Once upon a time, mineral oil used to be used for wood cutting boards to prevent them from being dried out. Now not recommended for cutting boards as it may harbor pathogens (I guess), but prolly still good in general, for wood. I use it on my Purple Days (no longer a daily driver). But it is not a cleaner. Perhaps a little liquid detergent diluted in water, eg. Joy if FlyingLow's suggestion doesn't work. Use 0000 steel wool: it is very fine.

@al bundy the only reason is the detachable cord. it just makes everything easier, i only recently realized the v2 had a new cord.
I hear you on that. Shoot him an email and see if a removeable plug can be put on.
Looks like it can be done from the outside.
OR get a new one and sell the other one. :brow:

Phew! Back after a nice weekend getaway with the wife (Lunch/Dinner in three costal towns in three states in one weekend!!) - After three days on less than 2g of herb and my portable DV Ascent, It's GOOD to be home with my Nano!
:smug:

sound's legit, do you have any pics? I have a cherry unit, so something along that color scheme would be awesome, thanks!

PM me if you're legit interested, Since the PWM controller case can disassembled by removing two screws, its theoretically possible to 3D print a replacement case in a variety of materials including steel, gold plated steel, brass, and even composite wood which can then be sanded and stained (artificial woodgrain can be added through the use of alternating printhead temperatures throughout the printing process)

Like I said, lots to discuss, if you're interested in a custom case for your PWM controller, PM me

Well I pulled the trigger on one of Andy's Exotic Nano's last Wednesday and I am happy to say my Nano was in my hands yesterday. I couldn't ask for faster shipping, Thank you Andy.
After reading most of the replies here I decided the Nano was for me. Being this is my first vape (dr's orders) I have never really tasted what my meds should taste like, it is nothing like smoking the taste is incredible. Also being new to vaping I thought it would be a hard to use but once I hit it I wasn't worried anymore. I do recommend buying at least 1 extra adjustable stem because one broke (dropped) last night in a session. I am in the process of taking pictures in natural sunlight to show the beautiful work Andy does.

Welcome!

You made an EXCELLENT decision! I wish my first vape was a Nano! It would have saved me a LOT of money. Indeed, I never realized how good the meds could taste until I fucked combustion and started vaping!

First post on FC - I'm considering one of these vapes and I'm wondering if the draw is restricted? I'm not a fan of the restricted draw on the Solo.

it's a bit restricted but it's not a problem for me, I can't compare with the solo though...

I've had multiple new Solo units, and still use mine regularly on the go. Here is how the draw resistance stacks up against a Nano:

I do not have a great fit with the gong into blubber joint, it seems too small and ends up just resting on the rubber grip, so I need to press the bowl down while using it for a good seal.

I am not sure if it is the seal, but I find myself using the dry stem far more.

@FlyingLow did you get this sorted..? From what you're sayimg, it very much sounds like you're trying to use a 14mm male gong in an 18mm female joint... that would give the problem you've got with it sliding all the way in (:brow:)...

If you have you'd prob need an adapter for it to fit properly.

  sorry for the huge pic...

Stoned!
It took two weeks from @Snappo to my door. Snappo has streamlined the process down to be eazy peazy! I love the Afzalia color and grain. I wish I could take pics but other than my phone I don't have a way to post. I am not savvy enough to get them off my phone and to here. :(
As for the E Nano itself.....wow, very nice. It is small, simple and it is awsome. I get very medicated with lots of vapor right away. I leave it plugged in so it is ready when I am. The stems are larger than I thought, but perfect and easy to use and get the hang of. I am very happy and agree that this is the end all for plug in vapes. Some will argue that but not with my wallet they won't! ;) I am very happy with my purchase, with Snappo and my Nano!

@GReYAReA ~ It is the correct size for the correct joint; 14mm gong ordered and a 14mm SB Travel Bubs. I thought if I removed some of the rubber tubing, it would reveal wider and fit better but it just falls further down until it bottoms out again on the rubber tubing.

