Most definitely am. $10.50 is fine by me! :) Still getting that strange error though

I tried pressing 'Complete my order' anyway, but it returns me to the same page and requires me to select a shipping method before proceeding.

Hold on...I'll take a look that's weird...checking right now.

We do. It's a flat $10 bucks (maybe $10.50) - which is a lot if you are buying just one but if you get a couple not so bad. ....You are on JyARz.com...right?

I have to give even more of my respect to you Aldo for this pretty low shipping fee and I wish more manufacturers would set theirs in the same range (the names are too many to list but yeah some make grinders indeed).
Also much props to your packaging, where some like overpackaging with lots of dies, glue and different materials, JyARz got a very simple but well designed 100% cardboard box that protects the product pretty well and is easily recyclable, I do like that.

You're the first to comment/notice. I learned in the box design process that it's actually hard to find non-recycled cardboard...so that's what we went with. I think the packing is fairly "bomb proof" because the JyAR itself is pretty tough, it goes into a cardboard box with multiple layers and all that is packed in another box with some padding. Should take a beating like only USPS can give!

:-) I have a story to tell about something like that but not for a public forum!

Anyway, can you please try again. I think I fixed it.
Solved. Thanks! Now I play the waiting game! And don't worry about the nug, I don't picture you as the international smuggling felon

Good to know! Less plastic the better!
Also, to quote Aldo's statement on the JyARz website:

"When you buy a JyAR we give 1% of the sale to ocean plastic research. When you buy a JyAR you get a superb container AND you help address plastic ocean trash at the same time!"

How wonderful. Peace out and thanks for the very pleasant buyer experience. I know I have made a sustainable and educated choice. An entire human life has committed to one form of herb storage ;) hope you are honoured.

Glad that worked because if it didn't I wouldn't have a clue how to fix it.

I feel honoured, indeed I do. Thank you man. Your order will go out tomorrow. Let me know how you like them once you've had a chance to try them out.

All the best,

What's not to like!?!? :D I love these little jars... and the bigger ones too! I received my Satchmo's and think they're great.

I'd like to eventually switch out to using all JyaRz, so I could see you going even one more size up Aldo. I know I would definitely be interested in several.

I hope to get there but right now I have to build this little company one happy customer at a time with the products available today. I can say that I've spoken to some well known growers from the Emerald Triangle in Northern California and they'd buy a ton of gallon size JyARz for curing ... I just have to figure out how to keep scaling the size up. ....some day...some day...for now onto HempFest.

Whatever your ambitions are, you have the undying support of many customers. Just without even having received my JyARz (so sick of typing JyARz) I already know they are the be-all-&-end-all of herb storage just based on the vast amount of reviews online, and the insane following on FC and Instagram that this is the real deal. To the point, high quality, good material and sustainably reliable. And not to mention in the early stages of it's infancy! Still a long way to go for a product that most already consider #1! I'd also go nuts for a larger size if/when you are in the position to roll them out :)
Keep it up Aldo and thanks again for the support earlier today.

Larger size and also some sort of spout or a small recycled aluminium spoon that'd have a slot to keep it outside the glass insert.

Also a kind of lid grinding add on to grind the herb directly into it! Fuck it, hire me as design consultant I got truckloads of fantastic ideas I'd like to see happening!

1oz size jyarz PLEASE!

Noted. Which makes me think I should do some kind of a poll to determine what size to make next. We might not be ready for all this for more than a year but maybe it's not too soon to start collecting data?

You are kind. We've had a really good start and I have many people here to thank for it - this thread has been and continues to be an important part of our building this business.

If you would be so kind and once you've had a chance to actually use your JyARz please consider writing a review on JyARz.com? It really helps toward converting shoppers into customers. I'd like to try to get a mountain of good reviews so that its clear to new shoppers that we really do offer a good value.

Here are the links if you are so inclined:

For Classic review link is here:

For Satchmo review link is here:

And I have my sights set on a whole slew of other designs and sizes, it's just that I need to get some money back in the bank to pay for it all - so I gotta sell what we have for a while!

I am kind of a purist. I believe in making one thing that does it's "thing" very well. I worry about creating something multi-purpose that does it all but only marginally well. I can't tell you how many people ask me to add a grinder...I really will think about it but I'm very apprehensive....I don't want to screw up a good thing. I will keep thinking about it though, if inspiration strikes I might even do some protos...but they'll have to be damn good to take it to the next phase.

Aldo it sounds like you're a very realistic business man.. I like it..:peace:

My realism is proportional to the volume of my bank account. Right now I'm pretty realistic. But I hope that will change so we can start creating new stuff for you all.

So if I'm talking about just one unit... is it a Jyarz or a Jyar?

I use:

JyARz as plural and,

JyAR in the singular.

It's also the company name so I think it confuses people but what's done is done. I'm not a grammarian apparently.

Oh, i also forgot to mention that in one of my original Jyarz i got, the inside glass fractured somehow.

I shot Aldo an email and within a few days I had 2 new style replacement glass. Aldo is the man and the new style glass inserts are certainly thicker than the old ones!

Jyarz is what it is...Jyarz are what they are...:)

JyARZ is a proper noun.

not sure if there are any proper nouns that actually end in "z" but here's a grammar rule for ending with a hard z sound:
"When a proper noun ends in an "s" with a hard "z" sound, we don't add any ending to form the plural: "The Chambers are coming to dinner" (not the Chamberses)" Chambers singular and plural.

If the car was Chevrolayz. I own one Chevrolayz. My brother owns two Chevrolayz.
I currently own one JyARZ. I will soon have six JyARZ. ----proper noun
I only have one canning jar. I will soon have a dozen canning jars ----noun
