@Vicki - good job, glad you are done. @Enchantre - Good luck finding hubby's glasses, I lost mine a few times like that and its a bitch.

Well I had to go back into the ER again this morning with that "spear through the chest" pain again. The good news is at 5 AM there is no one in the ER, I didn't have to wait a second. The bad news . . . remember those gall stones I told you guys about? Well . . . the ER doc is like "You need that out. Wanna referral to the surgeon?" Soooo fuck me. I'm gonna go see my PCP next week, try to get an endoscopy or something to rule this out but right now it looks like I'm going under the knife again. Will keep you all, my friends, updated.

First off... Congratulations @Vicki ... boy has this ever been a long time coming! I'd say a celebration is in order.

And then, Oh no @t-dub! Maybe it's just time to get rid of that old gall bladder and the pain it's been causing. Rather than an endoscopy though, wouldn't an ultrasound tell you what you need to know?

Yeah I had the ultrasound at the hospital and thats why they want it out. I'm just dreaming at this point trying to find some way out . . . I know it won't happen, I'm in denial . . .

Thank you@t-dub ! :)

I'm sorry you need surgery now! That blows! :(

I was thinking of celebrating somehow.

That's how I was every time my surgeon said I needed surgery this year.

Congratulations Vickie! No more torture.

Thank you @CarolKing ! I didn't like my new therapist, so I'm glad I don't have to see her anymore.

Yeah I just kinda blinked at him for a second and asked to talk to my PCP to stall the decision I guess and make sure I'm getting a good surgeon. I did make my appointment for next week though because we absolutely can not interfere with ESPN College Game Day and the Michigan State game!!! Can't miss that one, just have to take it easy on the fatty food at the tailgater . . . :uhoh:

I can see clearly now the smoke is gone...

It's usually an out-patient procedure these days. They use a scope much like knee surgeries etc. Still not good, but you shouldn't have much down time. I have them myself, but they elected not to remove them due to other complications.

It sounds sick, but if you have an attack in the meantime, one of the only things I have found to relieve the pain is to force myself to puke until there is nothing left. A gallstone attack is one of the most painful things imaginable and this is coming from someone who has skin grafts over a third of his body.

Good luck.

I read somewhere that wearing green is scientifically proven to reduce (and in some cases completely remove) gall stones. If it's on the internet, it must be true. You're welcome. ;)

It's always good to get a 2nd opinion! I'm really glad I did.

@ataxian , I've been reading about this product Canabinol. I've read your positive posts regarding this. I may decide to order some. Does this help with any pain in your experience? You said it helped with sleep.
Any side effects? It may help with arthritis - pain and inflammation.
For me @CarolKing I am having a hard time dealing with my disease! F^CK! I wanted to surf until I was 90!
I like many of you had to give up a stellar life style. I had no time for people in need! Now look at me!
Pay back I guess?

I have trouble sleeping so I vape like crazy before bed. With 4 drops under by tongue before bed I sleep through the night without needing to vaporize at 3 in the morning!

I still need my vaporizer sessions during the sun light hours. However before bed 4 nights in a row I had perfect sleep! I don't know if it's just me or would others benefit as well?
Besides the psychical effects I can get depressed. The CBD OIL makes me calm and that is a good thing. Arthritis?
I don't know?
In my case I find them cheap and effective! I believe some may find a use as well?
edit: Side Effects none so far!
My sleeping medicine gave me all kinds of side effects. (quit)
This is cheaper and works way better!

Yes, these tests are stupid, and no, they are not accurate. It's just for fun. I took a Batman test yesterday, and scored 18/18, though. That was a general knowledge test, and I love Batman. :)

I just find it ironic that these were my test results.

The addiction you're most inclined to have is Cannabis.

Open-minded, laid back, grounded, and a deep thinker. You also have a creative side that can manifest itself in all kinds of different pursuits from music to art. You don't have the energy for all the hustle and bustle of caffeine addicts or the crazy antics of drinkers. You just want to kick back, make some art, and stare gaze. The good news, is your chances of doing something dangerous while high is extremely low and marijuana is already legal in several U.S. States. Our advice? Head to Colorado.

I am completely devastated. One of our cats, Aramis, died unexpectedly today. We don't understand. She was only 10 years old, and she wasn't even sick. Aramis is the calico on the very left. Tinker is on the right. The black cat in the middle is her sister, Athos. Now there are only 2 Musketeers, Porthos and Athos.