@Newcastle ~ go to www.imgur.com. Simply upload them to that website, then right click the picture and select copy image address. Paste image address into the "Post Reply" form here at FC.

Another day gone by and no nano. I tried calling the company to request shipping info but no response unless Im supposed to leave a message on their machine? I don't even know if its still coming. Help me @ACE OF VAPE your my only hope.

does anyone know if Andy offers some kind of trade in/upgrade for v1 owners? figure i will send him an email on monday, but the thought just entered my head and now i'm curious :D
Sadly no, he does not.
When I had my early V1 cord repaired a few months back, I was given an option to get a free warranty repair or have it upgraded to a removable cord for a small fee. I don't see any reason he wouldn't do this for someone just wanting a cord upgrade.

When did you order? Mine took a little over 2 weeks but that was last month during the july 4th.
August 8, 2014
Order was processed and shipped August 13 with 2 day priority mail and I live in New York. Hopefully this week then :(

Edit: I think Im getting ahead of myself and will give it more time. Its only been 4 business days since it shipped so I think my complaining is premature. Ive read all 300 pages of this forum, all /r/vaporents stuff on the enano and seen everyone of @Caligula awesome videos to keep me sane and taken a 12 day t-break waiting for it so the anticipation is immense. Can't wait;)

Believe me, you're not the first one to have issues with customer service. But in the end, Andy will take care of you, and you will LOVE your nano. Just ask @Mr. Gweilo 420 about his CS woes back when he ordered his first Nano - He was so furious he wanted to HATE the nano once it was delivered. Only to change his tune a week after it arrived

Sometimes it's challenging to deal with small businesses, but at the end of the day, they will usually offer better customer service than you could ever get from a large corporation.

Also keep in mind, I have a suspicion that Andy is building between 70 and 80 Nano's a month on average. That's a LOT for one man and a part time employee to handle

I agree with @Ratchett above. I had ordered 2 adjust-a-bowls, but only 1 came. I emailed, but no response. I replied though the website, no response. Then I found out here in this thread that his website was screwy. I pm'ed AceofVapes here on FC: problem solved. Its hard when you are the Chief, Cook, & Bottlewasher to do it all at once. If something goes haywire, like an SMTP setting, it's hard to know about it.

The Nano has some long legs; and I have been running the hell out of 'em!

What a vape! Mine is solid, and I found the sweet spot for my unit between 6.5 and 6.75.
I have portables but I think I may take this one with me everywhere:D

Looking forward to some Ed's TnT & Joda to complete my package. Ed has got the matching stem from Snappo, and think I am set on a carbed GonG from Joda.

Heh, unfortunately the cord and the heatup times are a big PITA for me to travel.
However you still have that Lotus which is a PERFECT compliment to the Nano. When my wife wants to go outside for a smoke and I'm too lazy to deal with electrical cords and such, I simply toss the Lotus on a J-hook and walk outside.

Happy to hear you're loving the Nano, it's an awesome vape! And I love that we can customize it even more with custom stems from @VaPeD&CoNfUsEd and @Ed's TnT

@boldwhite

The "Y" piece is called a "Claisen Adaptor". the ratio number (24/40 for example) means "24 mm wide / 40 mm deep", good enough for an 18.8 mm Male . Here is an Ebay link.
http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2050601.m570.l1311.R1.TR10.TRC0.A0.H0.Xclais&_nkw=claisen adapter&_sacat=0

There were some with stoppers. I think I paid $13. Maybe it was someplace else. I'll search through my receipts. A person could always put, say, an 18 mm Male to 18mm Male adapter and use the hole as a carburetor hole ya cover w/ your thumb. Or an old wine cork.

here is a link for solid glass stoppers.

I am working on an order with V&C now, going to get a gong and I can't decide:

Should I go for one of the steamrollers for the nano, or a bent neck stem?

Steamroller has peaked my interest, but i think it might be a bit awkward (so I'm waiting until I have a bit of extra $$ before I order one lol). The bent neck stem sounds interesting.

But I still prefer vaping through water (currently working with V&C on a worked 19mm carb'd GonG stem) :science:
