Uncool Music To Vape To, The Songs Everyone Around You Hates

That's usually the kind of music that I like.

I want rare, old, quirky, unknown, annoying, or disastrous music that you love, but only when you're fucked-up enough to think it's good, and that only you can appreciate. That's the kind of shit I like all the time.

When other people hear what comes out of my iPod, I want them thinking, "What the fuck is he listening to?" I don't want them to recognize any of it. I always want to be "that guy."

So help me out, FC. Show me some weird shit that I haven't already heard. Play me something you think no one else on FC could possibly know or like. But keep in mind, I've heard a lot of music in my time...

Some obvious examples:

@momofthegoons, @Stu, @pakalolo, @dorkus_molorkus, etc. () I know you all must have some musical gems (nightmares) tucked away somewhere...

A thread like this would be incomplete without the Shatner:

Pretty bad, but fortunately for Bill, Leonard Nimoy decided to try singing too:

Oh fuck. Good call. You get the best compliment a Northerner could receive:

I actually do enjoy the first Shatner album!

How about this? I actually think Shatner's style works for this tune

I despise this song, and hubby knows it! Probably why he cranks it up every time it plays somewhere. :disgust:

I love this song. When I was 14 and working as dishwasher, I used to sneak this CD in when no one was looking and it would take about 10 minutes for someone to realize the music had been changed.

Good times.

That... is horribly AWESOME. Truly disastrous. I loved it. Would never have heard that otherwise. Well done! :lmao:

I don't think I've ever watched something more disturbing than this!

Oh, and whoever made this has way way too much time on their hands!!!!

I have no idea what to say about this. You definitely get the idea of this thread!

Here's something that always gets me weird looks. This guy Jason Cox had a friend who was very disappointed with how slow Beck's Sea Change album was, and so he decided to remix the whole album at double speed with lots of added percussion and other effects: chipmunk vocals and all. It's excellent… Really…

Not available on youtube, unfortunately, but you can hear the whole album streaming here:

For reference, here's the first track in its original form:

I surprised @Stu hasnt posted his rock video before.
But we all know how modest he is.

Things were a little slow in the dancing monkey with live accordion accompaniment world.
So, in order to keep the peso's and bananas flowing @Stu 's owner strategically shaved stu & gave him some drumsticks.

In light of the above, this isnt weird.
Just slightly unusual.

I am "that guy". It's not a pretty picture. Most "uncool".

True story. It is about 1987 and I am in Albuquerque at the home of a friendly source a 300 mile round trip from my home; on a motorcycle, in winter.
An, at that time new-fangled music CD was playing. I asked, "Who is this singing?"
Everyone looked at me quizzicly.
I was told, "It 's Elvis!!!!!"

I, the least musically-informed member of the first-cohort 'boomers', don't recognize any of it, so I recommend...

My face is melting...
I was just kidding about Vanilla Ice, no really I was.

Seriously though, this music will make your teenage son or daughter roll their eyes:rolleyes:. Maybe it's the awesome synthesizer rythem, or perhaps it's the fact that I saw them live at the Knob when I was a wee lad of 15 (and what a night that was). But for whatever reason, it causes the release of endorphines.

and of course you can't say you've really heard BOC without having heard this:
