Discontinued Inhalater INH05/5S/6

ElPic

Take my money
If a charger is 0.5A and you left that on for 20 hours, that is 10 Amp-Hours of charge. The best battery I have found is approx 3.4Amp-hours (3400mA-hours)...

Thus the experiments I'm still doing...

Yeah, to be honest I do a session after like 13 hrs of charge and I put my unit back on charge after that session for an other like 6 hrs to see the light go off.
So it took me close to 19hrs to charge it too full capacity with my computer but my timing is not that accurate.
I never let my Inhalater die since this time, I put it on charge after each use!
How long does it take to charge the Inhalater with the charger that came in the full kit???

the problem is you usb on the computer has low amper output i think...try a different port or the charger on the wall.

I think in terms of charging, buying extra batteries and an 18650 battery charger is the way to go.

I agree. I happened to have the same batteries and an external charger from my haze vaporizer, so I actually haven't even tried to charge with the USB.

And yes, if you are having slow charge times, stop using a laptop. Those are .5 amps. Get a 2.5 amp wall adapter and it will be 5x faster (most Samsung ones are 2.5).

Also, a good cable can make a difference over a really bad one. Again; OEM phone charging cables are going to be your best bet. Get them for more recent phones which have rapid charge capabilities. These cables and wall chargers are made to allow high amp charging which rappid discharge batteries like the ones for the inhalater can handle without damage.

This thing is awesome. I really do love it.

I saw this artist use elaborate equipment to create clouds in buildings and photograph the same. I guess he didn’t know about the Inh05…

With my XP, when performance lacked I immediately charged the unit (definitely 2+ amps). Clouds and vapor production at full charge are significantly greater than when below half charge.

@BarnBoy, you really should not be letting anything with a Lithium Ion battery run until it's charge is fully depleted. You're battery life will be decreased if you continue doing this.

Battery care is the most important type of maintaince with the Inhalater since performance seems to lack when the battery is low. Outside of battery care, the unit requires little to no maintaince. Soak your extra capsules in PBW and rotate them in and out.

With the battery fully charged and a clean capsule, the Inhalater is hard to beat!

Yesterday I finally got a follow up PM answer to my repeated requests for tracking info.

Not sure whether I should laugh, cry or bang my head against a wall. This is officially number 6 of the same-old-same-old that started with the first beginning at the start of August . And I quote:

"HI William, your unit was shipped already, I'll forward you your tracking # shortly. You should receive it by the end of the week.

Thanks"

When I got home from work yesterday I saw a box with a Canada Post on it. Thought for sure it was from @Inhalater. Tore open the box to find my order from PlanetVApe in Canada for the Inhalater water tool adapter I ordered on 8/13/14 instead. Hmmmmmm......it was sent with the cheapest possible shipping method and arrived but the INH05 with expedited 4 day USA shipping is still on it's way. Draw your own conclusion.

And no. I still don't have any tracking info. Nor do I expect it anymore at this stage especially not after 3 weeks of their broken promises. It's a shame really.

Your comment solidifies my gut feeling that what others, myself included, are getting. And that's a canned response.

Since it's not on their web site, does anyone know what their return policy is?

I don't know, but I'm with you. I've gotten the same canned responses. Seriously, in what world can you tell someone "your order has shipped" and then not be able to give them a tracking number? And not respond to any further inquiries?

I seriously regret ordering from them. The device may be great, but I've never seen such awful communication. I'm giving 'em one more week to make me feel more warm and fuzzy and less jerked-around.

return policy?in the begining when i got my XP unit it took like 4 months to be sent...I tried to get refund since it was taking so long...the company wont let you.they will keep telling you to wait and that they will fix the problem and to not worry and blah blah blah...It feels like this company will never get serious with customers...everytime they seem to become a little professional and every time in the end they convince me about how amateurs they are.So dissapointing...

Well, for me they have until the end of next week, before 30 days is up, and then I will initiate a charge back on my credit card.

I've had it up to my eyeballs with this run around empty promises policy. It may work for others.....not me.

