received a reply today with a ship to address. they are going to attempt to fix it. if it cannot be fixed they will replace it.

BE CAREFUL WHEN CHANGING BATTERIES!

i am satisfied with this resolution. thanks pharmacor!!!

This is worrying, as someone who lives in the UK it's quite difficult getting things to and from Canada! Replaceable batteries are a pretty big deal to me with charging it directly as slow as it is!

Can I just say that this vaporizer is fantastic! I picked it up this evening and have had my first session with it. Amazed at the size of it and the heat up time. Does the job really well. I just hope that pharmacor fix the battery replacement and charging issues so that if mine ever does need to go back, it's a one time thing! Still very impressed.

well to be fair i probably should not have typed that in all CAPS. and i should have said "be careful if its the first time you change it." the ribbon is a tad fragile, but now knowing exactly whats going on in there i am confident i can change it in the future with zero problems.

Listen this really isn't difficult at all......yes care should be taken......maybe take a run at it to see what it is all about before actually using it in the field....... it really is a piece of cake with the INH05.... in fact after I have done it so many times now with the INH05.... I began to also do it more with my XP's as well..... The trick with them is that you are best to focus your thumb pressure directly at the USB when popping off the cap and the other important thing to be SURE to do.... is to lift the switch out away from the USB port on and angle befoe trying to lift it out.... therefore when putting it back in you also need to tuck the USB gently in fist then allow the opposite side to fall back into place...... FORCE NOTHING in or out with the XP..... if you DON'T like delicate things ... Don't try with the XP's

The INH05 is a breeze though really it is....but yea don't let that switch body catch on anything while it is out {dangling} and exposed during battery replacement......

I was very please to see that even though Inhalater clearly stated they would NOT cover the ribbon cable under warranty due to the fact that care would be necessary when replacing batteries..... or was it that they wouldn't cover it for the extra year that they extend the warranty of the INH05.... I'd have to go back through the thread but I do believe something was stated along those lines and yet they still decided to honor 2clicker's warranty request........ very Nice...! Good form.....

Hi are you a earlier IG funder?

I was and I don't get it....I estimate I was one of the 20 first people to contribute and I still get nothing except a tracking number send the 08.15.2014 and planned to be at home the 08.26.2014.....

I know waiting is a part of the game but I expected to get it today....now i expect to get it tomorrow or maybe I must to stop expectations (I'm waiting for my Core too and it was sent the 08.11.2014!)

Sorry for the uninteresting post...

wow i was not aware that they said earlier that this wasnt going to covered. and the fact that they are still going to cover me is really awesome of them.

at the same time i was watching the video as i was doing it. step by step. in the video the switch/ribbon assembly comes out with ease. mine was stuck in there pretty good. when it did come free (after about 2-3 mins of trying) the ribbon tore at the pcb. its a small tear and at first i did not even think it would alter performance. until i turned her back on. i was crushed.

i would also like to add that i do not have hands made of cement and am good at working with small parts.

anyway, i really love the performance of this vape. it really is a great one. i CANNOT wait to get this gem back into my hands.

I just received my INH05!! I ordered August 7th and have it in hand August 28th. No 5 free capsules as promised but o well. I got a spare battery also. @2clicker I also tried to remove the battery (very carefully) and lets just say I won't be swapping batteries anytime soon. It should almost state remove and replace at your own risk! This is super delicate to do and I was very lucky to get the back end off without ripping the band. Putting it back in was even harder!! Maybe it just takes practice but fuck that! I'll charge her in her whole form until performance suffers!:2c: I don't think that'll be anytime soon because I still am using my OG Cera batteries from 2 years ago and they work fine still;) I have it on the charger right now until the light goes off, no need to rush it cause what's another couple of hours after waiting 3 weeks.:D All in all I'm very impressed with the size and stealth of this vape.:brow: I've never used an Inhalator product before but from what everyone has said so far in here I am very excited!!! I got some sweet smellin' Soma Sour D from THE FARM in boulder just for this occasion!:freak: Who knows the INH05 might push me to make my first usage video! :uhoh::lmao:

I should clarify because now you have got me curious as well.....my INH05 was the Beta version and I was told the tolerances were going to be tightened up as mine was very loose....in fact all of it has popped out on me... on more than one occasion....but I'm now hearing there are 2 of the production consumers that are reporting the switch assembly is more than a bit snug now.......

Sorry didn't mean to suggest that you were not good with your hands...... I'm now thinking that the tolerances are so tight that the slots inside the body that the switch circuit board slides into must be extra tight.... we all might want to take some of the edge off with an extra fine sandpaper....
Thx for the feedback.....cheers.....:peace:

Happy for you and I'm even more aggravated with @Inhalater.

I ordered a week before you, live less than six or so hours from Montreal and your way out in Colorado, and yet you got yours already and I'm still being told " rest assured it's shipped" over and over. I got a PayPal shipping notice from them yesterday????? with this crap:

Shipper None

Tracking number No Shipment Tracking

Shipping status Shipped

I'm guessing PayPal sent them a notice because no shipping info was ever given to them either and it's been almost a month.

Damn...i empathize with your agonies.... i've definitely lost my stoke for this a bit, just because of the fragility of the battery swap and charging issue/light. I'm gonna wait till they hit the online retailers, iron out the wrinkles, and release a version update which i'm sure isn't far....i just hope that history isn't repeating itself again.

Thanks to all you early adopters for your feedback and reviews!

Keep your eyes out in the future in the Classified forum for a new in box INHO5.....I've had it up to my eyeballs with this nonsense.

I got the same paypal email on Tuesday, two biz days after I received my INH.

I'm inferring from your posts that you haven't tried calling them. (Apologies if I read this wrong.) If you haven't, I would try this. Or to be more emphatic, this is what I would do if I were you, and in fact what I did do myself like ten days ago. Call them. If you get the guy on the phone, ask him your status and insist he give you a tracking number that is valid. If he says the "sales guy" has to get it, ask him to text it to your number. If you don't get the number the next AM, send him a text again. Part of the key here is to get a human on the phone, and make suure he knows you feel you are getting the runaround.

Two things seem to be true simultaneously here: they are honest guys with a great product, and they are very pooor at service and communication. My experience with them is they responded to me when i refused to let them be non-responsive.

So, again, call them if you haven't. And then text them once you've called them.

Question about the charging time issue -- is this a new issue with the 05? Because with my (several) XPs, charge time seemed normal and good.

Are people taking into account variations in charger output? Older cellphone chargers were around 500 mA. Newer are from 1000 to 2100 for the higher end tablets.

In any case, does anyone know how fast the 05 *can* charge? I've got lots of 500 mA chargers kicking around, fewer of the faster ones. I know that slower charges will be better for the long-term life of the battery, but I'm wondering what's the highest the 05 will draws current (I assume it's electronically limited).

I finally received my tracking number today. I share others frustration at the processing time, given that since I paid for my original XP in December of 2012, I have only had a functioning unit for approx 8 months out of the 20. My last XP died in March, and I've been combusting since then, as this is my only vape, and I hate combusting.

Anyhow, I am am simply relieved to have finally got the tracking number. I'm in Canada so I expect it will be here soon.

What I'm wondering now is which of the perks, if any, can I expect with this package? I purchased the glass stem as well as the water pipe. Are they being shipped as well?

My last email with Fredrick @Inhalater he actually gave me a number to call and specifically told me to ask for him if I had any questions. I haven't honestly called because what is there to talk about?? Everything needed to be said has been said already ad nauseam .....but I admit it hasn't got me anywhere at this point. Well, except for empty promises over and over again.

I've sent email after email, PM after PM and even texts....all answered btw, but the same ol same ol "it's shipped' for the last going on a month now. Never a tracking number despite those promises either.

HAHA I amend my prior statement about battery changing! It's a snap! I just came home and the extra battery I had on the cera battery charger was green so I gave it the switcheroo and it was easy this time!:rockon:Anyway I got to try the INH05 out and  This thing is a VaporCano! It plums the stuff till the bitter end!!! It's super lightweight too, very comfortable to hold. Very satisfied with my purchase and looking forward to the glass capsules:drool:

Solod out.
It really is easy to change the battery. I've opened and closed it multiple times. It was scary the first time.
Just make sure everything lines up when you're closing, and when you pop the thing make sure you raise it from opposite the USB.

