Unzari, if the light is out how is it working? You got me puzzled...

No idea cluffy! I'll leave that to the engineers as my studies were in other areas lol

You've made me think, though (and for that, thanks: it's not something that comes naturally to me).

I still feel some heat and I do get vapour butwhen I think about it, I don't seem to be getting as much as from before, but perhaps that's only becaase I don't see as much of it, which is a funny thing to say, actually: if I don't see as much, am I still getting the same amount? Dunno. But it's as if my batts aren't giving me as much juice as they were in the first couple of weeks (I've had mine for maybe 3 weeks now).

And maybe this is the biggest indicator: I don't find myself using my LB as often as I did when I saw the bottom of the little trench in there a-percolating away and wafts of vapour start to pour out and the light grow a little dimmer after several trenches.

^I'd be interested in that too

I just got my launch box today and it's wonderful!. So much easier than my vapor genie. It's going to be difficult not to pull this thing out all the time :)

I've had my LB for a little over a month. Its 99% taken over all other vapes. Everytime I think about packing a different one I just think how much less bud and how much more high I will be by using the LB. I use my LB approx 8-10 trenches of dank a day so it started to get dirty. I noticed the most residual buildup along the edges of the top of the trench. I carefully scraped a good bit of the resin (there wan't that much) with a small pocket knife then did my first iso/q-tip LB cleaning. Wow the iso took care of the rest and I have a damn near new looking LB!!

So i just got my LB yesterday only took about 3 days after it shipped so thats good shipping i ordered from vapeworld btw. Thats the fastest ive ever gotten anything in the mail and ive order online atleast around 20 times.

Ill give you my first impressions on it right out of the box it didnt really seem smaller then i thought like others have said in there reviews. I do like its compact size i havent used it on the go yet but it would be no problem if i did. The first hit was amazing tasted great ive smoked out of vapes before but only twice so the taste is still new to me. The one thing that tripped me out was reading comments that said vape high is different then smoke high which made me worried b/c i like getting ripped and not getting nice and toasty would suck. And i have troubles sleeping at night so weed has always been advil pm to me. Thank god i took the risk the high really isnt anything different to me just the fact im not so burnt out and feel like a crap after an hour. The LB gets me ripped it helped that i took around a week break from toking just to lower my tolerance and ive been tring to quit smoking cigarettes(going on a week!) so i didnt want to get high. And the whole battery situation isnt a big problem for me i only used 2 of my 4 batteies last night which was propally around 6 or more trenches. I like how the first person i vaped with which was my brother wanted one as soon as he hit it. And i told him about it before i got it and hes didnt seem like you need to drop 90 bucks on something that gets u to the same place as everything else. Which is understandable most ppl dont think dropping down extra cash will make any difference but one rip changed his mind instantly. One trench got me and my brother high and in no way are me and my brother lightweights. Even tho i was on a weed break i didnt expect such a small amout was enough to get us both high. Me and my brother combinded have easily around 15+ years of experience with mj. So the effciency is riduclous. I love just chillin watchin tv and just sitting there rippin it not worring about flames in the face its jsut so easy to use. Then little thing is also durable it took a little fall more like tumble which it hit my foot and rolled on the floor while i was tring to see how it looked with the mouthpiece on u must really have to jam it in there cuz it feel out which made me dropped the box sense i didnt have a good grip on it but im sure the box is completely fine it didnt hurt my foot when it dropped. So its good to know it can take a small fall and the lifetime warranty really makes u worried free. Even tho i take good care of my stuff its good to kno i can get it replaced if anything breaks/damaged. Sorry for all the rambling but this thing is just awesome and im glad i decided to buy it i dont kno if ill write a review because it will propally be longer then this post:lol:. And thanks to all the ppl that contributed to this thread it was a big reason why i decided to get a vape in the first place there just so much damn information on this site:ko:

And btw ive used battery chargers before but is it typical for a nimh battery charger and batteries to get hot to the touch. There not like oh shit hot coffee but still warm enough were i think something might be wrong.

Warm is ok, hot is not. For the long term durability of your batteries consider upgrading to a charger that also conditions.

I wonder if there is anyway to sterilize the LB. I just found out I have Pneumonia, and I have been using my LB all this time. Anyone use their LB while they were sick? Any ideas to get rid of germs?

Don't know how effective these would be, apparently pneumonia can be caused by multiple pathogens. But some ideas:

  • Swab with isopropanol[/*]
  • Spray everything with a non toxic disinfectant[/*]
  • Discharge a full battery to heat up the screen[/*]

Hope you feel better soon. :)

This is a dumb question but i noticed last night that one of my back up batteries that i bought seperate from my box has small little dents 8 to be exact all around it. I also stuck it into the charger to make sure that a light would go on and it did so the battery has to be good still. Just because the directions stated that if it doesnt turn the light on its a bad battery. So is it a bad idea to use a dented battery or not? I just want to make sure for safety reasons.

Ia! Ia! Vapor Fthagn!
ive noticed any dented batteries i have had tend to lose their charge pretty quickly compared to undamaged batteries. Eventually it will just no longer charge.

I brought my MFLB to Bumbershoot in Seattle this weekend, and I can guarantee at least 3 people around me ordered one the next day, they were blown away. It was perfect, I normally still combust at concerts (more group friendly), but I made the decision to only bring my mflb. We were in a non-smoking section (the beer garden) where they were strictly enforcing the rules, we would have been busted for sure. We made some friends and got good and medicated for Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros totally discreetly. It felt good to be an ambassador for such an amazing product. :)

Any update on a wall adapter coming out for this? I'm trying to work out if it's better to wait for it (assuming it's out soon) or to just bite the bullet and get the Maha C9000 charger. I guess I can use low discharge batteries in my xbox and remotes so I won't feel guilty about getting the charger.

I went somewhere interesting with my LB today for labor day: Sea World San Antonio

I got completely soaked on one of the rides but luckily I had put the AA and my cell phone in a plastic zip-lock. Despite getting wet from head to toe the launch box wasn't more than damp.. and it was producing vapor shortly after the incident :)

torres09: In case you aren't aware, you can use the charger for batteries that you will use in other devices, but the batteries for your LB have to be peeled and can be dangerous to use in anything else.

You don't need an expensive charger either. The one that comes with the LB is adequate, just slow. Slow charging hasn't been a problem for me at all. I cycle four batteries, and I have no trouble keeping at least two of them fully charged. I use my LB frequently throughout the day, too. Everyone's usage will differ, but I'm not sure I could run down two batteries in four hours even if I tried. Pretty sure I'd be too confused to go on before the first battery was gone.

The LB Is a wonderful device and you'll love it. I therefore advise you not to wait for the wall power supply. You can always buy the adapter when it is available and in the meantime you can enjoy the LB the way God meant it to be used. You wouldn't want to deprive yourself of those happy times.

Just got my magic flight from www.australianvaporizers.com.au yesterday and its awesome.

I think its one of the best portable vapes on the market today. Only thing I dont like is waiting for the batteries to charge...
Wow that price ($135) on their site is a bit ridiculous.

I paid $134.90 AUD shipped to Sydney for MFLB, extra batteries, whip, extra cleaning brush and extra stems from vapeworld!

Yeah I know I wouldn't be able to use peeled LB batteries in other equipment I was just looking for an excuse to splash out on the Maha charger :p then I read this and was convinced :p

A set of 4 alkaline AA batteries will cost you $7. For the price of 3 sets of alkaline batteries you can buy a set of more powerful 2700mAh AA batteries.
After 10 uses you have saved $48.
After 100 uses you have saved $687.
Over the 1000-use life of the Maha AA NiMH batteries you would save $6980!

Prices in AU dollars.

Anyway I ended up purchasing the maha along with some power ex batteries for the LB and some medions for my xbox/wii controllers. Should arrive tomorrow so I can start breaking them in in time for when my LB arrives.

Just so no one is accidentally mislead, while the alkaline vs. NiMH comparison is valid for cost vs. battery life, alkalines aren't to be used with the LB, since they're drained in a flash.