I spoke too soon. I charged the battery up and the light turned off like it should. I used it twice and it died. I then charged it up all night and the light is still on like it's still charging. Wtf pharmacour? This had the potential to be a game changer

UPDATE: after sending yet another text to the company, I was assured up and down that it shipped and they'd send me a number. Sure enough, an hour later I get a Canada post tracking number. It's legit, and shows the ship date as yesterday. USPS also finds the number (in addition to Canada Post). Oddly, neither site shows my name or address as a destination, so at the moment I'm taking it on faith that I am indeed the recipient of this package. (Kinda odd, actually...)

Says "4-10 biz days". I'll just have to wait to see how this unfolds from here. Seems like a good sign, at least some improvement. Fingers crossed.

Did you check to see if it actually charged? ElPic said something about both of his units doing this...the light not going off, even though it was really fully charged.

Unacceptable. I would feel the same way. Whats the deal with these guys and releasing defective units/not shipping units?? Its like a broken record player over here. Stop blzing so much and do WORK!

Meh.....they still fibbed when they told you already it shipped and you should have expected it end of week. I'm still glad it finally shipped for you though.

Wouldn't some honesty on @Inhalater part go a long way and just fess up and let us know they are struggling to get things out and just give us honest shipping estimates instead of canned response BS just to keep us hangin and pissin us off?

Edit: I'm going to try your text idea and see if that gets me anywhere

Well in fairness to them, they only actually said it had shipped yesterday, and when they said that, it had indeed shipped, but only just. If this number really is my package headed to me (and right now there's insufficient data) then they didn't actually tell me anything untrue, so far.

But yes, this has been frustrating as hell, and hopefully I get it and never have any issues...because based on my experience with them so far, I do not wanna have to rely on them for future service.

If it makes anyone feel better, my currency reached their pockets on June 13th. I too have been led around in circles and have yet to receive a tracking number. I even asked if I could add some more items to the order and still no reply. Oh well I'll give them some more time, I used the XP at a Chevelle concert last night and it gave me a little bit more patience for the INH05.....

Well, Fredrick got back to me yet again with assurances that it shipped. He's on the road and when he gets back to the office he will forward me a tracking.

Hopefully at this point he's sick of me bugging him and realizes I'm sick of the run around. Mutual sickness?:hmm:

Look, maybe Im just a realist but this is for all those that are complaining about wait times. Inhalater has clearly stated that these 05's are rolling out in batches. I believe he said about 50 go out at a time. This company isent new but it is a NEW PRODUCT. They are going to have problems, they are going to have hiccups, they are going to have delays. This is what happens with a NEW PRODUCT. Im sure the guys over at inhalater are drowning in emails and calls every day about when their vaporizer will arrive.

Have some patience, vape some and chill out. Im sure they are busting there ass day in and day out to get yall your vapes but with a small company like this its going to take TIME. If you dont like unexpected hiccups or delays DONT buy on the first day. A few companies here have tried this and failed so for your happiness's sake DONT expect things to go smoothly on a launch like this, youll be a lot better off that way.

In the mean time, give these guys some space to breathe and stop hitting them up every day with emails and calls. They are a professional company with really awesome guys behind it that will make sure EVERYONE here gets their inhalater that they paid for.

Sorry, but your missing the whole point of our complaints. So for clarification, they already told us that our orders shipped and for many of us have repeatedly said that they would get us tracking info. In my case this started 3 WEEKS ago and it's the same for others. Most of us have not heard a peep out of them except for canned responses.

Sorry, but were in the right in this situation.

Do I feel for Inhalater? Yes....but open a line of communication and I bet most of us will understand. I know I would.

They may have indeed already shipped your unit then and are stalling on the tracking numbers. I remember when I ordered my xp about a year ago it took 2-3 weeks to get to my doorstep (thats with them claiming that they had units and were ready to ship THAT DAY). I also remember having to shoot a couple emails back and forth before I did get a tracking number as well.

I still say in either case to give them time. Your unit is or will be coming to you. I know it sucks that tracking/proper info on when it was shipped out sucks, but inhalater is a company you can count on.

I ordered from indiegogo and haven't heard from them since like a month. Anyone else in the same boat? I should have priority over people who ordered from the website. Right?

They said all the backers will have first priority.

@Inhalater can you please give us a update on how and when units are being shipped out in batches? Is there a timeframe that you have for a completion on all indiegogo orders? Im just curious when those of us who ordered from the website will be receiving our units....as is everyone else.
