Discontinued Inhalater INH05/5S/6

Inhalater is a small company with a good product. Surprises me they haven't just hired some damn teenager to deal with their emails. Like honestly, emailing tracking numbers to the correct email addresses sounds like a minimum wage job or something left to an intern.

It's upsetting when a company with a good product is held back by something like customer service, which can be so easily fixed...

Anyway, to lighten the mood:
Anyone with an 05 able to give me a side by side comparison to the XP?

I ordered from indiegogo and haven't heard from them since like a month. Anyone else in the same boat? I should have priority over people who ordered from the website. Right?
Inhalater INH05

I was under the impression from this post that those numbers would have covered the indiegogo and web site pre/early orders.

Sounds like a cover. Look through the last few pages. Emails have been received, just not containing tracking numbers. They've been dragging some people around in circles in emails and not responding at all to others.

I know it's tough for a small company to keep up with constant complaints and questions while also manufacturing a product. But like I said, this is easily an out sourced task that would be well worth the minimum wage pay it requires.

Their communication is not good but the unit definitely will be. My buddy has the model before the xp and it is by far the best portable vape that I've ever used. Well worth the money.

I ordered mine on July 16, received my color selection email Monday and was told mine was shipping that day. I have yet to receive a response w my tracking number. Getting frustrated but trying to stay patient.
I personally would love to hear both you and your friends comparison thoughts once you do receive your INH05.... please do chime in once you do get your unit....thx

Look, maybe Im just a realist but this is for all those that are complaining about wait times. Inhalater has clearly stated that these 05's are rolling out in batches. I believe he said about 50 go out at a time. This company isent new but it is a NEW PRODUCT. They are going to have problems, they are going to have hiccups, they are going to have delays. This is what happens with a NEW PRODUCT. Im sure the guys over at inhalater are drowning in emails and calls every day about when their vaporizer will arrive.

Have some patience, vape some and chill out. Im sure they are busting there ass day in and day out to get yall your vapes but with a small company like this its going to take TIME. If you dont like unexpected hiccups or delays DONT buy on the first day. A few companies here have tried this and failed so for your happiness's sake DONT expect things to go smoothly on a launch like this, youll be a lot better off that way.

In the mean time, give these guys some space to breathe and stop hitting them up every day with emails and calls. They are a professional company with really awesome guys behind it that will make sure EVERYONE here gets their inhalater that they paid for.
Interesting comment about this being a new product...IMHO this product is far from "NEW" but rather just the opposite.... it is their near complete best of class release of this design....
IMO they bring all of this ciaos on themselves...they very much have earned getting slammed by all of you..... I too like the company and the folks are genuine and very hard working.... we have all witnessed folks that appear busy as hell every day of the week but come Friday they have very little to show for it..... the phrase "work smarter not harder"
The concept of what "Beta testing" is used for is NOT quite taken hold with this several year old company......too many changes were made from the beta version to the production units without an additional round of beta tests.... with the biggest IMO being the battery.... my beta came with the 2800mah...which operated as expected with a 6 hour charge time...... every time changes are made new issues can arise.......
New issues being discovered after expectations or commitments have already been handed down.... well this is when we can expect to see delays...back paddling... buying time to make it all happen.......

I suspect persistent emails will likely get you a unit sooner....it might also mean that you will be getting a unit that has not been completely retested.... now there might have been a 2nd round of "Beta testing" done I wasn't apart of ....but the timeline suggests unlikely.....

IMO their consumers would be best to be as patient as possible..... not necessarily quite per say....send an email or 2 {non demanding} expressing concern and yet express your willingness to wait for their most tested and complete product....

If it is all about these newer batteries not being on par with the current charging ICU.... I wonder how many consumers would opt to just have the older style battery.... if you really wanted to extend run times then you would opt to wait for the issues to be ironed out... if you were more than happy with the 6 hr charge time that's yields 7 or 8 runs... then you could opt for an older 2800mah battery.... I have enjoyed being able to swap out a dead cell for a fresh one.....makes the issue moot IMO....

