Thanks for the advice.
I wanted to save 15$ but it appears I would be wasting 60$ instead.
Yeah man if you're looking for an ecig battery I can't really recommend this one due to my experiences. I was using a Protank 2 with a 1.8 ohm coil and then a 1.2 that I coiled. eGo batteries are $15-20 and you can even get a variable voltage one.

I am who I am and your approval isn't needed!
All due respect.....

The battery itself is a simple 650 mAh lithium ion ego battery with a mini usb port on the bottom (exactly like joyetech). The other components 'make' the dabbler what it is.

a 650 mAh battery has a limited lifespan (dependent on use) , and as such the constant multi usage as an e-cig will obviously shorten that lifespan in comparison to dabs. Any 510 ego style battery will work, yet I suggest to not jeopardize the other components of the dabbler to make sure its a regulated 3.2v (typical) output one. * not saying slightly more v would kill the atty, just, that it was designed around a 'spec' for a reason ;)

Just received my 3 in 1 and tube. Took longer to clear customs here in NL than it did to get to the NL. I had to try them both of course. Results are outstanding. Both perform well with a standard eGo battery. Mijn are VV so I turn the voltage right down to 3.3 volts. I used the pulsing method so nothing got to hot. This way I got smooth, tasty and cool vapour from both devices. I love the tube. You can pulse and fill the tube with thick vapour. I wish I could do a few more experiments but it's still morning and I still have stuff to do! Having said that I do get a very "clear" high, seems even better than my Ti nail but maybe the mj is talking now.

Now this happy camper has to turn more of his grass into oil.

It has taken a while but I think I now have the ideal setup. I grow my own and consume it either as grass with the Solo/MiniVap or as oil now with the Dabbler. I don't see myself grabbing the blowtorch anytime soon..

I actually "pulse" for the opposite reason. I don't want to have a long period with the coils glowing red but you are right pulsing could easily result in more heat because it is the easiest way to circumvent to 10 sec automatic shutoff

I get it, he means to push the button on and off so the coil never gets up to full red hot. I do it without noticing anymore.

Lol I got the same one, with the atomizer on, is more of a portable (magic?) wand than an e-cig. Still sticking to Philip Morris :(

So I got myself a Dr Dabber and Globe.

All parts of both devices are interchangeable with the Dabbler and Tube. Not quite identical but it all fits. I guess this is quite useful! All of them good devices, they do the job for me!

Time to make some more QWISO. I can attest to the fact that when you start using concentrates regularly your tolerance does go up. In the beginning one hit had me cooked, now I can take 2 or 3 hits which is nice because they taste so good but I am getting through a little more than when I just started.

So I have recently had a very strange problem with my Dabbler. I use it almost daily, and out of the blue, I hit the button to take a hit and then when I let go of the button, the light stayed on, and it is now about 8 hours after that time, and the light is still on. Pressing the button does nothing now - Ive tried holding it and pressing multiple times, the light persists. Has anyone had a similar problem and know of a fix? I am going to contact Vapor Warehouse about this, and I will see what happens when the battery inevitably drains from the light.. unfortunately I don't think the light being on uses too much power so it will take a very long time. I will post back my results. This is the second time I've had issues with my Dabbler battery from normal use. The first time the mini usb port became unattached and was pushed into the battery itself so i couldn't charge it..

Here is a boring video of what I'm talking about

Update: Since my pen was 2 months out of warranty VW said they could send me a battery for the Eleven instead, which is allegedly works with the dabbler components. Great customer service. I will update again when I see how well it works with it.

Yeah I don't mean to knock the dabbler or anything but I have an ecig battery that gets the coil nice and red hot before it shuts itself off, I can get much nicer, cleaner hits without using the dabbler battery.

I don't know if this means my dabbler battery is on its way out, but I do know that I have used this other e cig battery a lot more than the dabbler and it seems the dabbler battery is dying out before this one.

I do like the titanium coils and ceramic cores, but this $20 battery from a liquor store outperforms a $60 battery from vaporbros. I dunno man.

In a way you're totally right- We are noticing that headshops are moving toward carrying mainly skillets and glass tube heaters because their customers already have batteries from ecig stores. Officially, Dabbler's creator "Vape-Pen" doesn't want ecig batteries being used with his skillets and he goes so far as to say the warranty is void if they are used with non-Dabbler batteries... Not that we know how he determines that, but just to notify people..

For $60, you're getting a battery with all sorts of stuff- including
1) the best lithium Vape-Pen could find
2) an actual 1 yr warranty (Not a warranty you have to register or "buy" to utilize)
3) better circuit protection to avoid risk of battery fires
4) Vape-Pen's customized microcircuit that controls its temperature (It may seem weak to people but it tastes better IMhO)
5) 100% tested. If bought from Vaporwarehouse, 100% charged as well.
6) 90 days advance replacement, meaning you get a new battery and prepaid mailer to send your old one back
7) I forgot the rest but there's more..

For $20 you get a battery that's off the shelf from China, untested, might die, whatever, you buy a new one if it breaks so get a few (=$60). If you like your coil nice and red hot, there you go. Since a Dabbler heater coil warranty expires once you put your oils in it the issue with the warranty being voided is moot.

