Discontinued The Herbalizer

My Herbie hooked up to my Infamous Bubbler. Works much better now with the adapter!

When using fan assist through the whip, and bubbler, it really is foolproof. The vapor is very cool, and smooth. Absolutely wonderful! :)

What brush do people like to use with their magnetic bowl? I need to build up the perfect accessory list for my Herbie. I am slowly getting my routine down so this is just as efficient as my EVO routine. The brush that came with the herbie is not bad but after only 2 weeks it is already starting to fray.
I use my MFLB brush, it's much stiffer and gets even the most stubborn particulates off the screen with ease

If you don't mind losing a couple inches off your whip, you can make a sliding protective sleeve like jazz drummers have on their brushes.

:tinfoil:20 hours and 30 minutes......... Approximately the time it took from the moment I clicked buy on amazon for my herbalizer to arrive. First thoughts: :whoa::whoa::whoa:
heat up time is so incredible. No more planning out your session depending in how long it takes to warm up the vape. The lid does seem slightly flimsy which I can understand would be a concern for many. It's not a huge bother to me but I do agree with that criticism.
The temperature spectrum this vaporizer uses is oh so much fun to explore. Right now I like 325,340-350, and 380. With this vape you really can tell what your getting out of your material at different levels of heat.
Like most any new vape I have a few questions some of the more seasoned Herbie owners could answer.
1.im not having much success using concentrates in the Herbie. I turn it up to 445 scrape a healthy portion of shatter into the aromapad and slowly inhale (with and without the fan assist ). Little to no clouds (great taste though). Maybe my technique isn't right constructive criticism on it would be most. helpful.
Before the Herbie I mainly (95%) of the time vaped through water. I connected some ssv tubing from the Herbie bowl to a jhan pixel and got disappointing cloud production at best (also with the fan assist on).i tried using aromapads into between layers of material however this didn't work so well.
Well see how Herbie stands up over the course of a month but right now IMO..this vape just replaced every vape I have except for the solo (portable use ,the only thing the Herbie can't do )
Thanks Sheila josh and bob.
Finally I am vaping like a boss

I haven't been able to think about anything but the Herbie lately...thanks for your initial review mrmrmrmrmrmr!!! I've been watching youtube video's, reminiscing about my short love affair with her when @lazylathe brought her over for a test drive....... it really is amazing how positive the feedback has been, not to mention the lack of RMA's!

The cult following for this space age vape is unbelievable! And I LOVE how I get the motif that "all i need is my Herbie, VAS is over, and I don't need any other vape except for a portable"! I get it, but even though i've tried the Herbie and loved it, I still have a spot for my other 2 love affairs - Cloud and Nano. This could totally change after I own the Herbie for a while, as it has for others!

I will try and answer you from my perspective!

Using oils etc i find that using the bags works best. Place the product on the aroma pad and place in bowl.
Turn Herbie up to 445, connect bag to bowl and turn the fan assist on to fill the bag. I get beautiful white bags doing it this way. It even works with my home made QWISO!
If you want to use the whip be prepared to inhale with long, consistent draws to get the best results.

I also will mix a bit of oil with bud and vape normally, you will find the oils flavour towards the end of the bowl once it is nice and toasty warm!
Using thicker tubing helps as you get more air flow but the standard tubing works just as well!
Also try removing the mouthpiece as it restricts the airflow quite a bit.

What type of herb are you using?
If you use it in your other vapes do you get decent clouds?
Try concentrating on your inhales in the beginning, you want a nice even draw speed and pull it in deep.
As of yet i have not had any bud not produce good clouds with ease.

Let us know how it works out!!

Is there a concern that the oil /concentrate could run through the pad and into the bowl, through the screen and damage Herbie?

I've had no such concern the pad is thick enough to set my mind at ease
Lazylathe-I will try the bag and report back ! The Herbie has made it a hazy weekend :ko:

I would say no unless it has a very liquid consistency.
Most shatters, oils and waxes are pretty viscous so no concerns really.

I bought a hydra tube at the Seattle Cannabis Cup, and it has such an easy draw, the fan of Herbie pushes vapor through it.

It is called a Simba Aardvark Oil Straw, and includes the quartz attachment and klip: you can lay it down horizontal and it will not leak.

@macbill looks awesome! The fact you can lay it down without it leaking is a huge bonus. How does it compare to hitting the Herbie through a regular bubbler or such? More or less draw? Cooler hits? I often run my Herbie through my rooster apparatus because it has practically no drag, but I often wonder about the perks of going through a smaller piece ( that hydra tube looks tiny! )

I prefer bigger bubblers. I've switched to a Do2o, and I like it better. And with the Swagger hydra foot coupled with anything is really really nice. Value-wise, you could buy 3 water tools off of Dhgate (or what-ever-it-is -called) for the cost of one of these. I don't think this is a "must have" tool.

Still, this is a small water tool, like the Assassin's Necktie (and same cost) but 14 mm female. Draw-wise, better than the Assassin, very easy draw. But a regular bubbler works better overall. Especially for high-temp vaping. I have the time to enjoy the full spectrum of low temp flavor hits and then work my way up. Small tools seem to work well in that respect for me.

I like small tools for dabs and such: less glass to collect "reclaim".

Works well with Solo. Better than 14 mm fbomb, about the same as the 18 mm fbomb.

Same load, on the rug. Water and all, no leaky... but don't go a fraction below the horizontal.

If I wanted to use one of those car lighter to ac adapters, what voltage/ampage should I look for so as not to overpower or underpower Herbie? Wanna use it in the car

This is a good question that I wanted to ask - does the company allow inverter usage or does it void warranty. I have a decent 400w inverter that I use with my other vapes without issue. I assume the Herbie will not have an issue?

Why's your Solo o-ring on top of the cap?

Ye sometimes there's just no spot to plug in and the car would come in useful

HOWEVER, the good folk in customer service (at Herbalizer) have already said they would make a ONE-TIME exception for the first batch sold through MD. They certainly didn't have to make that exception, but they were concerned about the customers that didn't know that wasn't legit. Most other companies just say flat out no.

So you should be covered straight by Herbie. Just save your receipt.

[The current MD has been pulled, so there should be any issue going forward.]

There shouldn't be any issues, because it appears that Herbalizer is now honoring MassDrop warranties?

WARNING: Warranty is only valid when purchased from a physical store on an Authorized Online Retailer. (Massdrop is now approved). Save your receipt!

I guess this means that there might be another MD! I can feel the Herbie getting closer!

The first MD was definitely covered after the fact. So anyone that bought there is fine.

The second MD got pulled due to it still not being authorized, but with the notion that MD would work with the manufacture in the future if it were to try again.

ok thanks for the clarification @nigel. Now I just need to sort out what authorized retailer i'm going to purchase from! I'm getting pretty excited.

Where are you guys buying replacement silicone tubing? I'm pretty OCD and will clean it with ISO but frequently will replace tubing. I'll probably just use a short 12-18" piece to connect to glass and then throw out weekly or so.

Are you guys buying the white replacement silicone? Anyone buying exact stock replacement tubing? Or i've noticed that a larger diameter is very popular without a mouthpiece for greater airflow (important to me). I just wanna make sure i'm all stocked up when I get my new Herbie!

Just Herbalized myself to a new level!!!

I had a lot of reclaim built up in some 99% ISO and it was time to evaporate it.
The result was the usual black goo that i do not really care for but still like it on occasion...

So as i was loading up a Herbie bowl i noticed the aroma pad on the table, hmmm...
Loaded up a blob of black goo reclaim and placed on top of flower load.
Turn Herbie to MAX, attach balloon for max extraction and blow.

I find the herb hides the nasty taste of the black goo but i get extra super medicated!!!
Now i don't mind the black goo so much!

Hey @lazylathe I tried the bags with concentrates at 445. Noticed slightly better extraction but it seems I get bigger clouds with herbs versus. My Herbie seems to be heating herbs well so I doubt it's the heat that's an issue. Anyways I still have nothing but TOTAL FUCKING LOVE for my Herbie. What this machine does is truly revolutionary to the vape world. The whip is different from your average one. It cools the vapor so well I go to exhale and a dragon cloud comes rolling out :rockon:
Still not having any luck through water...kind of a drag since I mainly vaped through water.
