Also, even if its shake it should be ground fine by the way, don't just pour it in as is (if you were)

What grinders do you guys use to grind fine? I've only been using my small 4-pc SCS grinder because I seem to be getting better results (more consistent and dense clouds, although still on red) with a medium grind, but with a fine grind through my MF Finishing Grinder, small bits are inhaled and the clouds are smaller.

I just turn a free 4chamber grinder upside down. I don't really have fancy grinders unfortunately...

If the grind that you are using is working for, go for it. Sometimes it comes down to personal preference. It's hard to tell sometimes. I have a four piece grinder too. I'm relatively new to the Indica. I've only had it for 3 weeks. I have read through most of the thread. I'm getting really good results so I'm just going to continue what I've been doing so far.

I've tried the different temperatures but my sweet spot seems to be blue at 358F. I'm getting wonderful flavor and vapor production. Towards the end of my session I bump up to green at 376F.

I have been using a four piece EZgrind and turning it upside down, the shake quality isn't bad at all I was just stating that to get the point across that the weed i am smoking isn't uncured or too wet.

Since my last post I used a different herb but got the same results. Any suggestions on what my next move should be?

Edit: I should also mention that I cycled through all of the temps to try and get some kind of cloud but results were stagnant.

Has your Indica always poorly performed? If it has never given you good results maybe something's wrong with it.

Are you getting medicated? I think that's the bottom line, if it's not your herb. If by Monday you continue to have problems contact the company.

EDIT. I notice I don't get as well of vapor production if it's not a firm pack and not enough herb.

I also tried the loose pack and a heavier grind and found the opposite. Maybe it comes down to the herb we're using too. A lot of different variables.

Sometimes there is no right or wrong. Do what works best for you. Indica is a real winner.
Happy vaping.

Before this instance I was getting pretty heavily medicated from only one, one and a half sessions on purple and I have always used a decently tight packed oven, I'll try tonight with a loose pack but I'll be sure to email mike by Monday if the situation does not improve.
Edit: I have not been getting medicated under my indica's current faultiness

Okay, so I just ran into a problem with my Indica (purchased in the spring) which some people also seem to be having - The device no longer heats up, at all. Worked great up until last week. The lights turn on, but the unit remains cold and I don't get any vapor. I've tried many different kinds of product, all to no avail. The device is clean, and all airways are clear.

I'll be requesting a replacement; does anyone know the best way to reach customer support? I've already shot out a PM to the president, but am worried that it will go unnoticed. I'll update when I hear back from him.

The best thing to do is contact mike via pm here, which you've already done. I believe he said he would be offline till September 1. Sounds like you have the same issue I had with my first unit, also purchased early spring. He's well aware of the issue with that batch.

Thanks for the advice, queefer. I'll give him a little time to get back to me. From what I've heard on the forum, I trust that he's a stand-up guy; heck, that's the reason I purchased the Indica in the first place.

I'll let everyone know when the replacement gets shipped. I don't want the same problem to occur again, especially if the warranty period has expired. So hopefully I get a reworked model - or even the black one. Dare to dream, right?

I wish I had another vape to get me by in the meantime... sigh.

@HappySam, I am in the exact same boat as you. I purchased mine in the spring and had the issue with it not heating up. I contacted Mike about it about a month ago, and he said he'd get me a replacement as soon as they could. He mentioned some of the QC issues that have been talked about a little bit earlier in this thread as why it might take a bit longer. I've been waiting and drooling over the new black version, with similar dreams as yours  Keep us updated, and stay patient.

Thought I would report results:
I was very happy I tried an herb and wax sandwich in the Indica. I only went as high as green 376F and had big clouds, good vapor flavor. I started coughing so I didn't want to go higher. I had some Ace of Spades strain and some Tahoe OG wax. Very medicated.

I noticed it showed red for the battery indicator (20% battery left) I can only go I session red then battery is depleted if I try to go 2 ten min sessions I run out of battery life. It's not good to run a battery too low.
Average about 9 or 10 sessions per battery charge. A session is 10 min. usually using blue and green temps. 358F and 376F.

I'm still waiting for a replacement unit. I was promised a beta and a regular unit. All i got was a fuming beta. Not sure if i'm still getting two unit's, but i just want a working one already. It has been months.

Edit: it's been a month since the original replacement. Still fucking sucks.

I hear ya, Spinuch. I read on this thread that the president (someone said his name was Mike?) would be back on Sept. 1st, but am still waiting on a reply.

I think Mike is on the road until after the 6th of Sept.

The Black V2 Indica has been working like a trooper. It works well with wrapping wax in cotton in this unit. I've been including the Indica during my on the go activities. It's small and very portable and easy to use.

This unit seems to be built very well. It has very good vapor production and it gets the job done. It also very easy to clean.

I got a reply too, and he said the replacement will be shipped within the next 7-9 days. I asked if I could receive the black beta... fingers crossed. :)

(Unless it still doesn't work correctly, considering it's still a beta? Has anyone who received the black version had any issues with it?)

It's like being a kid at Christmas again. I've been waiting for a replacement for a while and I'm kinda wetting myself a little. I had the original silver and I really liked it. I'm hoping with the upgrades it will really put the Solo to the test.

Personally I prefer the the flavor of the indica over the solo. The solo also irritates my throat slightly. I think its because of increased amount of air? Whatever it is I don't get that with my Indica or vapir2. That said I still find my solo enjoyable and use it often, just not my favorite.

So I know that the black V2s are going to be available in October, but do we have a more specific date on that yet?

October 16th is the target date to begin shipping to distributors and directly from our site. There will be added components and features. Additionally there is the potential of an increase in the retail price. This will be clarified in the next few weeks.

Will there be cheaper shipping options or a more localized dealer for those of us in the UK
