Not the torch I wanted but I couldn't pass up the deal.

To give you an idea of my excitement, the top torch in the pic is roughly the size of my current torch!

got my stem today fit way to tight in the solo after putting it on temp 7 letting it heat all the way. i tried removing it and the glass just snapped at the bowl. I wouldnt be so mad but its the fact i spent 30 dollars on a stem i could of gotten for like 15, it was very nicely made though, nice and thick, but to thick i couldn't even pull the thing out of my solo before it snapped. there's 30 dollars down the drain i dont recommend these, someone who makes the stems to tight is not good in my book.

I had offered to replace it for shipping cost. It fit absolutely perfectly in my solo. But since you'd rather slander my work then that offer is now off the table! Btw find someone to make you a 15$ color worked solo stem. Last I knew I'm the only game in town. I try to be cool to all of my customers but you have come at me with the wrong attitude!

lol, i guess im sorry about that. it snapped and i have a huge gash in my hand, i posted on here before i pmed because im so angry at the moment. you can do as you will but i hope you can see it from my point of view as well.

So it's my fault you gashed your hand? I think I'd like to take a poll of everyone that has ever cut their hand on a broken piece and see if they held the glassblower that made it responsible.

Really should've pm'd me before your little write up.

I will however still replace it for shipping cost. Just to make sure you know I wasn't intentionally gashing your hand.

I am also young and hot headed. Shit happens but, I also try to carry myself with a certain amount of professionalism. This should have been brought to my attention directly before putting me on blast. I'm always more than willing to bend over backwards for my customers rather than sully my own good name.

last time I broke a piece I couldnt even get in contact with the blower to ask about getting it replaced... little lone fixed!

glass breaks... its fragile no matter how thick it is.

how can a blower truely know that it was being used properly and wasnt dropped right on that stem... only you know for sure... everyone else has to go on faith your being honest about how it broke...

I bet v&c would have fixed it given the chance initially.... he seems like a really easy going guy man...

sorry you cut your hand btw, I once had a piece break in my hand and fall right on top my foot and stab me.. sticking out and eveything.... ouch! the blood! ouch! ouch ouch!

Soo.. I totally get where your coming from friend....

but...

never the less, anger at someone who made you something just cause it broke seems unwarrented...

im just gonna stop now...

I personally find that waiting until it cools down a bit helps for me.
Sometimes with my Arizer EQ the cyclone bowl feels STUCK and I can't twist it or pull it off at all, and the first few times I really tried but I got scared after reading reports of that having the potential to cause breakage.
Hope all is well now and you weren't hurt too badly. :peace:
