit. Also I agree the screens are messy that's y I only use the cans. Also I understand that we all have different budgets but I'm just making suggestions for u bro. As far as cleaning before if u have to return I wouldn't go super crazy but a quick ISO wash should do it.

@beware116, it sounds like you totally got the wrong product for your needs. When I spend $250.00 on a product, I do a very detailed research to make sure I am getting what I need. Features fit my needs, design of it is stealth enough for me etc. Sounds like these folks are easy to work with so I would call the seller wherever you bought the product from and send it back before it is too late. If the seller refuses, you can ask the manufacturer and they may accommodate this. I have returned many vapes in the past for different reasons and got my money back. You can get yourself a Solo for $125.00 or even less on eBay etc. If every product served everybody's needs, there would not be any cell phones in the market other than iPhone so I am sure that somebody would appreciate the fact that this is not the right product for you and give you your money back in full.

I researched extremely thoroughly. I'm not saying this is a bad product, but there are clear usability problems that no one has addressed in all 22 pages of this thread (which I read in full, multiple times).

My batteries don't die, but any session below full charge takes far longer to heat and produces less vapor. I'm hoping it is a problem, but that is what I've experienced in the three days I've owned it so far.

I also don't think I would be happier with a Solo, but your product has some pretty glaring flaws if another product is half the price and offers 80% of the same feature set (plus some extras). I believe a high-end product should function as one.

If no one has addressed these issues in all 22 pages like you stated, maybe you indeed received a faulty unit. Why dont you contact them with these and let us know how they respond. I have not experienced any performance issues related to the battery unless i start running really low on the battery. Some of the concerns that you raised though, they are preferences. Like you mentioned that the Arizer Solo would draw less attention. I owned a Solo for a long time. Even if you cover it with your two hands, you still have a hunk chunk mouthpiece that is visible from a mile distance. Haze fits in your palm and covered totally. It is not the most stealth vape since it looks like a flask but to most of us, drinking is still legal where smoking is not (hope this will change fast). Also, I would email Haze with all your suggestions. We have sent them a lot of feedback (Scott the most) and most of our feedback have been applied within less than a month already. So they are pretty good with that. In terms of how a high end product should act, I own two other high end products, Pax & DaVinci (which I bought DaVinci at the peak price unfortunately), Haze acts nothing less than either one of these and also offers more in my opinion.

I think replaceable batteries are a great idea.
I would rather have replaceable batteries than have a unit specific charger such as the pax.

Perhaps your batteries are not fully charged or not charging fully.
Can you test them?
If that's the biggest fault you have found so far, Id say that's pretty dam good.
You can always upgrade the batteries if they are not to your satisfaction.

I wish all vaporizers had replaceable batteries. I have sent too many vapes (more than I'd like to count) back to the factory for a replacement because the internal battery went bad and was not user serviceable/replaceable without voiding the warranty.

IMO replaceable batteries are a deal maker, not a deal breaker.

I am looking forward to purchasing a haze very much! From everything I've read throughout it seems like a great device with some innovative features. Customer service is amazing which is vital to any business.

The one concern I have, is 410F hot enough to successfully vape wax or oil? Love my oil!!!
If not, that's not a deal breaker. Although it would be super convenient!

@Vape Dr. This was part of an email I had exchanged with Amy from Haze Technologies, "Our actual bowl temperatures get up to 470 - 510F (which keeps the herb temperature around 410F at the highest setting) which makes our product extremely unique in its category. You will not see any other portable device that gets to those temperatures in this size. The reason that these temperature levels do not burn the herb is our patent pending heat exchange system. These temperatures allow you to vaporize wax efficiently but not combust the herb at the same time. These temperatures explain why dry herb in an oil can also works well."

Hope this helps peace

Thank you all for the warm welcome. I have just read all pages now. A lot of information, feedback and ideas. Amazing...I am glad to see that almost all postings are positive and reflect a good rate of satisfaction so far. We will keep improving for sure. We have several accessories currently under development. We should start releasing these soon and will share the pictures here as well. Water tool attachment is one of them. Currently we are working on the design phase for this. We want to make sure that our design will be unique and serves the need of the majority. Working with glass is tricky so that is the longest lead item in our list but we are getting close on that accessory. Others will be sooner. Thanks again and have a good night.
