Discontinued Haze Dual V3

Just to clear it up it was the shipping company's fault for the delay not haze, vaporizerusa, or vaporseller. But the customer service could have been a lot better on vaporseller's part for sure.

Ah good to hear!
It's understandable delays get caused and mistakes happen and great that they changed you to overnight shipping.
It may have just been the CS agent I was talking to but I had to really convince him to see how ridiculous the course of action was to even get an apology and then being lied to to say the delay was caused by the vaporizer itself not being in stock is a bit pathetic

I'm not blaming the shipping time on VaporSeller or VaporizerUSA but in this case VaporSeller caused a 2 week delay by not actually putting the system on the order

I bought from VaporSeller before and the new charger from VaporizerUSA. The unit arrived in few days and the charger, I just got shipment confirmation so maybe you just had a bad luck. I would contact a manager over there and tell them about your experience with that particular CS Agent. From other posts, it sounds like they are pretty accommodating when there are mistakes. You may be able to get some free stuff along with it :)

Also regarding the temperature settings. I am comfortable at setting 3 and 4. Both settings create nice vapor density and taste. Setting 2, I rarely use (if I have very little dry herb left to vape, I usually use setting 2) Lower than these three settings (so setting 1) does not produce enough vapor for dry herb and looks like setting 1 is meant to be for soft oils and e-liquid primarily. There is a chart on the operating manual which shows which settings are recommended for most major material. I am starting at setting 3 and use it for the greater part of the session. Towards the end, I go to setting 4 after stirring my content in it. It works very well and extends the session time. I noticed that my sessions are way longer than my Ascent. Wax is great with setting 4.

My unit heats up to temp and blinks during initial heat up and when I change the setting from 4 to 3, it just cools down in few minutes (no blinking. Solid light on) and stays at that temperature until I move back up to setting 4 (starts blinking during the heat up for feedback). So looks like, it gives you feedback while it is heating and no blinking feedback when it is cooling. This is same/similar as the Solo and the Pax I believe. Owners of these brands may want to verify/confirm my observation.

only thing that looks disappointing is the fact that 2 cans are 10 dollars. Come on now Haze.

ean,

deadheadbill

I can see clearly now the smoke is gone...
So, I did browse thru the thread looking for my answer first, but I may have missed it.

How is the smell? Every portable vape I have owned reeked, rendering it completely unstealthy (PAX, VB2.0, Iolite, Tvape and MFLB ).

Subjective question but I can at least speak for the Pax which I also have. I think the Pax smells more both when using and when not in use. I also think that how clean you keep your device has a lot to do with this. I keep all my units on a pretty strict cleaning schedule to help here. I never go over a week to clean and often times less. As mentioned above the Haze is easier to clean than the Pax.

@ean We all said the same thing on the can prices and discussed it earlier in the thread. I checked with them and the response I got was the cost is in line with the materials they use. Basically all stainless steel and surgical grade silicone are better materials to use but they come at a cost. Maybe if they get some more units on the street there will be more buying and they can lower the cost? Also note that while you probably can't find a discount code to work on the units, you should be able to get one to work on the accessories which will save you up to about 20%. That is how I bought my last batch.

I dont think that there is a vape out there which produces 0% odor when used. The difference is some of them partially combusts the herb and the smell is more potent than the others. With Haze you will recognize the smell but not as much as a DaVinci or Pax for sure. My Solo was extremely potent for example.

I agree with you all. By the way, the dry herb performance on Haze is extremely good in group settings as well. Last night we used it with 8 people in our group and we passed it along all night. We used up 2 full batteries between the 8 of us in about 5 hours so the battery life is also good. What makes this vaporizer is the session length. Especially with dry herb and wax (we dedicated 2 hours to wax yesterday). It feels like your stuff never gets consumed.

One issue we faced was the low battery indicator. It displays red on the LED when the battery is very low but it takes 2-3 more hits after that before it completely dies. I think it would be great if it gave little more warning before the battery runs out completely. Other than that, it was the best experience. Anyone know if Haze has a water tool attachment?

Agree with everything Bruce. The long sessions are great.

I also agree on the low battery warning. Its not terrible because at least you have an extra battery to swap in but a little more warning would be helpful. I will make the suggestion to them.

As for the water attachment it has been discussed earlier in the thread but nothing yet. They told me that the would be working on a lot of things but won't release until they are perfect which means they might scrap it all together too.

Also I did get one of the rapid chargers and car charger attachment. I have not compared the charging time yet but as far as features go I like the extra USB port for charging whatever you want. I can see that being very useful especially for travel.

I also like the battery indicator light has a three light blinking process when charging instead of just green or red. This let's you know how close you are to a full charge.

