Best Pen Vape For Wax

Hottaflames

Herb Monster
Can someone please recommend a pen vape for wax or a 510 thread refillable cartridge for wax that wont leak?
I've seen Omicron and Persei but I want something more pen-like in appearance for stealth at work. I tried an Ago G5 but that is only good for small amounts at a time. Anything more will leak out and disable the whole thing!
I need something I can load a gram of wax into and not have any leaks.

Thanks for your help

The Omicron cartridge can be used on their Ophos platform, that kit looks very pen-like.
Otherwise, there are no good pen-style vapes on the market that can hold a gram of straight wax.

There are plenty of good e-cigs, however, and many are pretty stealthy. You will have to dilute your wax so that it flows from the tank. I have good results with EJMix.

Thanks! How would I dilute the wax to make an e-liquid?

I bought EJmix on ebay for $20. I heat a gram of wax and .3ml of EJmix in a clean shotglass and stir until evenly mixed. I use a 20ga syringe to transfer the blend into an e-cig tank. You may need as much as .5ml ejmix depending on the quality of your wax. After sampling it, you can dilute it further if it is too strong. You can not go back, ie you can't separate the wax from the ejmix thereafter, so start easy on the ejmix. There is a thread here about the vendors BHO kit.

What about the Vaporbrothers Dabbler?

The vapor brothers dabbler is one of many micro-skillets that look much alike. They do not meet your requirements because they are "load as you go". You prime the wick with wax (shown in the VB website video) then you vape the wax off the wick (not shown in that video). You can get either one good tasty hit, or overload it and get a tasty hit plus a less-tasty second hit. But you certainly can not load up a gram and go out-and-about.

You might want to consider having a micro-skillet around as a backup, or as a tasting/sampling rig, but you'll quickly get frustrated trying to use it as a daily driver. For one thing, reloading concentrate is not discreet negating the stealth aspect. These devices use small fragile heating elements that burn some of your oil, necessitating frequent cleaning. Eventually, the coils burn out. The kits with beefier batteries can drive beefier coils, making this less of a problem. If you're handy you can rebuild them, but these micro-skillets aren't designed to be rebuilt. So there are some iffy things about that, and you're stranded until you rebuild. If you buy replacement heads instead, it makes micro-skillets a much more expensive long-term proposition.

All the e-cig based micro-skillets on the market are all the same, really. They use an Ego style battery, an atomizer with ceramic cup in it. Some do use different materials for the cup holder, mouthpiece, wick, and coil. Some have better track records than others for customer satisfaction and customer service. If you are adventurous and willing to buy your own battery and choose your own atomizer, you should check out @divinetribe's selection.

I ended up buying @THC SCIENTIFIC's micro-skillet because he had a video showing how the parts can be taken completely apart and cleaned. He is the same guy behind the Omicron/Persei.

And here are some pictures of micro-skillets, just because I'm vaked on organic Blueberry X Haze.

Thanks. I'm gonna go with the EJMix. Seems like the perfect solution to my situation. I already have e-cigs but I the VG tincture just doesn't pack enough punch!

I used to be a big omicron fan - I do have a KISS cart, but the source orb is way easier, the replacement coils on the singles that I use are about $4 a piece and no rebuilding, same gr2 titanium and tastes the same. I really think jsut grab an orb attachment a five pack and a good battery and you are good to go.

Especially if you try the dual coils, which mine came with, it hits super hard. You can then buy wicked / wickless single or double - its just a way better system. i still like the KISS, but the Orb is better by a mile.
Thanks! I checked it out. Looks cool. I have a couple questions. Why do u use singles and not doubles? And how do the wicked and wickless types compare?

If you have the skills, you can use an e-cig RDA with some stainless steel mesh and a mechanical mod for a good and customizable experience.
