I can't find any information about the temperature ranges for this unit. Anyone know?

would like to know more about the v2 series 3 dry herb mod! doesn anyone here have a series 3?!
My Niece has one on the way, no loose leaf cartridge though . . .

Here is Jan Andries with the V2 Pro product line overview, LOVE the bunny with the crossbones . . . :)

I almost purchased a series 3 for myself but I really want the Series 7. It looks like the loose leaf cartridge in the Series 3 works but is small, probably way too small for me. Actually my desires for a portable run in the essential oil category for strength, ease of use, and small form factor so I cant wait for the essential oil cartridge to come out. The Series 9 might be in my future next year.

The series 3 cart says this: Preset Range 160°C - 180°C

No temps out on the Series 7, optimized for loose leaf, but it will have 3 temperature presets. Series 9 will be adjustable in 1C* increments.

He just stated that at ORANGE it gets to 170C then it increases temp still and then will turn green but he doesent say what it gets up to. Im very interested in this product and may purchase one.

It must max out at 180*C then when it turns green . . . good catch . . . :)

could get one myself, but somehow I think I will not be pleased and better wait for one of the other v2s. However, I might be wrong and this is the first real 3 in 1 pen vaporizer. I would truely love such a device (in that case, I would say: screw the 7 and 9 series!).
170°C is too cold though, even 180°C is very less.

I recently ordered a pro 3 for e liquids since I'm beginning to start the process of quitty cigs. For those who have a v2 strictly for e liquids, how is compared to other vaporizing cigs?

Thanks

Love the look of the series 7 and 9. Can't wait to see how they handle dry herbs once they're released!

ok the series 3 came in today. Out of the package everything feels quality. Fit & finish is nice, the tank looks amazing. You can tell the threads are well made and they have a heavy duty feel like the rest of the device. The one tank that came with the unit had a slight plastic taste but the extra 2 are perfect. I have read about this taste online and it can be cleaned. The magnetic connections are slick and work perfectly. Now I'm no e-cig guy so the draw on this thing seems tight to me but what do I know. We will know more when my niece gets home from work and hits this thing. I have it charging now.

Well the initial results are in and they are awesome! My niece loves the Series 3! I had it all charged up for her when she came home from work last night. She filled the tank and after letting the wicks wet for a minute fired it up. Instant, thick, tasty vapor clouds. She was doing all of her vapor tornado tricks and having a blast so I had to try it. I agreed with her that the flavor is better than on the Thermovape AVA of mine she wore out. Also turns out the draw is fine. I was lung hitting it like a joint and that was not good, I need to "puff" it more, but she thought the draw was perfect and the shape of the non-round mouthpiece didn't bother her a bit.

One thing she really likes about the Series 3 is that the tank is covered. For her its a privacy issue. She doesn't want a visible tank showing the world what, and how much, she has in there. The covered tank also offers a layer of protection from breaking that gives her peace of mind. So far not a single leak or drop of juice in her mouth either. A quote from our tester . . .
My niece said:
After one day of vaping I haven't found anything not to like . . . :)
So I am really impressed with the V2 Pro Series 3. Its a quality device that so far has delivered on all of its claims for e-juice. I keep fighting the urge to order one but I really want to get the Series 7 when it comes out since it is maximized for loose leaf and has bigger cartridges and 3 temps. More l8tr . . . :peace:

I received my pro series 3 yesterday after the initial long wait. I haven't had a craving for a cigarette all day yesterday. It's so much smaller and lighter than those huge metal ones my friends use. I'm not going to get the LL cartridge though. I can just tell by looks that the device is too small to be truly effective, but if you're looking into e juice and vapes, I'd recommend the pro series 3

its smaller and lighter, but cant fit a battery that will last as long as your friends mods. and you cant change the cell at will as with mech mods. besides you can find some pretty small mech mods coming out lately.

this looks interesting for flowers. i will be watching this one.

So far the battery has lasted 2 days on a single charge without dying, heavy use, and the charging cable is also a pass-through so you can vape and charge at the same time. Charging is quick via USB and even faster with the optional wall charger.

sounds great, but have you been using it as often as an ecig user puffs on their mods?

i know guys who go through two 18650s a day vaping ejuice. for oil purposes an 18650 can last 4 or 5 days for myself.

i would be very surpised if this cell lasts as long as a good 18650 is all. i could be wrong. def wouldnt be the first time!

Our tester is my niece. She uses it basically when she is awake . . . ;) Which is a lot. Now she can't vape while she is working obviously but there are breaks. She probably doesn't vape as much as a guy who is into it but she does a fair amount of tricks etc. Anyways, we will see how long this first charge lasts. I'm not saying this thing has the power of an 18650 just that it seems to be more than enough for convenient use.

Are the tanks glass or plastic? I've heard some juice flavors can degrade plastic tanks.

Well it finally died last night so 2 days is what she got. A short nightly charge should be more than adequate.

id say for this unit that is pretty damn impressive. just too bad you cant swap cells.

does the herb chamber come off of the handle? could it be attched to a different power source?

That is caused by acidic juice I believe. V2 says the material they chose will not do this but its not glass I believe. Don't have one here to check.

The herb chamber slides in and out just like a tank, that's the whole idea. My niece is using multiple tanks so she doesn't have to mix e-juice flavors. I don't think an alternate source would work, unless it was another Series 3, due to the gold-pin "computer" connection on the bottom of the tank that tells the battery how to behave.
