SOLO Vaporized Cannabis is my Best Medicine
If you collect your trichomes in a grinder, like Zeus, you can make some nice hash by starting with that oil from your stem - I once collected 1.5 g. of kif in my Zeus alone and it's wunnerful hash!
I have a Solo and an EQ. I always combine the oil from the Solo stem and EQ whip with keif. Makes the best hash! The taste reminds me of the Lebanese blond hash I used to get back in the "good old days"

Since 1971 however quit for 3 decades.
I got my medical license & find CANNABIS is mild medication compared to what the alternative is!

The SOLO is a easy to use portable for the medical patient!

Recreational it has benefits like being healthier!

I saw that listing a while ago...Description says GONG,I didn't know eds stems are glass.LMAO

Actually that's "Gopherwood on Glass". They're made of genuine pieces of Noah's arc.........

Do we really know for sure they're genuine Ed's stems? I don't see any logos. Nor does it name the wood used, usually an important feature with the real deal.

To get the real deal go through Ed. I'm not sure who makes those. Ed usually has his logo on them. Eds TnT. I do know he was making some for other places, including Amazon and Puffitup. His pieces are Wongs, stems, mouthpieces and other wooden crafted assesories. He makes wooden log vaporizers too.

I have 4 of Eds pieces. I have a nice 3 inch Wong with a turquoise inlay for my Solo. I use it as a mouthpiece.

Smokin, Welcome to FC. Most of us are Solo fans, we want everyone to know the joys of owning one. You are from a very famous area. Some very good herb originated from your neck of the woods.

You have very bad luck with Solos. I don't think I have heard anyone going through 5. I'm glad you had good customer service. You are a real trooper to stick with it.:leaf::peace:

yo, I 'finally' broke the second glass stem and I'm alone with my defective wood stem (producin no to little vapor at 1-5, need to crak it up at seven right to the start and it's uvapeable, and that taste :puke:,no need to say I turned back to smoking) what glass stem should i buy? i prefer big clouds (and efficency, if it's possible having both at the same time)
also i was wondering if it's possible to find an usb charger it would be really handy!
(didnt' read the tread in a while, surely my answer are here somewhere, too lazy, sick, and high to schearch :worms:

Defective? Did you let it heat soak? The stainless steel bowl takes longer to heat up then the glass.

It sounds like , you've haven't used your wong in a while .
It may need cleaning , use some iso/q-tip to clean the inside .
That could help with the taste factor .

I like the ' shorty ' bowls for conserving herbs , or just add a domed screen in your
regular stem to reduce your load size .

Also , you can try ' Vapor-stepping ' . Start at a low temp like 3 and go up 1 level
after each 12 minute session . That will extend your stem loads and enjoyment .

Happy Soloing

Hi peeps, I've bought a solo and I'm very happy with the performance of this thing. I've some slight concerns about the possibility of warm air intermingling with the electronics. From reading this thread I've worked out that most of the air flow comes in through the top, however it's possible that some comes from the lower section housing the electronics.
In order to alleiviate these worries, I thought maybe something like cotton wool could be used to close off air flow from the bottom section and ensure that all the air enters through the top holes?
I was wondering what people think about the feasibility of this idea.

I think it's a very bad idea. Those vents were put there for a solid reason, blocking them or the airflow is asking for troubles.

More so because of questionable risks. Those very same 'nasty electronic vapors' are right now escaping in much larger quantities from your monitor or laptop, right? And your cell phone? How big a risk do you think they pose to your health?

I would maintain in normal use Solo has a lower risk overall? It's smaller and lower in power than your monitor or laptop and you're exposed to it for less minutes a day? I get it that raving about this hidden secret threat is an easy and common target, but does anyone have any evidence of real health issues from 'breathing the same air as a Mac'?

It's your call, but IMO blocking cooling airflow is a very bad idea. The engineers went to considerable effort to design it in.

Are you personally suffering any adverse consequences, or do you know of any human being who has verified suffering any adverse consequences from using the Solo?

I can not use my wood stem in my solo effectively. I understand what your saying @Unnotrafitto . I mentioned it before but I didn't go down that trail very hard as I was in the minority so it must be me.
Contact Ed regarding issues with your stem. You're not going to get any results airing it here.

Stoned!
I don't believe it's the stem. I think my Solo is not powerful enough to heat the stem. Like I said I mentioned it before and I get snarky remarks like that.

Newcastle, If I thought there was something wrong with my Solo I would contact the vendor. I can't imagine them not replacing your unit unless they aren't an authorized outlet. Why settle if you're not happy? I'm not trying to be snarky, just trying to understand?

Peace unto you brother! ...and to your mind!
There is no danger in cannabis and the SOLO is in use world-wide - if it could possibly do harm you would see the fear-mongering trolls of the fascist/zionist media corps. blasting the news from Amsterdam to Seoul - lose your paranoia bro' - get happy!
