Hey guys. So I have a little extra cash ($100) and am thinking about spending some of it on additional vape stuff. So far, I have:
  • Arizer Solo (new version)
  • Ed's Wooden stem
  • shitty grinder
  • d020 bubbler
  • screens, O rings, etc

Anything else I should get? I don't really wanna spend $50 on a SCS, and that's probably the only grinder I would consider anyways if I was purchasing one.

Are there any things you can hook up to the Solo that eliminate the draw restriction? (Vapor lung didn't work out for me). I assume there aren't any things like that though.

I like my bubbler; it's okay, but I don't use it all that much.

Anyways, got any fun ideas guys?

What about the PVHES mouthpieces, they help with draw restriction. Many feel they don't need them with the newer model Solo. I use them with my newer model and my older model Solo.

You can buy them at Planetvape but they come and go pretty fast. Keep checking, a very popular item. You may already know about them.

Funny you should mentions this, because approximately $100 is EXACTLY what I charge for vaporizer, and vaporizer accessory, consultant sessions. Send me a PM and we'll work out all the details more quickly than you might imagine, especially the financial ones...

Then get a small 2 piece, and if you really think SCS is the only decent grinder available then you're way off base. I have a $15 grinder that grinds just as well (and doesn't deteriorate), and that's not the only inexpensive model I have that works just fine. In the grinder market, 'gotta pay a lot and only a few decent brands' is a total myth. I've been using cheaper models for years.

Eliminate? Don't load anything. Otherwise, use water filtration and/or don't pack your load.

Thanks so much guys! That grinder/container looks really nice, have any of you had experience with it? I'll probably get that or the jyarz and a vape case!

But those "cannaplex" things look very interesting...

Edit: And max, what is that $15 grinder you have? :D

You can get a Lotus for around $100 and put your D020 to good use.

Opinions on the Solo vape case?

If the high priced grinders are out of the picture then I'd get a Mendo Mulcher. They don't have a 3pc but their 2pc & 4pcs work nicely. They have a 'vape' specific grinder that isn't bad either.

Well, max made me question what I said.

What if I can up it to $60? Santa Cruz Shredder the way to go? I really only want to spend that much if it's a significant improvement.

I think with a solo, if you have a grinder that works good enough for your liking, you should be good.

Any vape actually.

At that price I'd say so. Really, it all depends on how much you are willing and would like to spend. The 3pc SCS is about 65 after taxes if I remember correctly. Expensive? In my opinion, very. Worth it? When you have over a dozen vapes like I do, maybe.

I've always been of the belief that incremental upgrades are the way to go. I started out tearing up herb by hand, then got a little shitty sharpstone, moved on to a tiny space case, then a cosmic case, a mendo mulcher, and finally the scs. None of them were 'non-functioning' so it's just a matter of what you want to pay and whether a nicer grinder would mean anything to you. I have a friend who's been smoking for years and still uses the same beat up sharpstone. He just doesn't care. Follow what makes you happy!

I always hear people rave about the Solo and have not yet had the chance to try one.

I currently use a Lotus, Nano and Hammer the most, do you think the solo would compliment what I have or would it be unnecessary?
