I don't think the battery has changed, I will get the same amount of sessions. What has changed (for me) is I get more sessions with battery power on light blue and less on red. Works out to be the same
I was getting 5-6 total sessions on both Chrome units I had.
I am getting 9-10 sessions on my new unit.

Perhaps the battery was upgraded for the black unit or changes were made to improve efficiency. I have a chrome unit replacement with a few changes from the original. Mike mentioned awhile back it would be similar to the new black unit just not the black color.

Vito, I could get just about 9 sessions on green with my original chrome unit, and 7-8 on average (I usually do a session on blue, then green, then purple, for each average bowl, but with an even fuller pack id do an extra one on blue and/or green). They do degrade slightly over time though, and you've has yours quite a while haven't you

Yes... for a while.
It has not degraded any since day 1 however.
The number of sessions seems to have remained fairly consistent.
Also important to note that all sessions were done on green and halfway through switched to red.

Are the Indicas "new and sealed V2" on ebay legit? I would prefer to use paypal, and the Indica store doesn't seem to offer it as an option.

I'm not concerned about the blackness, just wondering if it is foolish to buy from a 3rd party vendor, regarding warrantee/support/etc

The eBay seller that's selling the Indica V2 is Allstar Wholesales. If Michael from Indica checks in here maybe he could tell us if they are an authorized seller? They were $199 and threw in some free products. If they are not authorized don't buy from them.

The Indica company seems to have really good customer service. That's very important with something like a portable vape. You never know when, "shit happens".;)

I know that Puffitup sells the Indica for $199 with free shipping. We know they are an authorized vendor.

First I'm hearing of the Ebay auction, I'll check into it. By the way, I'lll be off the grid as of tommorow untill Sept. 1st. I'll check in though later tonight with an answer to the Ebay issue.

I see there is another seller on eBay selling the Indica called Vaporgenie. Buyer beware, be careful where you buy your vaporizers. I looked online I couldn't find a vaporizer seller named Vaporgenie. Only the vaporizer named vaporgenie.

So here's the verdict as best I can summize. Indica is currently being sold to two major vape distributors in volumes that allows them the flexibility to resell the product to others at reasonable prices. Who these resellers are, can probably be named to me over the next few days. I can then clarify who is NOT officially distributing Indica if asked without disclosing private company business on behalf of the large distributors.

I don't have much to say that hasn't been said already. This vape is nothing short of fantastic. It is so pocketable, yet delivers such a strong high. I never have to stir the bowl and the end result is an evenly cooked bowl. The range of temperatures is another huge plus, if I know I have to do homework or will be out n about I vape on either the lowest or second lowest setting, depending.

Be careful though because you will still get high af on the lower settings I just find myself less tired or baked than if I were to do it on purple/red. But yeah, this vape delivers such a wide range of uses and excels at it. Well done, Indica. Well done.

I could not hold back from getting another vape, while my other one is not cooperating atm, I came across the Indica and grabbed it right away. The coolest looking one out there for sure IMO. The one I got says "Product 500" on the box. Can anyone tell me if this is the latest model?

I was surprised upon opening it to the size...this thing is small and as portable as it gets it. Had some trouble with that sticker on the wooden box (very cool) but after getting the top off, a little Mazola oil took the glue off easily with a little wipe without damaging the finish at all.

As soon as it is finishes charging I'm going strait in...can't wait to try it. How many burn off's should it need, if any at all?

Should be the latest, the newer versions are still in beta. A couple on red is useful, read through the thread for any checks, but should be fine

I did one so far on full, some smoke came out from the top hole but did stop, and the plastic around the oven cover was a little sticky when I opened it as if it's melting...will that stop and is that normal? And what do you mean by checks, as in what to look for?

There should be ZERO melting, and zero smoke as well though you say the smoke did stop? Does the door look different than your spare door? Where did you buy it btw?

Unfortunately, I heated it up again and it's smoking. The door looks the same as the spare one and it is still sticky. Oh man, the second vape I get that smokes...what's going on. Are you sure it doesn't smoke at first until it burns off? I got it from BCVapor.

Don't know what bcvapor is, but smoke definitely sounds bad and you just said it's not burning off? Read through the thread for any similar issues but it already sounds worth contacting customer support the way you describe it. Sorry dude...

Well, it smoked a bit then stopped the first time. The second time it smoked again but didn't really stop. Very strange but it smells like spices, actual spices for cooking. It's new out of the box today. I got this one thinking it's an all metal path and shouldn't smoke...and where the heck is it smoking from anyway. It doesn't seem to be the little plastic around the oven door because I took the door off and smoke was coming out still. Oh man, two vapes now and same problem. I can't believe it. I've been so excited to get a better vape (been using the MFLB) and it just aint happenin. Thanks man. Oh, and BCVapor is an online vendor.

It's not the design, it is all metal airpath. You simply received a defective unit. If you read through the thread you'll see there was QC issue recently, so there are still faulty units around. You are covered under warranty, Mike and the Indica team will take care of you as soon as they can. You can also see if BC Vapor will replace it for you themselves
