I know that the number of loops affects the power of the KISS carts but my impression from other people (Sleeping in CA maybe?) was that the two different voltages required different gages of wire. I bought rebuild kits from Sleeping and they were definitely different gages for the different voltages.

Yeah bro, thicker wire has less resistance because the electricity is traveling through a bigger channel - its like using a garden hose and a fire hose to move the same amount of water. So for lower ohm count you can use less wraps, use a lower number guage of wire (thicker) or do both.

Exactly. I'm trying to figure out what the W9 rebuilt kit comes with. Does it have wire for 3.7v or 7.4v or both? I guess this question is really for G.

I have made coils that will work on either voltage with the same wire. You need a meter to check the resistance. You can achieve the proper resistance by varying either the number of wraps and/or the diameter of the wick.

Might be too early but my first impression is very positive. First, the thing has never touched herb, so the odor is negligible. Second, it's on demand, as compared to the PnP, where you're committing to a 3-4 minute heat up and then you have to keep going...two seconds and then a slow inhale is an awesome and product friendly alternative. Third, as opposed to wax in cotton for the PnP/bullet, I can see how close I am to killing the load. Fourth, it doesn't get hot as hell, like the PnP. Fifth, it feels far more solid than the PnP. Sixth, no cotton necessary. Seventh, it seems to last longer.

This thing is closer to the MFLB than the PnP in terms of stealth. It would probably pass my patented Xbox test!

Looking forward to trying out the Herc.

are you using the black rod? or white rod with the 18650 3.7v?

and what is the battery voltage of the overcharged batteries? and how did you come to the conclusion the batteries are over charged?.

Im using the 3.7v rod. Im pretty certain I overcharged them, i put them in my persei an it started smoking and clicking, ended up buying the hammer top.

EDIT: Replaced the coil today (old one had been sort of stretched out) for the first time. Pretty sure this has fixed drip issues. Also taking less time to form vapor. Maybe I just need to spend some more time with this thing.

Good eye....interesting indeed!

the imag plus is one of many we will carry, it is simply an herb vaporizer. We will not be rebranding them, or carry anything that was a stolen design.

The Imag itself is based on our universe cartridge system and this is why we have decided to carry it.

I'd imagine you guys at w9tech are happy with its performance?

it does the job, but would not say it is the best. Compared to the other re-brands it holds its own if not better minus the crazy prices for brand names.

I am assuming The Bender is still the best herb vaping device from w9? Or will this IMAG + outperform a Bender?

I'd rather hold out for a loose leaf attachment for the 8...if something like that is in the works =)

The issue with that is no precise temperature control, yes we do have things in the testing phase, but as far as it being a perfect herb vape, that its not.

Such Heresy deserves 1000 lashes.

Pfft

Nothing beats the Bender.

@OB

We have one coming for testing, the junior has the heating element in direct contact with the herbs they say. Doubt it will pass inspection for this reason we shall see.
