is what I use in this situation.
I use this same piece along with an Extreme Q "18/18 Female/female" piece as a direct hit Herbailzer mouthpiece... I put my lips on the part the would go into your tubing, and just sit the 18 female on Herbie's bowl.

I'm back ya'll!
My first 3D printed ceramic prototype of the 18mm GonG adapter arrived yesterday! Gotta say I'm impressed. The part is quite close to the actual dimensions I ordered. Although unfortunately I was off by about 1mm (the glaze was thicker than I expected) and it looks to have shrank slightly overall. Fortunately a dremel worked GREAT to remove some of the excess material to make a perfect fit.
The colors are a bit washed out, but it's a pastel avocado green (customer request). The glaze overall is quite nice, and I think the piece would hold up very well. Sadly, it will be another month before I receive the second prototype and confirm a good fit. Hopefully after this next revision, I'll have the part finalized and ready for direct orders on my shapeways store!

No clue! I don't have an herbie (I wish). I designed the adapter at the request of several fellow members of this thread.
We'll have to wait for this adapter to arrive in the hands of an herbie owner to hear how it works.
The adapter is made from ceramic, it's food safe (vapor safe) up to 500C, shouldn't be any problems with off-gassing. I will be ordering the second ceramic prototype later today. I will have the new prototype in 4 weeks. At that time I'll determine if the part is ready for the next phase of testing.

You worked on Trident II, Bob on the Stealth Bomber – how did you meet?
“Bob and I met at Maxwell Technologies here in San Diego when we were working on single board supercomputers for satellites. They’re incredibly durable with lots of redundancy, can be used in extreme cold and heat as well operate through ionizing radiation from galactic rays.”
What prompted you to make this transition from weapons of mass destruction to vapes of peace?
“We were annoyed with the company and had bigger dreams. Up late one night, I got a google popup for a vaporizer, thought it was really cool and wanted to buy one. But I looked at the reviews of what was out there and was disappointed. I thought I could do better."
"I talked to Bob and we started sketching ideas, did a market analysis and it seemed like there was a real business potential. Two months later I quit my job, sold everything I had and haven’t looked back. Then Sheila, my other business partner, helped me raise well over a million dollars to complete the research and development.”
What inspired combining vaportherapy and aromatherapy in one device?
“Initially, everyone was marketing these things as aromatherapy vaporizers and from a legal standpoint it seemed smart to include this function. So it was an afterthought, but as we got further into the design I sought out an amazing aromatherapist in San Diego called Nancy and she explained how it worked, what was going on, and gave me various essential oils and testimonials. I figured that true aromatherapy really works and we should integrate it."
"It works so well with our machine because the vaportherapy gives you the direct delivery for immediate effects, then the aromatherapy extends and balances the effect to complete it. So I think of it like a yin and yang system, where the yin is the strong part – the vaportherapy – and the yang is the conclusion of it, and together they are amazing."
"Eventually we aim to have complimentary sets of all legal herbs and essential oils that harmonize together. We’re not there yet but we’re working hard on it.”

The Herbie’s also very functional, with a low centre of gravity and everything fits snugly inside. I presume this is the result of your work on lightweight space payloads?

That’s something you get from working at NASA – reliability built into the design, as opposed to adding something on after the fact to make it stronger. Every single component has durability designed into it."
"The key thing is the temperature precision. I’m highlighting that as a lot of people moved away from vapor as it was too intense and they got paranoid. If you keep your Herbie at Uplifting you get mostly terpenes and little visible vapor. It’s like a cup of coffee and perfect for the morning. Then the sedative and pain relieving parts boil off in the Intense zone."
"It’s an advanced way of vaping and can be confusing, but bear with me. If you go straight to Intense (445 degrees) with a fresh bowl, you’ll boil off everything. If you’re a smoker or bong user, that’s where you get the feeling you’re after; really heavy clouds that’ll knock you on your butt."