Now I'm not saying that this is what is going on at the moment....however it's not difficult to see something is going on "again" that is causing them to engage the stall process....:bang:

Patience is our only real tool as consumers during these beta type roll outs.....:peace:

I just received my inhalator.
:rockon:awesome.....
I was just on vacation with friends that had a new Fire Fly and once I got the hang of it.... I enjoyed some pretty tasty draws......I now understand what everyone has been talking about... I did find it easy to screw up also.....MUST STAY FOCUSed....which was a challenge at times....... they LOVED my XP with my glass tube mod... and of course they all commented on the "no muss no fuss" .... not sure if thats how that is spelled.....
Anyway would love to hear your thoughts comparing the two.....

keep in mind the FF does more of a flashing vapor while the INH05 is more of your slow roaster type so you will want to let it warm up..... maybe even pull in some of the warm air 1st created when turned on to get things rolling..... now me I like to pull fairly hard until I see the light begin to flash but I don't pull so hard as to make the light slow flash.... I feel this lowers the temp much too quickly.... I in fact try to keep it at the rapid flash as I feel this tells me it is trying hard and almost caught up to my set temp.....
I tell this to any new friends that try it for the first time.... once you get used to it you won't even watch the light anymore....I now feel it somehow...when I am drawing it in.....
Doesn't take long at all to zero in on the sweet spot.....ENJOY.....:peace:

Still getting acquainted with mine, love it so far, but will detail out later.

For now, just wanted to mention that the slow charging is a known issue to Pharmacor, which they are working to resolve. The interim solution is to use an external charger, which should be available from Pharmacor in a few weeks. Or use a wall charger of 1amp +.
Although I don't know for sure, I suspect the onboard charger may not be supplying enough power, or not fast enough. the light does go off eventually, just not as quick as the xp's & 004's.

Also, I do feel for those waiting, but just check out the grasshopper thread to see it can be even worse out there for new product launches.

Lastly, pls keep in mind that manufacturer's are mainly focused on R & D, production & general business. Retailers on the other hand are mainly focused on customer service.

By buying from a manu, you should have an idea of what you're getting into. if it's top notch CS you seek, I'd wait and deal with the retailers.

I second that....GREAT JOB Pharmacor!

Wish we could have a separate thread for customer service gripes, and leave this one to product info.

Just got an email from Frederick confirming my address for shipping!! Ordered August 7th. 2 week turnaround is great for a new product. Especially for those of us who lived through and learned how precious patience is from the Cera roll out:)

I feel customer service is a key factor when deciding to purchase.... not to mention it speaks mountains about an organization....so I for one want very much to know about others experiences when having to interface directly with the manufacturer.... :peace:

first impression is that it feels lighter than the XP if i remember correctly. at first i didnt think there was a cell in it... until i plugged it in. fucker is fully charged (at least per the LED) and ready to go. i did turn it on and it def heats faster than the XP. it got warm very quick. more to come.

When members complain, and their input proves to be less than valuable to you, you can"ignore" that member.... and from that moment forth, it will be as though they did not exist, and you will be 100% free of their input, in every thread. Even if another member "quotes" them, you will see the other member's post and not the quote from he who has been ignored!
Then you are free to review the Inhalater with impunity, as we will all be responsive and joyous.

Ok folks, beyond a shadow of a doubt the Inh05 is an amazing tool and worth the wait. It just suffers from what I published before and now I can claim it will not matter if you have a 3A USB charger, the Inh05 is going to take a long time to charge the battery. For why and how, just keep plodding along with the BarnBoy…

@hiphiphooray – Thanks for the advice man! The issue here with the Inh05 is no direct measure of battery life other than learned subjective inference of how the thing recovers and/or if it recovers. No doubt in my mind that a fully charged battery brings out the most of the Inh05. And what I saw this morning was an amazing recovery rate when additionally plugged in and fully charged! And yes painfully I discovered that once the Inh05 can’t recover when plugged into a charger, then unplugged lights will dim. So far, I have operated 95% of the time while on a good 1.5A or more USB charger or just charging…

So yes folks after 14 hours of additional charging on a 2 amp rated Apple iPad charger, my Inh05 finally indicated a full charge this morning. I verified full charge by unplugging and plugging back to the charger; charger light remained out! Let’s see now, 14 hours and 2 amps, that would be 28,000mAh. Ahhh something ain’t right here and my charge rates match @ElPic on a computer port…

First sign is neither the Ino05 nor the charger was ever warm to the touch while charging. Though 2 amps is possible, it is clear 2 amps was not flowing. I ordered more USB cables today as one discovery is that the cable that came with the Inh05 is total junk (ok, mine was). It doesn’t fit properly and may have been part of my cause for not having a full charge sooner. I will use said cable to measure actual USB currents and report back…

So today’s experiment was how long to full charge post dual back-2-back sessions (18 minutes operation) when on a 2 amp charger. After 5 hours the Inh05 still was not indicating full charge; OUCH! All indications are that no matter what kind of charger you toss at the Inh05, it will only trickle charge the battery. Don’t waste your money on an expensive high power USB charger or high current cables…

