That is interesting. All stock comes from the same place and they just got new stock in so I don't see why there would be a delay.

Did they give you a reason and how did they let you know?

We use Haze distributor to dropship these units for us. Since their inventory got delayed, they could not process our orders as well. We are expecting units by latest Tuesday (possiblyMonday) and we will pay extra to overnight it to you at no charge. I apologize for this.

Hi Guys,

Have a quick question about the new Haze Charger and Power Bank. Do I need special cable to use this as a power bank? I bought my Haze directly from the manufacturer and it arrived in 3 days, free shipping which I was pleasantly surprised. So far, I have been enjoying it a lot and I think this Power Bank charger is the bomb unless I have to get additional special cables for this. Can you let me know? I am currently in FL on vacation and I am considering buying this charger separately.

I'm assuming that once you buy this new charger the power cord is detachable so you can hook it up to a car charger (separate). I should be getting one soon if u feel like you want to hold off I will post a review as soon as I can.

@ean sorry to hear your bad experience with that 3rd party. Look at the difference in service that Bruce had dealing with haze directly. Not saying you did anything wrong but that's y I prefer to deal with the manufacturer than a 3rd party. When u receive your haze all the pain will go away @ean you'll forget all about it lol can't wait to hear some reviews. Thanks guys n gals peace

@bruce6110 vaporizerusa.net has a great description and pics of the new charger. To use a power pack u need fully charged batteries in the charger and the charger has a USB output for charging anything you can hook up with a USB cable. So all u need is a USB cable for the device ur charging which it should come with.

Just ordered the new charger from Vaporizerusa. Thank you for your help by the way. The two devices I use the most in my life are my cell phone and my vaporizer. By the way, I had a chance to read the entire Haze thread you guys have here and a lot of information. Looks like a Haze club going on here :) I have an ascent and firefly (firefly was a gift from my mother and I have been using it for only 2 months - DO NOT LIKE IT ). I was a big fan of Ascent till I got the Haze. I read several comments about the temperature settings availability in this thread and for any serious vaper, I want to comment that Haze performs extremely well (I can say either same or even better than Ascent) although it has 4 heat settings. I used the Ascent for herb and a pen vape (no name brand since I made it from various parts myself) for wax. Since I got the Haze, I am using Haze only. I never tried the cans for dry herb but will give it a shot. Interesting concept. I never noticed it in the manual but after reading this thread, looks like most of you guys are using cans to vape herb. Very smart..

Just a heads up....especially for @ean.

I contacted Haze to inquire on the delay of units. There was a carrier routing error in shipping these from Haze to their dedicated distributor. Somehow the shipment ended up on the west coast instead of across town!

Anyway this impacts all companies selling the Haze including if you order direct from them! I guess they are working with the carrier to get this corrected but it looks like best case is they make it to the distributor on Monday.

Bummer folks will have to wait a few extra days but I assure you its worth the wait!

@bruce6110 welcome aboard! Glad you are liking it! I had an Ascent too at one time and do prefer the Haze even though I still think the Ascent is a nice device. Convenience and features matter a lot more to me than temp. control and there is no portable out there that can match the Haze for that (IMO). If Haze continues to refine the device as they have and eventually adds more temperature settings then watch out competition! It will be hard to find something that offers more unless you are stuck on the form factor of a pen or something like that.

I tried it. You guys are right. It works very well with the herb in the can. It takes little longer than the screens, to heat up (I use at 4th setting) but once it is at temp, it creates serious vapor. I am loving this device more everyday. When i used the cans with the wax, I made the mistake of heating the unit first and later placing my dab...Dont do it :) read the instructions or watch the DVD :) I wasted some of my wax at my first run but the second run was perfect. The problem with the pens for wax is that I could never control the temperature. It was always a hit or miss until you get the hang of a pen operation. With a portable, it is consistent and you never waste your material (unless you are dumb like myself not reading the instructions) and I dont know any other portable vape which does wax as effective as this one so I am happy so far. I will comment more as I keep using it.

Hi all.

Can anybody weigh in with a comparison between Firefly and Haze? I'm a firefly owner and a fan, but it definitely has some drawbacks to using on the go.

I believe @bruce6110 had or has both

What are u looking for too make up for your firefly?

For 1 the cleaning process - it takes some real effort to keep the air path clear, and needs to be stirred very frequently. This is totally fine with me for home use and I love Fireflys vapor. But it never comes with me on the road mostly because of this constant maintenance needed every few draws.

2 - battery life. Again it's fine for home use but won't last long away from home.

3 - loading / unloading, the situation is re same as above. Fine at home but I wouldn't want to deal with it in public or on the go.

What I'm really interested in is dry herb vape quality and flavor of the Haze compared to Firefly. I LOVE the Fireflys vapor. It could be the convection that makes it so awesome.

Since we are talking about an on-the-go vaporizer I'm ok with a bit of flavor trade off, just seeking to understand how they compare

Well I can compare all of those except vapor taste comparison.

1. Cleaning is simple and rarely needed. I use the all purpose cans for everything so no material ever touches my bowls. The he's a little resin build up in the main air way but it doesn't restrict it at all. I have prepacked cans so on the road all I do is pop one out n another back in and never need to "stir" simple as that.

2. Rechargeable external batteries and a full charge is average IMO to other top vape roughly 1hr-1hr1/2 battery life. I get about four 20 min (1can dry herb) sessions. And u can get as many batteries as u want and with the new rapid charger just released will be in stoppable. New charger has separate car cable also.

3. Unloading/leading pre packed all purpose cans enough said lol the screens will need to be emptied/loaded if you choose to use them but those come out easily also.

Vapor quality is amazing I own a pax also and have had others. This is the best tasting portable I've had. I don't think there will be a taste loss but like I said I've never tried the firefly. Also this vaporizer uses conduction and convection depending on your preference the cans are convection and it's amazing lol hopefully someone can compare the taste for you. Hope this helps

Quick question ,
Do you need to have the rubber lid on the cans to do herbs ?

Yes the lid creates a seal so that the hot air passes up the side of the can into one hole on the lid thru the material and out the other hole into the air way into your lungs

and it hasn't altered any flavor or taste , in your usage ?
I'm just wary of rubber in my vapor path ,
do you think it's possible to substitute with a piece of tin foil ?

I'm still very interested in this dual purpose vape ...

It is too soon for me to make a complete comparison between Haze and Firefly but I have several issues with the Firefly, first of all, I agree with the battery life. It sucks and you really cannot rely on it on the go. I also agree with the cleaning. I find it extremely difficult to take good draws out of. I am also not that impressed with the vapor quality/taste. My Ascent was way better than the FireFly and since my mom spent 269.00 on Firefly, I cannot even return it. So it has been sitting there. So even if you decide not to buy a Haze, stay away from Firefly (again in my opinion). Haze tastes great. I think the vapor quality is also very well. The external batteries make a huge difference (I got 2 extra ones while I was getting it) and they last. Load/Unload: It has relatively smaller bowls but I use the included tool to load which is simple. I do not have any altered taste while I was using the screens. I used cans only once last night for dry herb and did not notice any taste difference. I will pay more attention next time.

The cans will make a world of difference in terms of portability. So I dont have to worry about loading/unloading anything when I am out. I just ordered 8 more cans today and now Haze will be the perfect on the go option compared to the Ascent and Firefly that i own.

I have a review of Solo vs Haze on second page of this thread. You can take a look. Vapor quality and taste is similar between Solo and Haze IMO . But that is the only area Solo can come close to Haze quality I think.

Vaporseller.com, where I ordered my haze, just delayed my shipping until tuesday. Very very disapointed in the site and would t reccomened them. Still lookojg foward to recieving it
I have to agree here that this isn't the best reseller.
I understand the orders are handled by VaporizerUSA but this VaporSeller does not do a very good job of making sure these orders are being sent out.

After trying to get a proper shipping cost and failing I talked to them on live chat (first they told me they had told their devs and it should be resolved in a few hours) after 2 days of nothing getting fixed they helped me to get a paypal invoice sent to me directly which I paid and I then mentioned I had paid it and I was told to wait for the tracking code (I was told this last time as well and never got the email and had to contact chat again to get this, I didn't bother this time as I only ordered a few cans and wasn't really waiting for them)
I just contacted them as it has almost been 2 weeks and I just wanted to check whether it had at least arrived in the country only to find out that it was never actually sent out, the order hadn't even been put onto the system!

The guy I was chatting with didn't really seem to care, no apologies were made until I asked why he didn't even say 'Sorry' for the delays.
He also said they relied on the customers telling them after they had paid invoices (which I did but is still a very weird way of conducting business)
Then he told me the Haze vaporizer had been out of stock for 2 weeks and they were getting in a new shipment (I ordered cans which were never showing as out of stock and they won't receive stock as VaporizerUSA is sending it according to earlier messages), so this is totally irrelevant but I think he was just trying to trick me into thinking that's why it was delayed, but it was just never put on the system and he never gave a direct reason why.

I have been enjoying my Haze a lot so far, except for the lights constantly blinking it does heat up and produce proper vapour. I have contacted Haze however as it is actually exceeding my set temperature so I can't vape on lower temps unless I cool the unit down before it reaches the higher temp but I don't have any feedback on whether it has reached that

haze had a little incident shipping their products out, so the shipping times were all delayed. i just got a confirmation that ups has gotten my package, vaporseller even upgraded me to overnight shipping. i will have this beautiful baby in my possession tomorrow cannot wait to throw a review on here!