That being said, with the charger being the way it is, battery swapping could be a bit more practical. IMO a quick fix could be if they ditch the USB port.

AHHHHHH SHIIIIIIIIIT! :disgust: I swapped the battery and I took it out with me put it in the glove box and when I pulled it out 10 min later it was on!!! I then turned the knob to ON and who knows what happened. Long story short I have it on the charger to see if it still works at all, if not I think I'll be returning my unit for a refund and moving on. It's just not the build quality I'm looking for in a portable. If it does work then cool I'll make use of it no problems:D but if it needs repair or replace I'm choosing refund. :2c:

Yes I too had my 05 Beta unit turn itself on a few times.... I was told it was because my tolerances again were a bit loose and what was happening was a slight bump or vibration that can cause the switch to break contact from the switch and the MCU reads that as a cycle off and back on again......this should only happen if you are like me and often leave it on after it has timed itself off......

The other potential concern would be the alignment when snapping the switch cap back on..... it is VERY IMPORTANT to get the 2 flat sides perfectly aligned to accept the cap...... sounds tough but really not too bad if you....make sure the switch is in the "off" position and that the switch circuit board is snug in the slots on the inside walls of the body..... then simply line up the off on the dial to the charge light and if the switch is slotted correctly and turned off then it should slide or should I say snap into place....

DO not force it...if it feels as though it doesn't quite want to go all the way down in then give it a gentle wiggle twist to see if the alignment is off ever so slightly..... it is a tiny little shaft but once you get the hang of it.... it seems pretty easy....but again my Beta was a tad loose....just DON"T Force anything....

Little gentle twist wiggles will likely help....parts are tiny and tolerances are tight......
It is after all an awesome compact portable that delivers table top performance IMO.....
and the craftsmanship is top shelf... it feels so sturdy in our hands but in reality we still have tiny little circuit boards sitting both above and below a rather stout... more then enough weight battery to easily crush either board if drop just so......

I think your unit is just fine.... another interesting note I should bring up....my Beta is using the same 2800mah batteries as all of my XP's do....... shouldn't make a difference in theory.. so just a note... Oh and No I'm not having any unusual charge times...even seems a bit quicker than 6 hr charge times actually....almost 9 runs before I have to replace the battery.....

With the XP and previous versions, swapping out the battery was not an option -- not practically anyhow. It didn't seem to matter much. Definitely didn't matter to me. I carried a $20, 10000 mAh USB battery pack to charge it while on long trips if necessary, but never ended up needing it, cuz the battery does have a good long life.

Now that they've advertised it as possible, I guess people are expecting to do it, but apparently it can be tricky (mixed responses on this so far), so perhaps they should have never mentioned it and no one would have considered it a loss, since it's a new feature anyhow.

IMO, if the charge time is much slower on the 05 than on the XP, then that is a problem that should be resolved in itself, rather than us compensating for the flaw by swapping batteries. But that's still an open question -- do we have any XP and 05 owners who can answer whether the 05 takes longer to charge than the XP?

I just got up and had the INH 05 on charge last night since 6 pm. (about 12.5 hours) The charging light was out. I then proceeded to load a capsule, insert, turn ON and presto! The light came on! It blinked and blinked, I was so excited:haw: then ... it jigged out again with an intermittent blink then ... NO BLINK!:lmao::doh: I think this vape was awesome for the 3 times I got to use it. I'm sorry to say though it's in the box, packed up, and ready to ship back to wherever in Canada whatever that will cost. I am waiting for a reply with instructions from INH as how to do that. I would imagine they would do a full refund for me considering the unit is the exact way they sent it to me. I would love to give it another try but not until I can get one from a local retailer for a lower price. For $287 shipped with 1 extra battery there are better ways to vape my money:2c: This will be my last post here until a resolution is reached which then I'll update the thread. Lets keep it for product info.

EDIT: Thanks for the email Frederick. I am very pleased you will be sending me a new unit for replacement. I'm headed to the post office now. Please update your website to reflect NO REFUNDS and 2 year warranty only. That way customers know what they're getting into:2c:
