So here it is. It was quite difficult to grind it because grinder is so small, but I wanted it that way. Got some white widow from friend. Before, after and final product:

?? pics don't show up for me??
EDIT_ yes, now they are there.
What's the mini, 1.5"?
My small 3 piece is just under 2 1/8". My ideal would be about 1 3/4 or 1 7/8"

I have a small 1" cosmic grinder that I love. It crushes pretty much everything I need for a personal session.

I have a 3 piece chromium crusher that I don't even use anymore since I got the cosmic.

Got my roommate a purple 3 piece cosmic and it's been nothing but great.

I purchased an XL Cosmic 4 Pc. (in Rasta) last year when I was entertaining the idea of making BHO. I haven't used it for that, but it get's plenty of use anyway. The nice thing about the larger grinder is the ease of working the herb. I have a 2" Sharpstone which works fine except that you have to use your finger tips to turn it where as I can hold the Cosmic using my whole hand.

My experience with storing flowers in a Cvault was so positive that I bought a small to store my prepared herb in. I find that I like the latch mechanism on the Cvault, so much more convenient than unscrewing the grinder every time it's time to refresh the bowl....Hopefully it'll work as good (in terms of maintaining fresheness) on the ground stuff as it does with the flowers. We'll see.

Is that the mini? I find I need to keep the nugs I grind at 0.25g or so in my mini 2 piece. More than that and you need hulk strength to generate enough torque to tear though anything sticky.

Yes, that's mini. It's exactly as you said - hulk strength is needed :D Small version would be perfect, but whatever, this mini fits nicely in my pockets. And it grinds perfectly, I was surprised how easy was to roll that one. Before I've got some noname small 4 piece but this scs is another level.

mini grinder causes pain in base of thumb, at metacarpel...
the Largere grinders, once hand is wide open and upon them can cause discomfort in the actual carpal bone/wrist area (trapezium for example)
Too big is as uncomfortable as too small, so each person needs something geared to their needs, and use the preferences of others only used as a vague guideline.

I have big hands so it should be okay.
My orange plastic one feels too small and awkward at times.

I had a small 4 piece that was too small and also caused discomfort.
Hoping the larger format will be easer to handle.

If you have hand pain/muscle/joint issues, perhaps a crank-top grinder would make life a little easier? http://www.kannastor.com/shop-all-products/clear-crank-top-4-pc-3-0-grindersifterjar/

I have man hands, so the XL CC fits me nicely physically. I think the diameter of this thing is 3 1/2 or maybe 3 3/4, so it's not as insanely huge as one might think it is. The exit holes seem really huge compared to my relatively tiny Sharpstone but the grind is remarkebly close in consistancy. What makes it through is the consistancy of loose tobacco, so the engineers must have done some research 'cause it works. I have the 'misfortune' of having ultra-stickey UP HG too, so the extra leverage of the big grinder comes in handy.Everyone knows that you can grind smaller batches in a big grinder too, right?

Those SCSs look pretty sweet. Maybe I must have for my collection, No? Grinders, IMO, are like watches....or vaporizors. You really only need one, but the darkside urges you on for more.

Why is there not more love for Cosmic Case? Not harshing on any of the other brands, but so few nods to the company.

What seems to work for me in both SC and SCS is the small size.
The small SCS is a fraction larger than the small SC, and is the most comfortable.

Did you end up buying the titan grinder? Curious how you like it?

Just to jump in here...
I bought a Titan grinder off ebay a few months back.
It does not work as i thought it should and mine had pretty back QC.
I find if also gums up very quickly, worse than my acrylic one.

On very dry stuff it is fine but any dankness and it shuts down.
Quite a few great reviews around about it but i did not have that experience.
Nice high quality feel to it though!

Onto the SCS 2 piece, hope it works out better for me!

I just picked up a Large SCS 2 piece.. It's in the mail but will probably be about a week until I get it.. I had to see what the fuss was all about, and I've never had a good grinder, I've been using the same acrylic one for the last ten years LOL.. IMO it works good enough, so I'm hoping the SCS changes my mind about that...

Has anyone tried the stonemill grinder from theHighCo?
It looks comparable to the magic flight finishing grinder just larger.

Im interested in the stonemill2.0,they're adding a magnet and possibly a couple other changes.
it's coming out soon and I would like to hear if anyone tried the original.

I was interested in this when I first saw it, but was bummed to find they don't offer a machined aluminum version. I like to be able to soak a grinder in iso. Maybe that'll be a future offering?