From what I can find, the Samsung battery that came with mine is rated at 3000mAh. So 14 hours to get this puppy charged means the Inh05 is limiting to ¼ amp or less. Again we will see soon enough…

Well another happy discovery was starting the Inh05 in the highest setting, and running it through a water bong that I have used for over 20 years. But only after I removed the 30 years of combusted gunk. Fond memories and excellent results made this a very magical discovery. Flavor was better than expected if not the best experienced as of date. Will definitely try this one again real soon; old and new friends…

Vape more, for life is way too short…

Mine was scheduled to be here the 08-26 but I hope to get it before since it seems to be in my country yesterday....maybe today...or tomorrow....or monday , I'm patiently waiting (hum, hum, I try!).

Hi Barnboy, look at the cheap-high quality glass thread cause it's amazing to see the vapour coming in your WT! (your bong reminds me my smoking kids years, we made a bong in everything we can!)

Solod out.
I'm impressed. I don't want to write a long review, almost everything has already been mentioned. What I want to do is compare it to other models I've used which are the original davinci, solo, firefly.

-Its somewhere between the original da Vinci and solo in terms of taste. Taste is not bad, not exactly great either. I really like the auto setting, whatever temp that is. Pretty smooth vapor though, in terms of smoothness I'd compare it to the solo.
Taste: above average, though the glass capsules will improve it.
-Efficiency is right there with the solo as one of the most efficient. Its more powerful, so it delivers faster. I know the solo is super efficient if you use like 1/4th the bowl. I need to try smaller amounts with the inhalator.
Efficiency: great
-Consistent extraction. When used right, I did get a very close to even color using any of the vapes I mentioned.
Even extraction: yes.
-Stealth: lights are bright, but smell is minimal. I really like that you don't need a cover for it to minimise smell. Just pop the cap on. Unit does not get too hot. Throw it in your pocket when its on and no problem.
-temp control: accuracy is hard to judge without a thermometer, but it offers a nice range of temperatures. I can't wait to try it with hash.
-Build: You already know its size, its so lightweight though. Excellent portability. Beats any other portable I've owned. Seems good quality too, everything snaps together well. You might want to pay attention when opening and closing the battery cover though. only time will tell if everything holds up.
-Same battery issues as everyone. I will be buying an external battery charger. I want to test the battery at its full capacity.
All in all, I'm satisfied. It fulfills what i'm looking for in a portable, I think. I need to do more testing tomorrow, especially with the bong. I have a cold so I'm taking it easy a bit on my lungs.

P.S. I used an enano basket screen to keep the herbs in the capsule, it fits perfectly.

one thing i noticed... is that it doesnt seem to be constructed of delrin anymore...?

it feels more like a poly plastic or something. this is what gives it the much lighter weight i think. it also feels a little less durable because of this, but that could be an incorrect assumption.

also, i fond that the capsules seem to be a tad long? part of the polymide sticks out of the chamber. this was not the case with my XP. the capsule inserted all the way into the chamber. this leads me to believe that if the capsule was shorter... that one would be able to produce better vapor at lower settings...?

my xp would vape pretty damn well on 2. my 05 had to be set to 6 to get the same quality vapor. so this makes me wonder if the length of the capsule could be adjusted to allow for lower setting vaping.

These charging problems are worrying, living in the UK it's going to be irritating sending it back etc. Will the external charger charge via usb? As this is one of the features I cared about most such that I can take my portable usb power pack camping and use it to charge the inhalator.

part of the top rim has been removed from the XP to allow the cap to click into the top of the INH05....
With the XP you were only able to see a small portion of the chamber sleeve but now on the INH05 you can see much more of the white chamber sleeve {assuming it is still white}.... once the screen portion of the polymide cap slips down past the sleeve opening it is in all the way..... you should almost feel a small click or bump when inserting it...... it is now normal to see more of the polymide because that extra lip has been removed to make way for the improved cap/cover.....

As far as you comment about number settings.....you like me were one of the lucky ones who got the Q2 "BEAST" and it's lower ranges were simply not there.... our Q2 set to #2 on the dial was the same as the now #5....there abouts...... I like you haven't found the lower settings to be useful but I'm told there are folks out there that love to tease themselves at those lower temps......

This question will likely be difficult to answer now that so much time has passed but.....have you noticed anything different about the experience {buzz}..?
