I agree with @HSIHP The e-Nano cured my VAS - sure I upgraded to an exotic Afzelia (and I have a new replacement exotic of unknown wood shipping money - can't wait for that shipment :spliff:). But the Nano has cured my VAS - I see a few other portable vapes that I might like, but in reality, I have enough good quality vapes and have no need for another.

If only I could get my GAS under control! :science:
(Figures I found a local shop blowing awesome custom glass for cheap, just as I promise my wife I'll stop!)

you can use an 14mm to 18mm adaptor but you would need to buy that. whoever you asked was confused because the opening for the downstem is 18/19mm, but the opening for the slide or gong is only 14mm.

I really am interested in this vape and branching out from my SSV, but my concern is whether or not this vape is too wide for my water piece - the tube im working with is pretty much the same outter shape aa this

Does this seem impossible to make work with the e nano? Or do you all think i may be able to figure out something?

You guys are so helpful. I just wrote the epic vape customer support to see if I can get it worked out before the 19mm gets shipped.

So, just to confirm, with that glass, that I linked and already own for when I use to combust, all I need is the 14mm and I'm straight? Cause all I gotta do is take a trip over to my friends house to get my piece back as I left it by mistake. I just don't want to make the trip if it turns out I need a million pieces. If that's the case I can just order a different piece.

At first I didn't like using the gong. Now I am getting the hang of it and that's all I am using now. My question is, do you turn the heat up and if so how much. I dry hit at 6.75, I tried higher and it gets to tasting pretty bad. I am still testing and learning.
Oh, WOW, nice nano @LazyIdol !

@Toastface_Killah you would just need an 18mm gong adapter i believe... its hard to be 100% without the measurements.

Yeah I understand I need the 18mm, i'm just a little bit concerned before I pull the trigger on purchasing one that it may be a little bit too wide to attach/sit evenly on my water tube haha- my Solo fits fine so it isn't like it is that cramped of a space, but from the videos and pics i'm seeing, most nanos seem to be a bit wider...On the tube in question theres about 1 inch of space between the joint and the side of the can, and just shy of two inches of height between the joint and where the can ends and the amount of space opens up significantly

that is good point...i'm just a tad weird when it comes to neatness/orderliness and ideally I'd like to not have to add a bunch of parts to a piece, but now that I'm thinking about it I don't know why I was being so dense and not able to think this one through

I always recommend to just get both sizes of Gongs. Or, get a simple 14>18 adaptor along with the 14mm Gong (easy to find online or local). Any glass (larger than a 10) should be workable, then.

It's glass, it won't spoil or go bad on you.

You could use a claisen adapter/Cloud Buddy, this would be dual purpose. Giving you the clearance and allowing you to clear the piece and prevent blowback by using a stopper.

Or you could add a tad bit of silicone tubing to your dry stem, turning it into a GonG of sorts. Makes it a PITA to remove from a GonG joint though.

Or you can order a larger custom GonG from JoDa Glassworks, with or without a carborator. This would keep it simple with only one glass piece, but would be the most costly.

I may actually look into this now that I know about it! I'm still thinking i'm going to buy both the 18 and 14mm GonG joints since currently I have a 18 to 14 reducer so that may be all I need for some clearance on the tube, but a worked GonG with some added distance is extremely appealing to add to the setup overtime lol

I guess my last concern is then whether or not to pick the adjust a bowl or the all glass GonGs first...but I'm sure I can spend some time going through this thread and deciding on a style..

I don't think I've got the technique right. I'm hardly getting any smoke unless it's on 8.75+

What am I doing wrong? I'm just using the nano stem, no water attachments or anything.
