Favorite vaporizer LED colors?

I've been wondering lately what everyone else likes on their vapes when it comes to LED's.. They're pretty pleasing to look at during a vape sesh and always keep me interested.. So, what do you guys like or would like? And if you have something you wanna see, give some examples.

Why would an herb vape have something besides green?

Or, with a little functionality. I think the PAX has the best indicators, lighting of any vaporizer on the market.

The secret modes are so much fun!

I don't like red. Red LEDs have been around a long time. I've had Enough of red LEDs, blue is good or green. Maybe even a RGB LED for random color. Or color corresponding to temperature.

The color coding for temperatures on the Indica is rather well chosen. My two cents...

I fly with whatever is comes with. Sesh lighting is done by disco ball LED.

As an aside, I had a phone that had a superbright annoying blue LED. Putting a little piece of red colored cellophane tape over the light turned it into a nice muted purple.

Edit: I like the style of vape light that gets brighter as the vape gets hotter, like the DBV does.

Also the Pax with its flashing lights and games is fun enough I sometimes play with it dry after hitting a log vape.

So you think green is typically the best? Don't you think green could look a bit weird though with some other colors? I guess not honestly.. Green is pretty universal. I do have to agree that the pax is spot on with its lighting. When I had mine it was pretty pleasing to look at.

I agree dude, red is pretty outsourced by now haha.

Anyone else? I'm curious haha.

Massive fan of blue. It matches my car's custom interior, my pc gaming desk / keyboard & accessories, and my vape setup :)
Nice bright electric blue baby! All the way! It's soothing and invigorating and relaxing all at the same time

I guess mostly I'm a fan of playing Simon with the multi colored LEDs of the PAX. I like multi colored LEDS because they let you use the multiple colors to indicate temperature. Everyone knows simple things like green is go and red is stop, or if you're fancy you can have a cool, warm, and hot setting with different colors. Red to me is warning, or something's wrong, or hot. It shouldn't be used where a green, blue, white LED would also convey the appropriate message, because of the subliminal negative connotation.

I agree, red to me is DANGER. If I walk into a room and there's a fucking red light on I am looking for an exit, or an nailgun to have a psychotic break and start shooting people! I'm joking.. but a friend did have a bedroom that had beautiful red walls, but after 2 or 3 nights of sleeping in it he said that he would wake up with extreme anxiety and want to yell for some reason.. Painted blue walls that week and was relaxed in there ever since!

i use 3 LEDs:
  • blue for power attached (goes out when batteries are drained),
  • green when the vape temperature is at or above the set point temperature,
  • red shows when the heater is energized - in operation this throbs to show heating/cooling (idling, really).

I want as few lights showing as possible, couldn't stand the light on the bottom of the HerbalAire and mine didn't even have the crazy color changing lights the new HA has.

Yup, but to me, there's a big difference when LED's serve as function indicators, versus flashing LED's whose only function is to glitterize a vaporizer..........imho, of course. :2c:

So when you say as few lights as possible, do you mean on the device it self, or how many are I guess built into the LED itself?

One LED to Rule them all... One LED, different colors=different meanings. An RGB LED can do many different colors. Or maybe a purple "black light" LED would be cool.:freak:

Prefer white or orange/yellow on equipment, fades into the background, yet when you need to know it status it's their.

Blue looks a bit tacky and overdone.

I vape a lot where its pretty dark and don't like many lights on the device it self and the dimmer the better for me.

I don't know i have a thing about glare, makes me anxious and find too many LEDs distracting and less then calming in the very low light I enjoy when sitting back most nights vaping and listening to music, a single candle is brighter then i really even like so the fewer LEDs and the smallest dimmest displays are more my style and taste.

Oh yeah green and blue as the predominant LED colors are my choice.
