Yes, the Broncos piece was ok, got the job done BUT the SCS is a large cut (shred?) above it :)
SCS is just so smooth in the shred action and the screwing it together/apart action (the threads).

Like I said, the SCS threads were super smooth but I dabbed on a little Grinder Grease which makes most units have a smoother threading action. It actually added some friction as the bare threads were that smooth/slick so I wiped it off.
Same thing with the grinding/shredding motion. Without bud the Bronco is ok action until you try the SCS which feels like it's on roller bearings in comparison.
Grinding bud--I do small amount but even then the SCS is way smoother/ easier action.

Love my SCS.

If that were coming to Canada, the Canada Post tracking would follow it but in my experience, the USPS tracking often won't. Keep trying your Ozzie Post tracking (which doesn't show any movement right now either).

Got a single chamber 8 ball grinder I payed $4 for at the corner shop a year ago, it's a little oxidized on the outside from hands. But, it hasn't broke, minus the kief screen...

Mine has arrived. Discussing some things with VapeLife via email before giving any positive/negative reviews about buying from them, but I can vouch for Santa Cruz Shredders as a company. Solid metal, magnet locking is superb, grinding is a dream, the bowl of the 3 piece is perfect for scooping out of, and every last bit falls in when it reaches the right consistency.. It looks gorgeous as well. It's a dream to use. Build like a champ! Get one today!!!

They are a good company! It looks like an honest mistake. The grinder showed up in a little padded envelope wrapped in bubblewrap. VapeLife say that they do not touch or tamper with any goods that they receive from SCS, they just make the order and then ship it to customers straight away. However the grinder had about 4 defects, 2 scratches on the top and base, and 2 visible dents on the sides.
I have asked them to remedy it and by the sounds of things they are going to let me keep this one and also send out another medium 3 piece (whatever colour they have lying around) plus another free grinder/gift.
I wont have to pay postage so its essentially 2 for the price of one, and the dents are not large but it's enough to justify sending them an email saying 'This isn't acceptable'

Will post here on how the email convo progresses, and if they follow through on their replacement then I have nothing but good things to say about their customer service :)
The grinder is a champ though!

Yeah, unfortunately I have to not recommend VapeLife.. They backed out of their origional offer after an email from them last night saying 'Australia is a long way away... How can we trust you?'
After explaining that I have nothing to gain by seeking a replacement or compensation, I simply want to remedy the situation with them.. They have agreed to return it if I send the defective one, and pay for postage for the 2 journeys. An additional $45'ish on what I expected to spend, so stuck with a slightly damaged grinder.
Their website says that returns / replacements can be arranged if the defective item is returned, and that they pay for postage in these situations but no sign of that kindness in the email chat. Bit of a disappointment

That's why, if you can, buy within Australia as you're covered by consumer rights protection. A hefty tax I know, but also an assurance:2c:

That being said, all of the Americans I've ever dealt with have been on the up and up fortunately, pity you snagged a bad egg:(

Hopefully you've got some righteous bud to use in that grinder to ease the pain:)

I've arced up a bit and am further discussing this with VapeLife. Trying to come to a happy resolution, will let ya'll know how it goes! Wish me luck :)
I do have some nice herb to grind in it as well! A friend came across some AK47 last night which i got 4 grams of :) First time ever trying it, wow! Blown away. Lovely high! I'll save it for when I need a real good pick-me-up and body relaxation high :)

So here it is. It was quite difficult to grind it because grinder is so small, but I wanted it that way. Got some white widow from friend. Before, after and final product:
