The Herbalizer

I still desire an herbalizer though. What accessories would people buy with it if they bought direct from herbalizer? I am thinking I would want a couple extra screen/brush packs and an extra magnetic bowl and wait on balloons. I see myself using a whip more. Is getting a 3 pack of whips good or would people go for the ssv tubing that I read about earlier in the thread? I want to be economical by buying everything I need for the next year or so and just storing it.

I use the whip about 90% of the time. Sure it's fun to blow up a bag occasionally, but I personally, prefer the whip.

As to your question about what accessories to buy, I would definitely buy extra screens and brushes. I also purchased an extra bowl, I've found it keeps things going at faster pace for the times I use Herbie in a group setting. That said, if you only plan to use Herbie solo, I wouldn't invest in an extra bowl. I have no problem with the stock whip and I did purchase a 3 pack, but many others on this thread prefer the thicker SSV tubing. So maybe you should see how you like the stock whips first before buying the additional 3 pack of whips..

You will not be disappointed. The Herbalizer is hands down the best vape I've ever had!!

This is exactly the type of newbie information I was looking for. Thanks for that. I am definitely getting some extra screens. I might just go for two orders of those since it is only $5. I think an extra magnetic bowl makes a lot of sense for me but wow those cost a lot. I am paying for my convenience :) I am still debating the extra 3 pack of whips.

For those that have an SSV whip do you have just the standard whip or the whip kit? An SSV whip goes for around $23 on vapornation and the whip kit is $33 or more. Do I just get the SSV whip? Has anyone tried the basic colored whip tubing from Vapornation? That stuff seems pretty cheap as a replacement but the Herbalizer whip looks very professional.

It's probably more of a "return/exchange if damaged/doa" for a limited time like with amazon/30 days.
I'm thinking that massdrop themselves may be covering it but probably for more like a 30-90 days exchange, not two years repair/replace. edit: They have what seems to be an unstated deal with vn(?)
Could vn have distributor status? It would be nice of md to make this clear as this is 100% speculation.

Vapornation is a distributor along with Vapor Outlet, KDK Distributors (Canada), and 1percent.com

From Herbalizer website, "WE guarantee that you’ll find the lowest price available right here at Herbalizer.com. If you find a better price from an Authorized Online Retailer, simply call us to verify and we will beat it by 10%."

I don't know I think it is kind of strange. Hasn't herbalizer already received money for these herbalizers from the distributor? I mean it is not like they are counterfeit or something. More sale is more word of mouth for them.

It is about an agreement signed, involving fair trade, and nobody underselling other sellers.
Somebody tried to order large quantities, and make a fast buck to sneak past the agreement.
I know of a distributor that made a holiday code for a sale on Volcano....
and was dropped same day, and has not been permitted access to Storz and Bickel products for years since.
Same with MFLB... they did a sweep, and found all retailers that had made "special prices (undercutting) and made them permanently "persona non-grata"
Just as was done with this massdrop deal just now.... an obvious attempt to unload a large number of Herbies... profit, and re-order more to go for the "gold"...
WRONG!:disgust:

Yea that is very strange.. It's as if herbalizer is angry about the drop and doesn't want vn to be the distributor for sales. Nor tdoes herbalist want consumers to receive units for a discount. Price fixing isn't cool. Can we be mad at Walmart for having the lowest prices for certain or most things?

Regardless, that is an issue between vapor nation and herbalizer, the consumer shouldn't be punished for buying an authentic product that was on sale? If what most people are saying is true, then the world shouldn't have sales on any items and everything should be sold on shelves for the same price? Then manufacturers and retailers would just dominate the consumers because what choice do we have but to pay those prices? Common guys give me a f break here.

Did you read my post about price tanking and how it can end a company?

I believe it is Herbalizers fault than for selling it for that low. They can just raise there prices to vendors n retailers if that's the case. You can't make a product, a price and then complain that your not making enough if the volume of sales is there. I don't see any other vape company having issues with massdrop except this one.

You are entitled to your belief. And Herbalizer is entitled to their stance.

Most of all, all of us here on FC are entitled to read a thread without the same gripe over and over.

You've stated your belief, so please do not post about it further.

Thank you.

Please stop.
You spoke your piece, and we understand.
:horse:
The majority disagree with you, and all have been politely and very respectfully silent to give you room to speak your mind anyway.
Now respect others as they respected you, and stop.
Yes, they are under pricing them and that is in direct violation of their agreement. Just to give you guys some perspective, this is a huge problem in this market. .......
..... I think our boycotting distributors that contribute to this problem is one of the best market responses we could hope for.
Sticks explained in layman's terms!
VaporNation deserves to be chastised.
They did wrong.
?? lol @Stu dont be angry.
Nobody is angry... just frustrated that you did not get the message 1st time around.
Just because you do not fully grasp or respect the seriousness of violating T&C, does not mean we all that do understand should be subjected to rebuttal about facts that are past.
Topic is done.... Dead and stinking!

Yes, it was "rules again." @Stu asked you to stop because we have a rule against bashing companies by repetition of a criticism or complaint. We also have another rule:
  • Public discussions of staff decisions are not permitted on the site. If you have any concerns or queries relating to a staff decision please take it up in private with a staff member.
Please take some time to review the rules carefully while you're suspended.

For some happier news I just joined the herbalizer family and can't wait. Between this and an EVO I feel like I have the best of every world covered and I can't wait to try out some of my hydratubes with this bad boy. I just went ahead and ordered direct so I am sure of the warranty even if I would have saved a little bit of money with massdrop.

I ordered my Herbalizer directly from the manufacturer too, and very glad I did.

Let us know what you think after you have had a chance to use it. :)

Roger that. I can't believe I spent this much but when you amortize something you love to do out over time it becomes quite a cheap investment towards my happiness. These forums have been really good at helping me make purchase decisions and I don't regret anything I have bought so far :)

I have a new technique for getting even bigger rips with the stock whip.

Simply remove the mouthpiece (I have white plastic version), and inhale off the whip instead of the mouthpiece. I would estimate about 40% increase in air flow.

One of these days I will get some SSV tubing, but until then this works great. I'd imagine the SSV tubing would hit even harder hitter.

Warranty is very important guys .. My first unit was defective but thankfully torontoV swapped it for me. You don't want a 700$ piece of equipment breaking.

Also .. Ssv tubing is fairly cheap at torontovaporizer .. They have mouth pieces as well.

Loving the herbie ... I noticed something though... When filling bags and using them, my room tends to smell more. My roommates have been able to smell it too ... But with the whip, not so much. I think I've narrowed it down to that

That just happened...
They only thing they are really doing wrong is claiming that you get a actual manufacturer warranty. Otherwise you could compare it to someone selling a used unit. I buy gray market watches frequently and that is the understanding there.

Are sometimes having good deals a good enough reason, in light of their current business practices, to continue the FC/Vapornation relationship?

That's only the part I have any issue with, and it's more with massdrop misstating the warranty, not so much with vapornation. There's an issue between vapornation and herbalizer, which imo can be written off as the competing realities between a manufacturer and its retailer/distributor. They'll work it out.
