PALE BLUE DOT
Whatta great fucking post!

I stir after each draw, and am only getting 2-3 draws per pack.
LOL~ You are absolutely right about trying to keep loads from spilling into the heater port, I am totally focused on keeping my tip up! I guess it might be more relaxing to just throw a screen on, I am going to have to try for myself... for scientific research of course!

You are right about stirring pushes small debris through the screen, but I find it worth it for a harder hit.

When you say it pulls "harder" the more you stir, what do you mean?
Are you inferring it is harder resistance when you pull, or do you mean it is a harsher, more of a lung-buster kind of hit? (I lOVE lung-busters!!)

This session of CHERRY PIE was a blue vapor session!

No smoke!
I'm into low temperature vaporizing.
Last month was thick white clouds.
Mixing it up!

Purchased my nano the other day and early in the morning I got an email stating it shipped, the anticipation is killing me :X It's been two years of relying on my SSV, and this thing can't get here soon enough...especially with my stock depleting as the days go on and I continue to not do so well in my search for a new source...I need that nanos efficiency in my life badly!

Not wanting the XXXX to cool and shrink, I left it plugged in and pulled and pulled and pulled and pulled. Until finally, the XXXX broke free from my Nano.
Mate didn't anyone tell you that pulling too much ends in tears :D Sorry. I could not resist. Its not going to help you today but for the future I find that if you rub the slightest amount of either olive or coconut oil on the gong and perhaps on the connection of your bubbler the sticking should stop. I've had it stick a few times as well but fortunately no breaks.

I am also in possession of a newly made exotic E-nano made from some lovely Afzelia Burl courtesy of Snappo. I haven't had time for pics yet. I'm waiting on some Joda carbed gongs which should go nicely with it as well. Will try to post some pics this weekend ;)

HEY, HEY, HEYHEEEY, VAPE WEED EVERY DAY
How long does it typically take from the order being placed to being shipped out?

I convinced my brother to buy an enano last month. His got stuck in customs, but it took 2 weeks from the day he ordered for it to arrive in the UK, there was a £15 customs fee though. Still, 2 weeks seems really quick to me and I think you just have to get lucky with customs to avoid the fee.

Hello everyone, this is my first post, forgive me if I mess up. I ordered a new e-nano last week and received it on Saturday before the holiday weekend. I had the best vape week ever with it, and now it is not working. It's acting like there is a loose connection inside at first, now it's not working at all, maybe it lost all of its connection. In the beginning I could fiddle with the cord to get the light to come on, now I can't. I emailed epicvape's customer service and Andy's email as well, to see if they will let me open it and fix it myself without voiding my warranty. I haven't heard back yet, I'm dying to use it and I'm 99% confident it will be an easy fix I could do myself in 5 minutes. My question is should I be worried about voiding my warranty, or should I just pop it open and gitter done. Will I be able to reuse the cork feet after I peel them off ? I just got finished going through the warranty process with my arizer solo, I don't want to have to wait again. Thanks everyone I love this forum.

To be safe you should always assume that opening up an electronic product will void the warranty. I'd wait for a reply from Epicvape.

Here's a comment from Storz & Bickel posted in the Volcano thread-

"We often receive machines for repair that people have opened, hoping a pinched tube was their problem, too. Usually, this is not the case, but in opening their machine, they void the warranty, and sometimes damage the thermostat in the process. The thermostat is located behind the knob, and if the knob is not removed before the shell is taken off, the spring mechanism can be damaged. While we appreciate your intent, it is important to consider the bigger issue."

Im about 99% sure that if the bottom cover comes off the warranty is void. That way the company cannot be held liable even for a mistake someone makes while try to "fix" their own unit.

Welcome

I know exactly what Andy will say and has said before on this thread - if you open your Nano, you void your warranty. I suggest you do NOT open the nano. EpicVape can be a bit slow to respond, but with enough nagging they eventually come through. Your first step will be to log into the epicvape website and navigate to the returns section to begin the RMA process (open a new case)

You'll (eventually, may require some nagging) receive an email instructing you to (most likely) ship the whole nano back to EV with the RMA number printed on the box. Good luck! I'm still waiting on my replacement Nano after two and a half weeks (cracked figured walnut exotic wood) - thankfully I have a second Nano which is working GREAT (Afzelia burl)

This really is a shame. Especially for a device that is so simple, but I do understand user error and the ability to fuck things up. It just seems so wasteful to have to send it in (shipping both ways, Andy's time, downtime, etc) to fix something as simple as the screen shim. Not to mention the fact that ABV can build up inside the Nano, so those that want to cross borders and have an impeccably clean Nano, must void their warranty to clean it.

I also don't see how it would be known that the Nano has even been opened if you are careful with the cork pads.

If you think you can open yours so that Andy can't tell, why not go ahead and do it?

Already done, but I realize I void my warranty. IMO, whatever repair is needed isn't going to cost an arm and a leg anyway so i'm happy to pay it because the unit is designed so simply.

Does someone have some advice for cleaning the wire basket screens with iso-alcohol? I've been soaking them in a dish for a few hours and they're still quite clogged up. I've also moved them about in the iso with tweezers and shaken the dish a few times. Thanks.

I've never cleaned a basket screen when it had clogging issues. What I normally do is crank my E-Nano up to 7 and take about 3-5 pulls with a dry stem with the clogged screen and it clears it right up.

I think the stuff clogging it up is hash residue so I'd like to use iso if possible. I'm really missing the hash I get from using the all-glass stems. With those I used the scrape the tube every few weekis or so and get some nice strong hash. I've been using a basket stem for about a month or longer and it doesn't look like I'll have hash at least for a while. The only way I can get hash is to evaporate the alcohol from a jar that I've been reusing:( The massive advantage though with the basket stems is the draw power.

Get the ISO warm/hot so it dissolves better. Put it in a glass jar and place in a hot water bath to bring its temp up.

You can also use a dropper to force the ISO through the screens with some pressure, dissolving much quicker.
