And that would be me....got the email from Mike with 3 images and this video...payment sent...can't wait to have this beauty in my hands :D

Awesome! Hopefully UPS doesn't doddle like they did with my package ;)

Can't wait to see a video of it in action.

I can't wait for mine. Very jealous of @CrazyDiamond for getting the first one. Mike had to order some male joints so hopefully he will start mine this week/weekend.

My single recycler should be getting worked on as we speak because I got a female joint for that one :D

Mike finished my single recycler today. It's shipping out tomorrow.

I'm very happy with it and I think it may be the first one with a disc base. It looks like it should pair very nicely with my Lotus and Solo.

My double recycler will be similar to @CrazyDiamonds and will have a hollow base so I asked for a disc base to make the two recyclers look as different as possible.

He told me the male joints should be in by Friday so he will start my double as soon as they arrive :)

Mike is amazing at honoring what you request. I wanted it to be 12" tall, 18mm female joint, 3 rings around the joint, a ring around the mouthpiece tube, a disc base, and a flared Toro style mouthpiece. He hit every request perfectly!

Check out that mouthpiece. Mmmmmm I'm lovin' it :mmmm:

$180 shipped. Can I get a Fuck Yeah!!

More pics and vids to come. I'm hoping to have it by Saturday at 10am if he ships it 2-3 day priority mail :D

That was my experience as well. His emails were always sparse, but they contained everything that needed to be said! I was told when my piece should be started, given an update halfway though, then sent pics when it was done.

And I'm loving the new pieces. Hoping someone gets something worked from him soon too, curious to see what else he can do!

I guess I got an "in the middle" update since mine was worked more then likely. Also, that was when he suggested the marble feet on mine to add the stability since he went with the cone base on mine.

Glad he did too, because that was when I bumped up my budget for the worked mouthpiece!

Makes sense then...I actually told him to do color if he felt it (I told him I give the artist free reign)...I guess he doesn't like that as far as color stuff goes so mine is all clear glass...not complaining and not disappointed though.

Mods, sorry for the back to back...it was beyond the 6 hour edit time.
You guys wanted pics...you got em'!!! Mike's first double recycler. I love it. He shipped in newspaper but it was tight, and well protected. First pic will give you some size perspective../the monitor behind is a 24" screen so it stands about a foot...very stable, holds a ton of water (gonna take a while to figure that out)(the pics and videos I have the water level pretty high). It hits awesome and you will see the vortexes in the two videos. I obviously still need to figure out the right draw speed too. Enjoy!

Hey guys! I got my single recycler in from Mike yesterday.

I love it, but I'm really bummed :( It is my fault too for not thinking about what I was getting this recycler made for… To use with my Lotus and Solo...

At the moment I only have a Lotus and a Volcano for my vaporizers. My Solo is back in my home town right now. I have been going to the Lotus over the Volcano lately because of how quickly I can vape with the Lotus.

As many people know the Lotus and Solo have quite a bit of restriction, so when using these two you pull slow and for quite a long time. Unlike the EVO, E-Nano, Volcano, etc there is almost no restriction so you pull quickly and for a shorter period of time.

With recyclers there needs to be almost no chug when using high water levels for the recycler to work properly with the Lotus and Solo. A perc that is higher in the can will get rid of chug. I asked Mike to make me the exact same recycler with the perc around 1/2 - 2/3 of the way up the can. This way I can still keep the water levels high and avoid chug while still being able to recycle the water when using the Lotus and Solo.

So I'm sad to say I have to wait for another one to be made that will suit me better, but I'm hoping Mike doesn't have too many other orders so he can get it done and ship it with my double! That would be a nice treat :D

I did use this recycler with my 12 hole New Vape nail (hardly any restriction) and my Volcano bag (no restriction) and it works wonderfully!! However, I got this recycler with the female joint to use with my Lotus and Solo, so I won't have much use for it. I got my male joint double recycler on the way that I will be using for my nails and Volcano.

I can definitely see why people with the EVO and E-Nano and other non-restricted drawing vapes are loving these recyclers though. It is seriously a killer recycler made with really thick quality glass and IMO the style is spot on.

Here is a video of the vortex and some pics :) When the vortex gets going it is insane how big it gets :D Mike in on point with the science behind the vortex.

Sorry to hear that. From your post one thing isn't clear. Did you actually use this piece with the Solo? It sounds like you're theorizing it won't work. When I use the Solo with water tools, I just lift the GonG slightly to increase airflow. If that didn't work, I'd talk to @VaPeD&CoNfUsEd about a custom GonG with lots of flow. Or I'd get a turbo one from PV.

But I think the restriction issue is just a Solo thing to be worked around, not designed around. What design changes are you requesting that will help?

Slap a male to female adapter on it and call it a day. Bro, I love having adapters because I can make many different types of bowls, nails, etc be used on different pieces....example, last night I made the pics and vids just doing dabs. When I got home from World of Beer, I did both dabs and vaped with my LSV through the Double Recycler. Because I have so many adapters, I was able to use my HE InfinTi nail with an 18mm male to 18mm female and with the quartz nail I use an 18mm male to 18mm male. I always use adapters when I dab to keep heat away from the joint. Not only do I use adapters, but I also use the drop down I have with them as well. So the intent of the Double was to be able to medicate via dab or vape...and doing either through it has been wonderful so far even though it has been just one night.

No I didn't use it with the solo just theorized. I know that lifting the solo increases airflow but I don't like having to do that lol. I have one of the 4 hole pv and I made 4-5 slits around the rim and that increased airflow a lot but it is still restricted.

The solo is a great vape and I use it all the time but using it with a recycler is a little tricky. You have to have the water level pretty high to get it to bubble up enough to have it recycle properly because of the slight restriction. Even if you lift the solo there is still a little restriction compared to other vapes. And there isn't much you can do about making the Lotus less restrictive and that is my current go to vape.

For the design change I asked to move the perc up the can some. On mine it is about 1/3 of the way up the can. With high water levels you can hear it chug in the vid. If I lower the water level it removes the chug and recycles great but if I put the lotus in there I can't even get the bubbles to stack high enough to recycle. If it gets moved to around 1/2-2/3 of the way up the can I can still use high water levels and it will purr more and the bubbles won't have to stack as high to go into the uptake tube to recycle the water. This higher perc will work perfectly with the Lotus.

@blankrider I know I need a Nano and and EVO but I'm addicted to glass right now and as soon as I get these two from Mike and two more from Trey I'm done with glass and can save for some new vaporizers. I am also in the process of spending over a grand on a grow setup so the vapes have to wait until that is done.

@CrazyDiamond I own one or each adapter available. I use them all the time for the same reasons as you do. I have a nice makeup tray I got from home goods for like $15 that holds all my accessories! I'll post pics when I get home.

I am honestly trying to build my dream collection of glass so if that requires a few trial and errors with the same piece before I get it perfect for my needs then no big deal.

I don't think Mike minds either cause it's just more money and work for him :)