One more thing just to remind. Dabbler's coils are Inconel, an extremely inert high temp nickel alloy Vape-Pen buys in Sweden. Titanium is nice, generally accepted as safe (by nobody who actually knows, but whatever) but Dabbler is all about being the top quality, so Inconel is the choice there. :)

I know vaporbros knows quality, which is why I specifically went for the Dabbler. Your original vapor bros box vaporizer is one of my favorite smoking devices of all time, I used to hook up the whip to a glass pipe way back in 2003 before it was cool to vape.

To be fair, batteries die all the time, and your warranty/customer service has always been top notch from wat I can remember.

Also, the heater I bought off of vaporwarehouse is listed as having a titanium coil with a ceramic core, and it is sold under the "dabbler parts" section of the site.

• Custom blown in the U.S.A.
• Strong Borosilicate Glass
• Titanium Coil
• Ceramic Core

• 510 Thread

http://www.vaporwarehouse.com/site/vaporbrothers-mini-viper.html

Thats what I bought, I had one of the glass wick heaters and lets just say I will never go back. I can get man sized hits off of this little coil and I don't have to mess around with a torch or glowing red hot phallic objects, which is a definite plus.

So I found the inconel coil that you are talking about on vaporwarehouse too its here:

http://www.vaporwarehouse.com/site/vaporbrothers-ceramic-core-heater.html

Both of these use a ceramic core, and I was wondering is this ceramic porous and absorbs oil?

Can you tell me why I want inconel over titanium for my coil?

you may say because of "off gassing"

but I thought it was widely accepted that titanium is safe for dabbing?

I have burned out a dozen coils using various Ego batteries, and those that I did not burn out now taste terrible.
I am on my original coil (and dome setup) on my Dabbler Battery however.
The coil and the dome setup that has been used for a solid year with the Dabbler battery still tastes clean and fresh.
The soft silica "glass rods" are still un melted and cleanable on my original coils, that were used with The Dabbler Battery, while the silica has melted or is non exostant now on the coils used with other 510 ecig batteries.

Getting a hotter hit faster does not equate to "outperfoming" in my eyes.
It is like using jet fuel in your car, and saying that it outperforms the manufacturers suggested fuel.
You may go faster in that car now, but only for a few miles!

I made an account here just for this thread.....

The Dabbler is an awesome vape pen. I've had mine for almost a month now. Unfortunately it suffered from "pocket break" and the pen went up in flames(figuratively).... I emailed the warehouse and got a response within minutes. They really do have great customer support (emailed them once before and had an answer less than 1 hour of posting.) They shipped me a replacement battery which I hope is the cause of my pen not working anymore. If it's not the battery, I'll just buy a new coil and now I have a back up battery jic.

First time I ever tried bho was with the pen and it's incredible. Lasts a long time and you can keep hitting the pen even if it looks like there's no more oil in the chamber, like magic!
All in all, the pen is dope, and I love walking in the City smoking without anyone knowing/caring it's not whacky tobacky. Top notch product, top notch company...... You gotta be an idiot not to buy one, no offense, if you didn't buy one, you're just an idiot.:dog:

Battery came yesterday, twisted it with the coil part and I was back in biz. Taking awesome dabs with this awesome improved battery. A more visible red light while charging, and immediate coil heat within seconds instead of my old battery where I had to hold it for 2 seconds before I can take a hit.

5* customer service

Hi guys I was wondering if anyone has any info on the new vapor brothers Eleven pen? It is half the price of the dabbler and looks pretty similar except it looks as if the ceramic core might be slightly different. Thanks

Yes VaporWarehouse do you have any info for us? My friend is in the market for a vape pen. He wont put down $100 for the dabbler. But he might try to swing $50.

From what i can tell its the older ceramic core with titanium wire and uses the older slim mouthpiece? Matched to a regular battery with no microprocessor? To me thats fine. Its actually a very wise product in my opinion. Will reduce the amount of people who buy the heater and 510 battery separately.

I know vaporbrothers doesn't condone this, but like I said before, you can use the ceramic core/titanium coil nails with any 510 thread battery, so you dont HAVE to buy the dabbler battery, all you need is the heating element.

Sorry for the delayed reply. Gmail keeps putting FC notifications in my spam folder, no matter how many times I mark them not spam.

I can answer a few of these questions.

Ceramic core is not the old version, it's different from any version the Dabbler employed. It's rougher and not so pretty but it does a better job of wicking than the smoother, prettier Dabbler version. Eleven features a titanium coil while the Dabbler uses a Swedish inconel. The most recent batch of pens we got shipped with metal mouthpieces, not the plastic duckbill ones. I haven't had a chance to update the photos on the site to reflect this.

I'm going to pass the buck onto Vaporbrothers for more specifics about the VB Eleven Pen particularly the microprocessor.

Me too... but what you can do is create a "filter", that will assign mail from FC to a specific label, and from there you will see it in your inbox.
When you create a filter your system will guide you through the questions.
My Filter set up:
Matches: from noreply@fuckcombustion.com)
Do this: Apply label "Forums", Never send it to Spam

Then each email will say at the top:

This message was not sent to Spam because of a filter you created
