Ended up getting it from NamasteVapes, and they threw in some free stuff and gave me free postage because I asked for it :) Plus 10% off coupon code which is a promotion running for the next 3 hours. I saved $47 off my order and grabbed a spare battery. Total cost was $337.45 AUD ($314.34 US Dollars)

How is your order processing. I ordered mine just now and worked out 337.45

You sent a payment of $337.45 AUD to NamasteVapes (and I payed about 3 days ago)

Our Fireflies will be twins :)
little bit fking expensive for us aussies, and I grabbed a spare battery too, but it'll be worth it I hope! :) Until my Firefly arrives I am still unable to vape anywhere other than in my bedroom :( Very limiting!

Twins of different mother :)

Was kind of hoping that you would say it arrived. I'm a little inpatient with these things.
I also purchased the ssv on Sunday night same store and now have to wait an extra two weeks for a 220v.
As they say shit happens. Lol.

Yea just received confirmation that it's now been shipped. No tracking number but I did notice, if you look in your account at the namastevapesaust web site you will see the tracking number.
Mines coming from FL which I believe is Florida not Australia. Eta is Monday :)

So I finally got off my ass long enough to go the post office and pick up the torx bit I needed. I decided to snap a picture of the lid disassembled while i had the chance, and once I'm all done grinding I can start trying to fit the lotus WPA into the hole.

I never made an account on their site, however the Live Chat function was useful! One of their customer support guys is acquiring a tracking number for me and will email it to me asap. It's Friday in Australia, so if it doesn't come today hopefully it arrives on monday :)

I go where the thrills are
Firefly support has been AMAZING to me. I really want to thank Shelby. In a time of need she overnighted a replacement to me. She also confirmed there is in fact no defect with the red units, that was just a rumor.

Shelby is awesome. Really helped me this week when my red replacement was itself faulty. Then that one had a bad lid, and she overnighted me a new one. I didn't hear any rumors about the reds being defective....

Messing with those gaskets is a fate I would wish upon no man. I ended up leaving out the top one, I'll see if I need to put it back in.

Great Scott!
I remember someone posted something before about using the Hercules's or the herbalizers titanium pad for concentrates in the firefly. Does that work well? Which was it. Maybe I'll try it?

The top gasket is the one that has wriggled out on some units. Re-seating it is not fun.

Very ingenious work! Nice job...

Looks cool, but also very strange and awkward.. Makes me glad that I have a desktop vape  I wouldn't cope under the pressure of disassembling such a fine looking unit!

I finally gave up on re-seating the top gasket. I could never get it to stay for long so I finally just removed it. Firefly seems to work fine without it.

There are simpler solutions if you need to mate a FF to a water pipe... :)

You can add a small silicone ring over the Lotus WA and it is a perfect fit without the lid (you basically use the FF as a log with on demand power!)...

or you make a simple and economic SonG with a piece of tubing... Again, no lid necessary. ;)

1/2" tubing is needed...

Keep in mmind that any warranty claims must be shipped to Firefly from within the US. They will refuse any packages that are shipped to them from outside the US. They also won't ship any warrantied goods outside of the US. Something for potential customers outside of the US to consider.