Lastly there are now these spring loaded levers/plates (it's a bit hard to describe) that you insert the battery into instead of pushing the batteries directly onto the springs of the old charger. This is a nice upgrade.

All in all great additions to the Haze lineup!

Haze in my hands, batteries charging. Will need to be a little more patent before getting stuck into it.
One gripe which I hope haze will resolve is not all my cans arrived. Waiting for a response.

Otherwise the unit look really nice and fits snug in my hand. Common batteries charge lol

While I wait I can and will hit the firefly :)

As far as Haze goes:

Herb Chamber/Heating Element: Stainless Steel
Air Path: Stainless Steel
Mouthpieces: Glass & Stainless Steel
Cans, screens: Stainless Steel

So there is no component involved in vaporization and vapor delivery process including air intake which involves any form of plastic so I am quite surprised that you find plastic taste in this. I also do not remember from any other posts here that anyone reported a plastic taste so I would look into your concentrate and its storage. For example: Do you store your concentrate in plastic or any form of pre-interaction of your concentrate with plastic?

I have not done any ISO process with Haze and never tasted plastic with it. Lets see what others will have to say about ISO?

Just got my unit. It came USPS from VaporizerUSA. Is the charger supposed to crackle, smoke, and smell like something is cooking? :uhoh: Seems like I got a bad one. The Haze is working nicely though!

Just made my second purchase with yourvaporizers.com , I had bought the Haze vaporizer and before that I had bought the PuffitX . They gave me some coupons for being a customer, I've been a customer with Vapornation for over 5 years and I stumbled upon Yourvaporizers on Google and the Customer service was their at 3 AM in the morning. After I got the link to track my order, it took 4 days to get to me with USPS. I couldn't function the unit at first, everything kept on blinking and I realized I didn't watch the DVD that it came in, lol! After watching it I realized that I was to impatient and didn't wait for the indicator lights to go solid, I thought the device was broken and had emailed yourvaporizers kinda bugging em but he had told me how to use the device and told me the temperature settings. Im pretty happy with the unit .

My question is, isn't it suppose to come with a 10 year warranty card?

Glad to hear you got it working and are enjoying it.

As for the warranty. No card in mine. I think a lot of companies have gotten away from a warranty card nowadays. Probably to save printing cost and/or the green factor.

Just save your receipt and you should be find should you find the need.

Reading/watching the instructions can be useful sometimes lol. I don't usually wait for the led to turn solid before I start vaping. I usually start drawing once I can start to smell it. That way I get those tasty vapor clouds with low heat. It eventually gets up to temp and stays there for those thick clouds. Also I'm impatient too lol.

Anyway as Scott said, I didn't receive a warranty card either but if I do need to use the warranty (knock on wood) I'm sure there will be no problem what so ever.

@sexybabygirl11 what materials have u been using and what screen or can do u prefer?

ok so i love this thing so far. the conduction screens= fat hard hitting rips. have tried the cans with herb did not enjoy it as much as the screens. have also tried concentrate in the cans, it is good, when i can remember to put the can in the right way =P. about .05 of wax lasted me 20 mins. so far so good. as long as i can remember to put the cans in the right way, i should be good and not waste anymore of my product.I use .08 in each screen of flowers for one session. I am very satisfied with my purchase and am happy i gave up my solo for the haze.

I agree with you. Conduction screen hits hard and produces serious vapor. I think convection screen and the can (for dry herb) work best at setting 4. I enjoy Haze more everyday. I received the new design charger by the way. Currently charging the bad boys.

I get great vape out of the cans on level 3 too. It just takes a bit longer which is something that has been addressed with them and they are working on it.

I usually end on 4.

I also received my new rapid charger. I like the upgrades they made with the spring to hold the batteries in place. The 3 LED feedback lights are a nice upgrade from the red/green light on the old charger. I charged two batteries from completely dead to full in about 4-5 hrs. Also the car charger cable is a must. The problem I had with my old charger was that I couldn't charge 2 batteries that were different (one gray battery one blue battery). Now they charge with ease. I haven't used the power pack capability yet honestly I can't see me using that unless I really had to but it's good to have that option. All in all it's a great accessory and amplifies the portable capability.

Ean and all Haze Users

I am very disturbed to hear re plastic smell off unit - and plastic taste. The Ascent I received some months back was HORRIBLE. I had to do about 30 - 40 burn-offs and let it sit for weeks - and this was the 2nd one - the first one which I returned as it was defective was worse.

Now using it at higher temps, I am still wondering if I am getting the plastic taste/smell...

I would like to get some very honest, real feed-back from users regarding this issue. They have a no return policy for unsatisfied customers. Frankly, selling a toxic product seems like a manufacturing defect....
