thanks

so........i'm currently using an aspire nautilus to vape my ejuice. presently i'm using 1.8 ohm coils at 5.1-5.2 watts (about 3.05v at 5.2w according to my evic). can i run this on my persei? yes i have the thread adapter coming, but will it work with an aspire tank? might i need a new tank or at least different coils? (i' think i can get a 2.4ohm coil that would do the trick)
3v is lower than the lowest normal persei operation. can i crank the iris down enough to match that? do i need to up to higher resistance coils to match the 3.7v setup for the persei?
eventually i'm going to switch to rebuildables but my vape budget is pretty blown at the moment and i'm content with my nautilus.
the hercules is the main thing that attracted me to the persei, but the, "one platform for all needs" feel i get from the variety of attachments and the amount cutting edge innovation i see is what finally sold me. that and the fact that i can forever pay a reasonable fee to have it serviced, updated and warrantied make it a future compatible platform which is rare. in an industry like vaping? UNHEARD OF!

also, it would be extremely helpful if someone had instructions for the iris v1 and the hammer tops. particularly the iris v1. i'm on w9tech.com and they aren't there anymore. i did grab the general persei manual and the sr71 v3 manual. also grabbed the sr71 v1 manual from planetvape.

The question is: not many lunas or ceras have been sold, and with the cartridges needing constant rebuilds that the company has to do, then do we make a product that has a end date?, investing now in the production of the top cap would be crazy. I am not sure what we will do, we need think about this as many people will just stop using there carts all together now since it cant be rebuilt and i am afraid the top caps will be just sitting here as we need large production numbers to even get them off the ground, or each top cap will be expensive if we do small number.

And i doubt majority will migrate either. If you look at what has happened many supporters of the Cera and Luna have gone from touting only buying the "best" to buying ecigs now and converting them over to use with LAyG style carts.

I will not bash the company that was our only competition but loyalty is only pocket deep.

Is there any chance to buy an 8 with an extra adaptor, either thread pattern is fine, that way I can tap out one to a 3/8 fine thread and Ill be able to use it with your products as well?

It would not work as the top cap itself is to thin, and would have to be screwed almost all the way out to allow the EO to be screwed all the way in, we are still thinking about top cap for TET as it needs to be thicker and allow the air path.

I have one here ill take a pic and show you if you wish.

Im not sure but a limited quantity run of these things will see a price of about $40-$60 for each top cap, and we need to sell about 50 of them to produce, now if we can get over 500 pre sold, the price will go down dramatically.

Here is an alternative to think about to the EO, our Triton is totally user serviceable, and is shorter then the Hercules, and has a 1 year warranty.

and here is the image of the EO on the 8

I would really like to see these pics, I have really been wanting an 8 and wouldn't mind spending anther $50 on a nice adaptor. You said you've already gotten 500+ cycles from a test design. I'll start a list in the cera thread and see how many people are interested. Thanks G.
Edit. What is the triton?

@Soflo @darkrom

here is a family photo of the Persei with the Hercules and Triton configurations. Size wise compared to the TET Cera.

The Triton is additional heater design we are working on for the Okeanos Micro bubbler listed here

It can be used without the bubbler section. Thats the glass section on top or it can up to you.

Basically we are building a Vaporizer constructor set. Mix and match type of thing thats getting crazy atm.

Is the triton a load as you go type heater? I saw it says it has a ceramic wic ,but was unsure of the capacity

The 18350 version is not confirmed yet so don't count on that.

As for amount you can load that's still being tested.

@Soflo one thing you have to understand the triton is 100% user serviceable and it doesn't need a foil test to load.

Ok. I am a TET refugee, and I'm not going to wait for my Luna and Cera to fail before I make the transition. I was actually going back and forth between the Cera and Hercules. I chose the Cera because it seemed simpler; appears I chose wrong.

At any rate, I am planning to get a Persei, Hercules, some AW IMR 18350s to run the Hercules, and a Nitecore
charger. That should have me covered, right? Missing anything critical? Thanks.

wait for the 8, and get a unit built to last a long long time.

As for being easy take into consideration the herc will take any oil, the EO wouldnt.

What is better about the 8 over the persei? Right now the pre order is a bit cheaper than the persei which seems like a bonus.

The 8 is a full mechanical unit that has a replaceable circuit board, basically making it no down time at all. Just have the spare parts and bam your never going down.

@THC SCIENTIFIC do u think the okeanos pre orders will start to ship next week?

The Okeanos should start shipping around the 5-9th of September as it has been shipped from our manufacturing plant to here for final QC, once that is done it should be out the door in 24 hour turn around time.

The 8 does sound cool, although I might wait until it's been out in the wild for a little while.

Otherwise, I have everything on the list to come out strong from day one, right?
