Discontinued The Persei Vaporizer for herbs and concentrates.

yes, and also in the 8.

Ok update guys,

I have a few SR71 bare bone kits with the older markings on the teflon pieces, and the bottom adapters are not for the Nibbler XL's if anyone wants to chime in and if there is demand for them ill put them up for sale.

Remember this is bare bones SR71 and only has one Ti Coil inside.

No box, no tool, no manual as the manual is on the site.

The markings on the Teflon pieces will say Hercules 7.4v in actual reality its a 71 inside and the bottom adapter will not be usable with the Nibbler XL

Will still have the 1 year warranty.
Yess im very interested!

So, I've pulled the trigger on a persei package that includes the iris v1 and the old school sr71. Super stoked to see if she lives up to my expectations when it arrives.

Sorry for buying used instead of direct from uptech Gary, just had to have those parts! No worries though, I plan to upgrade when the iris v2 is out and I see an 8 in my future if I fall in love with my new gear, plus whatever other irresistible goodies you mad vape innovators tempt me on in the future.

Dont even worry brotha, the Iris is a fine tool to use with the 71, please read and understand the SR71 manual online before you tear into it. It is a very unforgiving cartridge when not assembled correctly.

@darkrom i was thinking about what you said earlier and i understand your concerns but please take into consideration that we update and update because we listen, take for instance the issue you had with another manufacturer who never really did updates. Which would you like? i guess its damned if you do and damned if you dont and i do understand that.

Just a thought.

Trust me I feel you on that one. I LOVE the activity and never settle motto. I just hate feeling like I can't keep up. Definitely me complaining on both sides though...

I think the sr-74 is in my future once I can send in my persei for rebuilding.

I owe it a shot for sure. The rebuildable part is quite nice and I've always liked the titanium coils in it.

How much concentrate can I load at once with that thing?

@THC SCIENTIFIC looks like FC Persei thread can easily buy at least 20-30 SR-71!!!!!! Is that enough market demand? Lol or do you have wood pallets stocked sky high with SR-71 weapons?? Let us know when they go up for sale. I am sure many members will buy them instantly!

Is there a wiki or other source covering all the various iterations of THC Scientific/Uptech devices?

Hmm gotta take a look at it. I know our new system makes sure our reviews are by people who purchased our unit and all are verified, but I didnt know the question system was screwed up.

Im lost as i just tried it and it works good. Can you show me an image? or maybe a link to the product?

Why don't you make an SR-74 kit?

We are making the SR74x kits, they are in production, but few people want the sr71 kits and we have a few lying around we can make working units. Why not if people want it right?

Ok guys well try to make as many Complete SR71 units as possible, what ever parts we have left might end up throwing them up on the site if they are useful.

I hate to say this but I hate the 74-x. I bought the upgrade for both my units, but I found that it was only good with 7.4 volt. At 3.7, which I prefer, the rod only sticks into the upper chamber a nubs worth, and that keeps it from getting as hot and dealing the monster hits of the 74 version.

I switched my two 74x back to sr-74, and I will probably cry like a little bitch when they break if I can't get new ones.

I don't want a full SR71 complete unit - I was hoping for a "conversion kit" for us existing SR74x users, just swapping out the bottom bits. Is that possible, G?

I'm lost both rods are the same length. How can it not work?
