Discontinued Vapolution 2.0

Made some quick aiwb-style oil bowls. Works great.

What is the efficiency like for the oil attachment , compared to say the enano? The price tag is so low for this vape I might get it just to use with oils.

Nice custom setup. Impressive.

I like the bent oil bowl. How do you get oil into that one? Through the hole?

Thanks, it's become my preferred setup as of late.

Yes, loading on those stems I made is through the hole. I'm not overly concerned about herbal concentrate leaking out into the heater as I imagine it wouldn't do much harm - it'd just go up in smoke, I figure.

You are right, it will not do any harm to the heater physically, but it could leave residue on the heater that can be hard to remove.

I have been using this vape almost daily for the past five months and have experimented with many different packs. Some have worked very well others not so great. I think i finally figured out the best pack for airflow one long pellet completely flattened packed vertically in the middle of the chamber. Doing this allows perfect airflow, nothing dropping out of the glass into the heater, and huge tasty clouds. The only requirement is your herb cant be too dry.

Wow Coflycasr ,
just tried your suggestion and got great results.
I've been looking at the resin that is just in front of the bend
of my aiwb wondering how to claim it.
In an epiphany I realized I could torch the glass and inhale the vapour.
The shit worked. :ko:
Yea it is the best way i have found fo sho. My wife partakes very lightly usually taking two small inhales per session. When i used that pack a few nights ago, she was coughing from two little pulls. She then proceeded to state that she was stoned and was this different herb than what we had been vaping. It was all attributed to that packing method. Fucking love it.

Around here we call that "vapor crack". It is good stuff and should not go to waste.

Curious if anyone has used Vapolution 2.0 with DMT. Seems the concentrate setup would work well and be a safer way to use. I called the Vapolution guys but they have not heard of anyone using with DMT so far. Thanks in advance!

Any way to clean the bowl, @ataxian ? I'll bet you get better taste.
I saw that in the photo!

I'll clean it since I cleaned all my glass recently.

I use the VAPOLUTION dry.

Too bad it wasn't smaller and fit a water piece like a NANO.
Plastic is better than wood actually. Don't need my medical device to be an art piece. IMHO
I can rig tubing however the flavor is destroyed.
Tubing is like dumpster diving!

It's cheap however if it was smaller and fit water pieces it would be a number one vaporizer.

I would get a more powerful vaporizer however coughing up a lung takes away the medical benefits of cannabis for me.

The Vapolution 2.0 has a flavor profile that is addicting!

I'll keep my ego in my pocket and my wallet full instead!
@Snappo I can't believe I just said that? LOL!

I've already ruined my vape by aggressive cleaning, and I should have learned my lesson but here goes:
Soaking in alcohol overnight works a little and is a safe way to clean but I'm a bit of an asshole and I get my heat port
squeaky clean using a piece of brillo pad and a long q tip.
I wrap the brillo around the cotton tip add water and spin the hell
out of it then rinse. I do not apply any pressure as that made the insulation (mic a chips ) enter the heat port of my old vape.

I love using the orbital bubbler with this vape even though the taste is compromised a bit. The vapor visuals make up for the lack of taste.

No videos of the Vapo 3.0 that I've seen yet ! What you where watching in action with that video is available right now for your vaping pleasure.

Still lovin' the Vapolution !
I got a couple of new strains yesterday.

Pineapple Kush excellent flavor
GSC the best batch I've had in 2 years.

To judge these properly I'm firing up the VAPOLUTION 2 to verify.
If the V3 is has good as the V2 I'm all over it!

Just got a Solo recently, as an addition to the LB I'm ready to fuck combustion for good! Eyeing this thread for news of the v3. If the price point is as good a deal as the v2 I will hold out for the 3.

I would love to be among first buyers of a new unit! I did get my current vapes because of their tried and true reputations though.
Welcome aboard!

I love joints however their way too harsh now! Once you vaporize for a while you will only Vaporize.
The SOLO replaced my MFLB.
The V2 I test most of my strains.
The AIWB I use the most.
Not my driver like it once was however I still use it a lot.
The V3 I look forward to!

Awesome! I probably should wait though, my wallet is thin but I have a full jar and a new vape.. :ko: Time to start replenishing the savings. Have been eyeing a VaporBrothers as well but like I said, if this sleek new v3 has as good of a price point as the v2, I don't think there's any reason to try another desktop. Like to hear that Vapolution has built the design from the inside out!

@ataxian, I also have a fondness for joints, definitely the most relaxing way to smoke. Nostalgic but I'm not 16 anymore! Not old either, just more aware. My dear dad is going through cancer treatment currently. He's gonna live but it was seriously a wake up call for a lifestyle change. Don't care if nobody's ever had cancer directly correlated with cannabis use, smoking isn't healthy! All my combustion accessories have been wrapped up and placed in a public trash can
I hope your Dad is OK!

Hey guys,

Think I'm about to pull the trigger on one of these. This will be my very first vape. (Up until now, it's been pipes and joints... never smoked out of a bong.) Should I get it from the website, and if so, does the old promo code still work?

Also, which attachments (if any) are good to pick up right away?

I think through the website is def the way to go @darius. I don't own one myself but I hear the AIW bowl is a must have. The buddy bowl or vapor barrel with a carb would be a nice addition too-for some variety.

The AIWB is a must.
Then you have to get your technique down with pellet size , heat range and cooking time.
Just check out the comments in this thread, very helpful.

Hey guys,

Just got a VP2.0 this week with the AIWB, which is my very first vape, and I wanted to share initial impressions so far:

First, the pros:
I can get a buzz going with much less herb than smoking, it's a lot gentler on my throat and lungs, and doesn't fill a room up with smoke. In fact, it doesn't leave much of an odor at all. I can vape and not have to take a shower afterward to get the smell off. People rave about the taste with the glass on glass setup - I'm just not sure I'm the kind of person to care about what a plant tastes like, but it's a HELL of a lot better than smoking.

On the other hand, the highs I get with this thing aren't as strong as what I got with smoking, and the highs don't last as long either, so I find myself making frequent trips back to the bowl. As a result, I really don't know if I'm actually conserving that much material or not. (I never measured either way.) I'm not sure if this is an issue with this particular unit or vaping in general, but it could be that I'm still getting the hang of this thing. I've only read the first 6 or so pages of this thread, so I suspect I have more learning to do before I completely master it.

I guess the only real issue I have with the VP2.0 specifically is the way you load the herbs. I find that loading too much makes it hard to vape and loading too little causes it to fall out of the bottom. My current batch is a little dry with some stems in it, so I always end up poking myself when rolling it between my fingers, as suggested. I really wish I could just grind it instead.

As it is, I will continue to use this vape, but for the time being, it isn't going to be a complete replacement to smoking for me. I think I'll end up vaping most of the time, and save smoking for those special occasions when I want to get really stoned :)

YOUR preaching to the choir!
I'm the opposite of you.
Smoking makes me vomit and the effect is:
Paranoid and the flavor is like eating dinner out of a trash can!
After time you will use less and flavor will become noticeable.

Take a break and quit smoking, the vapor high is a lot different than a smoking high. But if you quit combusting for two weeks and only use vapor, you will be satisfied. Combustion is just gross..