Has anyone corroborated this? No, because they didn’t have the equipment to do it and there was no incentive to do it in the past."
"If you Google ‘cannabinoid boiling point temperature’ you’ll find the very limited data out there. Steephill labs, one of two main testing labs in US has some that’s repeated all over the place, but they didn’t create it themselves. It all comes from an early ‘90s medical journal, but I’ve never seen supporting data. But it’s best we have – use it as a guideline only. We will be heading up new research soon.”
Concentrates are just taking off in the Netherlands, after the US led the way. How do they work out in the Herbalizer?
“Spread or drop any kind of concentrated extracts onto the included stainless steel aromapad, and drop it in the bowl. Run at high temperature (400-445F), and it melts into the pad and vaporizes with near perfect efficiency. Compared to how they’re used with torch and glass, they’re still burning/superheating, so there’s a so lot of loss. You’ll get at least 2-3 times the vapor with Herbalizer; 8-10 bags with a little bit of wax!”
Editors Note: The Herbie uses three fans; a dedicated high power for blowing up the balloon, a dedicated cooling fan, and an aroma fan in a separate pathway and system. There’s a microprocessor, external memory, an accelerometer – it’s a very smart device. You can see the satellite experience, packing so much into small space.

Thanks for posting that Vicki. Very interesting interview. I'm so impressed with the Herbalizer and the whole Herbalizer team. During the interview they talked a lot about the benefit of precise temperature control. That is so huge!! The ability to absolutely zero in on the exact temperature for the effects desired is a game changer for sure. Like Josh said, through temperature control and extraction method you can make a sativa feel like an Indica and vice Versa. You don't have that type of control and versatility when combusting that's for sure.
On another note, I was wondering if anyone has tried kief in the Herbie bowl. Would the bottom screen contain the kief or would it sift through the screen?

Yeah, I think you're right. I should probably place a little weed at the bottom. Fuck,, I might as we'll make a kief sandwich because it seems that the kief would be so light and airy that it might get sucked up into the top screen too easily. Anyway, I'm having a small party tonight.. about 10 or 12 people. I'll serve cocktails, assorted appetisers and, of course, KIEF SANDWICHES. I'll let everyone know it goes... Hopefully it won't gunk up the bowl at all...

Sprinkle a little bud 1 armoapad then all the keif you want.
Then place the other aromapad ontop of the keif (so it's locked between two aromapads)
Along with some herb on top of that (if you want) and you should be fine! Keep the brush handy!
I've demoed this to 5 people and 4 of them have purchased their own units.

]I do ethier straight kief pack or kief bed on bottom with some flower on top. The higher quality the kief the faster it will gum up your top screen. Brushing in between bowls helps. The amount that gets through the top screen is very minimal.
Just sat down and did an EVO vs Herbalizer kief battle. Each Vape was a winner and I lost the battle, had to tap out. The two vapes are like gladiators, each one has different style ,pro/con, etc, but both are top of the line proffesionals that will kick your ass or incapacitate you no problem. Bedtime.

I vape kief regularly in the Herbie with no issue, although the first few pulls seem to clog the top screen, but I always pull off the bowl and blow back into the whip the clear the top screen without fussing. And if you make a sandwich with bud it should help with that.

Its under an ounce of unpressed that took the shape of the jar. Its hard to say how much I pack at a time, less than .1g, maybe .05g or less. It doesn't take much and I prefer smaller packs. Either way Herbie makes the most of your material and this should last quite sometime. Herbie is a beast with any hash you throw at it.
Herbie is hitting so hard these day I may have to pair a water tool with her.

I went with the kief sandwich method...a thin layer of Trainwreck on the bottom then a bunch of Chemdawg kief then a thin layer of train on top. It was so bomb!! I had about 12 people over last night and made about 20 of those kief sandwiches. Herbie handled the workload like a champ! Everyone got seriously lifted. Even after all those bowls the screens didn't gum up one bit. I'm glad I purchased an extra bowl as it comes in handy for heavy use nights like last night...
Everyone thought Herbie was awesome! However, there were two die hard smokers who just had to smoke a blunt. I told them to head to the backyard because I didn't want them to smoke that shit in my house. They didn't even want to try the Herbalizer. Oh well, their loss!!

Started at 400F then 420F then 445F for full extraction. I pretty much did that on every bowl. With Herbie I've found that vapeing under 400F simply does not produce enough thick vapor for me. I always start at 400F then work my way up from there. For the concentrate pad it's 445F right from the start...
An eighth of bud and a gram of kief was all it took for 12 people to get very medicated and some had somewhat high tolerances. These same 12 people smoking joints would use at least double that amount (probably more). Ya gotta love the efficiency of vapeing!!!

Sure, but I do believe the current model is 110v only, you can use a converter, but I'm not 100% on the warranty at that point...@Vapodudule, IIRC wasn't your herbie out of action for a while? Did you have it warrantied internationally by PV?
