Here is a great article that explains the importance of decarbing your weed, especially for cancer treatment. It's been shown that cannabis can be helpful and sometimes can cure certain cancers. What an amazing plant.

"High heat destroys much of the beneficial chemistry of the cannabinoids, terpinoids, and flavinoids. The optimum temperature is 240ºF. for 30-45 minutes."

According to this, we shouldn't vape above 240 F so we don't destroy terpenes and flavinoids???

I think they meant that temperature range for decarbing only. The issue with decarbing at that temp for too long is that some of the THC will start converting into CBN. Which is presumably why in that graphic they reference the THC levels start declining after a while at higher temps.

The other issue is that, especially if you decarb uncovered, you evaporate off those lower boiling terpenes, etc.

But if you're vaping you want that stuff to evaporate off into your vape stream, so no worries in that situation.
